This firm really dropped the ball, a bunch of times. They kept blaming the realtor. We lost the first buyer because of their mistake. They kept promising things but they really had no business making promises (they turned out to be empty promises). When it came to cut the checks, more mistakes were made. There were three parties involved in our probate case. The paralegal didn't return my husband's calls, thus losing the 1st buyer. 90% of my husband's calls were not returned.

The attorney, John Park arrived more than five minutes late to our scheduled meeting. When he finally came in, he was not cordial at all and immediately acted rushed, as if we were an inconvenience. His tone was dismissive and hostile rather than welcoming or professional. Almost immediately, he told me--very abruptly--that I needed to leave the room because my older brother was involved in a disinheritance issue. He refused to clearly explain why or give me context, and instead spoke in what felt like a threatening manner, repeatedly saying things like, "If you want my help, you need to leave," and "If you don't want my help, you're welcome to leave." I was deeply concerned because my mother was being asked to make serious legal decisions, and I felt it was important for the attorney to understand our full family situation and assets. I also felt uneasy about the possibility of my mother being pressured into signing something without proper discussion. Instead of addressing these concerns, the attorney became increasingly confrontational. Eventually, his boss entered, and I overheard him explaining the situation in a way that made it seem like he had done everything he could, blaming my presence for the issue and claiming it could "end up in court" simply because I was there. So I grabbed my documents and left. As we were leaving he said "good luck finding another attorney that will help you in this matter". Overall, this was a stressful, intimidating experience that lacked basic professionalism, empathy, and clear communication--especially for something as sensitive as family estate planning. I would not recommend this firm to anyone looking for a calm, respectful, and transparent attorney-client experience.
