If you really care about the loved ones who survive you, do not use this firm. They are very good to you when you are still alive, but horrible to your family when you are no longer here. As a personal representative of the deceased, I had to speak through a receptionist for legal matters as she did not transfer me to the responsible attorney nor to a paralegal. The advice given to me was incorrect. If I didn't engage another attorney, it would have cost me $1,500 for that unnecessary process. Further, they filed the Will with the State with one page missing. It cost us additional legal fees to deal with it, which they refused to cover. The responsible attorney who has the name of this firm said through the paralegal I could finally speak she would take over the case instead. The family had no trust in them so refused that offer. The attorney never spoke with us for anything. Their business model is to put you on hook with a low price. It's your family who suffer from the consequences after you die. Find an attorney who has great reviews from families of the deceased. I am sure that's what you care the most. read more

Simple will for 2 plus a trust for $1200 is not a bad price compared to other places. Quick and easy. First interview was over the phone and through email which was super convenient. Second contact was to go over the paperwork, sign and pay. No errors found in documents! Everyone was super friendly. Additions to the document were explained and Seem simple enough. I'm not sure what issues after death others were having but distribution of wealth shouldn't involve the law firm as much as working with a title company, DMV, the banks, crematories, etc. with the provided documents. I had a simple question - who's responsible for a credit card bill. I was advised to look at my paperwork- REALLY? My paperwork is in CA I'm in NV I was told they will not answer without an appointment and because there are 2 executors they both must be on the call! Then I got home went thru the worst time in my life digging thru their folder The paperwork they gave us showed Power Of Attorney much legal jargon they were missing the EXECUTOR page which was needed Brandy Cassidy wrote back I need to hire an attorney to get a copy of this page!! My father paid for the paperwork they missed putting it in the folder I'm the executor why can't they print a copy ( I'll pay for the stamp!) I didn't realize it was missing until my fathers passing. My husband and I were referred to Cassady Law by a friend to have our living trust done recently. We were generally satisfied with the service we received there. The receptionists were friendly, the trust seems to have been well-done and thorough, and the price was reasonable. Our only issue is that we felt very uncomfortable with their "in your face" political views. Granted, this does not affect the quality of their work, so maybe I shouldn't even mention it. However, I feel that a business should maintain a more neutral stance when it comes to politics, especially in today's divisive culture. When researching the company (after our initial appointment to discuss the trust), I found some rather disturbing political Twitter posts from one of the partners. If I had seen these posts prior to having the trust done, I would have gone elsewhere. read more

I called the Summerlin office today to make an appointment for an elderly family member that asked me to make an appointment for whenever I can take her in for a trust. They wanted to talk with the client to hear from her what she wants, I said well I will bring her in and she will be telling lawyer exactly what she wants, i'm calling for an appointment for a trust. They would not give me an appointment without talking with her due to "privacy reasons". What privacy reasons i have no idea, i wasn't asking for any of her information, i was calling for an appointment, i was at work and she was at home, i needed to make the appointment for a date and time that I can bring her there, I told the girl to call her if she wants to ask what she wants and if I can make an appointment, she said no just have her call. These receptionists never give you a name either, they know they give bad service and don't want you to know who they are or report them. Needless to say we will not be using their service, they are rude and inconsiderate, and reading through other reviews it looks like their work is not the greatest either. Negative review. I called Attorney Jasen Cassidy to inquire about hiring their law firm for a case. The receptionist said "hold on" then came back and said the attorney does not want the case. I asked her why he would decline a case without discussing it with the client first. She didn't have an answer and she insulted me by trying to give me a phone number to the state bar referral service. I'm guessing the case is too large of an estate for Attorney Cassidy to handle. Hire a different attorney. You can't risk him making conclusions without getting all the facts about your case just as he did with my case. Don't walk, run. read more

