Was hoping for it to be WAY BETTER THAN EXPECTED but was a bit of a let down. So went there for lunch with a friend. I had heard his place was amazing and the food was great but in my opinion it's a 3 out of 5 the waiters are attentive and come around often but the food I found it over all bland and dry.

Cassabe in Mayaguez is a beautiful and great restaurant. High ceilings, elegant stairs, nice bar, right in the middle of the Plaza in Mayaguez. The food is great. This is our second time coming here and we can't get away from their Pasta with churrasco! Price is awesome and the service is on point. The place just opened a few weeks ago so hopefully they keep it this way. The family owners are usually around, which is a sign of dedication to their business. So good on them! Looking forward for our next time.

This restaurant was truly amazing. Five For the food, the place, service, ambiance at a good price. Best restaurant in Mayaguez area. I wish Sylvia many years of success so I can keep going back every time I visit my familia.

Very nice place to visit. Ample and cozzy atmosphere. Very relaxed. Service and attention is tops. Food selection is average to good. Satisfied with order though chicken could have been cleaner. Did I mention that the attention was good; well above average. Location is also good. Pricing is great for such a place. I recommend the place and will revisit in the future. 3 stars due to chicken issue...

Recommended by a local friend decided to try this new restaurant in Mayaguez Centro. Our server was very attentive and had great suggestions for us. We started with their surtido platter which had traditional appetizers like bolitas de queso, surullos and more and what can be wrong with this delicious appetizers and our traditional mayoketchup sauce. I ordered their lobster tail which was served with mashed viandas and was just spectacular and only for $25 a great deal and so delicious. My friend ordered their shrimp mofongo and she was just facinated. To finish our meal we had some passion fruit and rum cocktails. I hope they can make it in such a tough spot. I definitely will be back when back in PR.

The decor is restrained which makes the chandeliers and the beautiful staircase railing take center. Loved it.

What great find! The place is about a year old and serves seriously good Puerto Rican cuisine. The fish stuffed mofongo is excellent!

Don Ramon, aka Jack Palance, because he is always spiffy and sharp, will welcome you and make sure you have the time of your life, treat you like family. He will also prepare some yummy empanadillas (fried turnovers) filled with fresh crabmeat (yeap poor little blue crabs he feeds corn for weeks and then boil them, is that considered animal abuse?) or shrimp with a homemade mojo (tomato/sofrito based sauce).
