I came in with my mother expecting a straightforward family trust setup, and the experience was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable from the start. The attorney, John Park arrived more than five minutes late to our scheduled meeting. When he finally came in, he was not cordial at all and immediately acted rushed, as if we were an inconvenience. His tone was dismissive and hostile rather than welcoming or professional. Almost immediately, he told me--very abruptly--that I needed to leave the room because my older brother was involved in a disinheritance issue. He refused to clearly explain why or give me context, and instead spoke in what felt like a threatening manner, repeatedly saying things like, "If you want my help, you need to leave," and "If you don't want my help, you're welcome to leave." I was deeply concerned because my mother was being asked to make serious legal decisions, and I felt it was important for the attorney to understand our full family situation and assets. I also felt uneasy about the possibility of my mother being pressured into signing something without proper discussion. Instead of addressing these concerns, the attorney became increasingly confrontational. Eventually, his boss entered, and I overheard him explaining the situation in a way that made it seem like he had done everything he could, blaming my presence for the issue and claiming it could "end up in court" simply because I was there. So I grabbed my documents and left. As we were leaving he said "good luck finding another attorney that will help you in this matter". Overall, this was a stressful, intimidating experience that lacked basic professionalism, empathy, and clear communication--especially for something as sensitive as family estate planning. I would not recommend this firm to anyone looking for a calm, respectful, and transparent attorney-client experience. read more

TL;DR - Sam Warrens support staff is trash and not helpful do not go here, especially if you are in elder care. I wouldn't recommend John Park Law to anyone!!! I was referred to them to get an independent review of estate documents of an elderly family member. Setting up the appointment was easy enough. I specifically asked what to bring and brought exactly that. At the consultation they inform me that they needed original documents, okay no problem. They told me to my face "just drop off the documents and set up a time" which I did a week or so later. Before my new appointment I get a call from someone on Sam Warrens staff (Ryanne or Ravan or something similar) and she proceeds to tell me I need to come back in and sign a retainer. Okay I ask if we can do that digitally and then she backtracks says they need to review the documents first. So I ask for clarification of the next steps because she is contradicting herself and she launches into a very confusing heated tirade. All I wanted was clarification on the next steps because she kept telling me different things and she angrily tells me I don't have to work with them. So I clarify again that I just want to know what the next steps of this process will be, she again angrily tells me that "If you don't like it, you don't have to work with us" I say fine I'll pick up my documents and find someone else. So this review is not on Sam Warren (who I was trying to get a consultation with but never met) it specifically on his support staff. Ryanne or Ravan gal is terrible!! She is not a good communicator and got very heated when questioned. I'm so grateful that I dealt with her and not my elderly family member; I can't imagine how she would have treated an older person who needs some patience and extra context for understanding. read more