I recently purchased a home in Clark County and after getting a recommendation from a friend, requested a consult from Cassady Law. I initially got a warm welcome from Brandi and explained I live in California and she referred me to Brendan who is licensed in both California and Nevada. They had a very easy template I filled out and we scheduled the phone call. He was very thorough and I flew in for a signing at their offices. All the documentation was prepared for my reading, corrections made and met with Brendan. He explained everything, shared some personal stories of his background and I really felt he was looking out for my best interests. His knowledge of both CA and NV was what I was looking for. I went there to get a living trust in case I decide to die one day. Cassady Law made the entire process simple enough for an old senior like myself who sometimes can't even remember what I had for lunch a half hour ago. One thing I never worried about during the process was catching the dang virus because they're so thorough. They give you gloves, masks, sanitizers, your own pen that they don't want back, and you talk to them through a plexiglass barrier as though you're opening up to a priest in a confession booth about your lifetime of sins. I half expected them to make me stand still so they could run an ultraviolet wand over my entire body, then put my sneakers through one of those bowling alley shoe sanitizers. That's how thorough they are at Cassady. Their prices were reasonable and they were patient with me and that's important because I'm a very serious guy, as you can tell. I submitted a detailed, thorough request via the "Contact Us" section of the website. No one ever got back to me. Eventually, I called the office and spoke with Nikki, who was "unable" to access the Contact Us section of the website, but would not let me speak with whoever had access to it. I didn't want to have to explain my request in detail again. Nevertheless, she declined to do so, but was eager to get my wife and I in for a "free consultation." I explained that I was the one consulting the attorney, not my wife, and that I was perfectly willing to pay for the consultation -- nothing "free" was needed or asked for. Nikki claimed the attorney would only see me if my wife tagged along, which was totally unnecessary and a waste of my wife's time. I explained that if I retained the firm, I would be happy to bring my wife in for a meeting if they still wanted to do so. They would not budge from this position. Such a requirement for a new, paying client seems incomprehensible and arrogant. I have dealt with attorneys many times in my professional career, and have never heard of an attorney refusing to see a paying client unless a wife was dragged in. Obviously, I took my business elsewhere. Very strange. First, the ignoring of the Contact Us submission, and then refusal to meet with a new client unless my wife tagged along. We wanted to create a simple, straight forward will. Cassady provided us with an efficient, 30 minute phone consultation. After that we were scheduled for an in-person signing. The signing was quick, not a lot of detailed explanation, but then again the entire process is $99 (per person). You might find a downloadable template online for slightly cheaper, but then you'll still need to pay a notary and won't have your originals safeguarded. A couple of reviews have negatively mentioned the office's choice of political news for their waiting room tv. I find that odd since so many companies and sports leagues are taking political stances nowadays and disseminating them to the public, to many people's applause. My brother was a police officer died at age 67 in Nevada. He started to develop a serious memory problem from being taised in his head, many concussions and pain medicine for the chronic hurts from his job. This led him to forget his entire family and think everyone was out to get him. So he moved to Nevada, while he was suffering in his mind and changed his will in 2018. He left a friend, that he thought was his friend, a former police officer who visited him couple time a year. My brother changed his will and made him executor. The last year before he passed he got his memory back and remembered us, his sister and niece. He asked that his executor take care of us, but his so called friend, constantly stated there was nothing left in the estate and he would break even, but there was so much money and he never honored his wish. His wife got the money, and they even kept all personal family videos, etc.. They never even notified his police friends, they had his phone to let them know he passed so absolutely no police after all his dedication showed up at the funeral. I had many questions for Cassady and they never answered me. Death certificate was incorrect and other questions. They had no sympathy for his family, never answered questions so I am trying again. I thought estate lawyers should have compassion for family, but they had none. My brother deserved better and so did his family. read more

I called the Cassady office as they had done work for me in the past and I wished to rewrite my will and edit my trust. However, the receptionist that answered my call was not helpful, and stated that no attorney was available, but, told me that someone would call me back within 24 hours. After waiting many days, I called the office again and was firmly informed that no attorney would call me back, and that only the paralegals did wills and trusts. Having been a past client and worked with Mr Cassidy in the past, I again mentioned that I only wished to work directly with an attorney. She was rude and officious and so I emailed Cassidy Law, and never received a reply. After the above experience, I wonder how they stay in business and practice law. I will begin with my experience in the beginning being wonderful. I spoke to the paralegal and the attorney and everything went smooth. My issue came when I was trying to find the office to sign my paperwork. A very unprofessional receptionist who did not know how to give directions sent us next to the Coffee Bean, and the office is not next to the coffee bean. I called 3 different times and on the 3rd phone call she place me on hold for 4 minutes and by then we found Cassidy law. Upon walking in she tells us they cannot see us because we were 15 minutes late and that the appointment will take an hour. I told her I sent all informational documents to the paralegal and all we had to do is sign, when she told me nobody was there. So you mean to tell me within 15 minutes of being lost everyone just leaves to go to lunch, knowing there is a client who is lost? I called the receptionist an air head and she told me to leave and I told her I am happy to leave a unprofessional environment. They need to let people know they do not take clients that are late ahead of time, due to the receptionist sending them all over the place. Unbelievably unprofessional, I was going to give them 4 trusts and they lost a lot of business from me, due to a receptionist who cannot give directions and represents the business so poorly. read more
