Chad was receptive to my questions and changed a few of my requirements. After all got cleared up, sent my deposit and the work was scheduled and performed over 3 days. A roofing tile was blown off of an edge of our roof during the last rain. it was on an edge and would not affect the roof's ability to keep us dry. I called Cassidy Roofing and talked to Shawn. He said when they had someone in the area he would send them to replace the tile. Guess when the guy showed up. Today when it is raining. He went up and replaced the tile. Cassidy Roofing did a leak repair job for us several years ago and we have been dry ever since. They are courteous and friendly and do a good job. I recommend them to anyone needing a new roof or repair on their roof. read more

Our longtime roofer decided to no longer accept work on tile roofs. When I requested, they recommend a roofer for us, they recommended Cassady Roofing. I was told a long time ago that if a business's name includes the owner's name, it is most likely a good business. WOW!!! That is certainly true with Cassady Roofing. Chad showed up to estimate the job in record time. A few days later we received a professionally detailed quote, which we found quite reasonable. The crew arrived this morning as promised, & did an amazing job. Our previous roofer performed the repairs in the immediate area associated with the leak. The crew this morning removed all of the tiles from the top of the roof to the eves, & centered on the leak in our entryway. We just had our entire roof replaced by Cassady and we're VERY pleased with the outcome. It looks FANTASTIC!! We initially signed their proposal back in November, but got hit with the rains before they could come out and do the work. Our job was pushed back a bit due to the weather and the didn't get to us until MARCH. Aside from that, Jim Cassady was very friendly and helpful. His crew worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. Some other roofing companies may offer tarping services for your garaged items, Cassady DOES NOT...so word to the wise, cover your stuff if they're re-roofing your garage! Prices are fair, and the professionalism of his team is un-paralleled. I have worked in the construction industry for 20 years, and I was very impressed with the entire Cassady Crew. Day 1: Crew arrives on time, and within 4 hours, they have 2 layers of roofing off my entire roof, cleaned up and loaded in the truck. Crew was very respectful to my property, and even took care to help me cover up my expensive band equipment in the garage so nothing fell on it. Day 2: Crew arrives on time, and quickly mobilized. They replaced all of my Rotten Eve boards and any damaged plywood. They were complete by 2:30 in the afternoon, and the roof looks beautiful. They called me back promptly from my request for contact. They came out quickly to give their bid. They emailed their proposal the following day (compared to the guy that just threw out a big number and never put anything in writing.) They even answered all of my follow up questions! They had been recommended to me by two people and while I ultimately went with someone who was available sooner (which was appealing with another dump of rain coming) I'll always wish that I'd had the time to wait and have Cassady roofing come to re-roof my garage. In the future, when I need to do the whole rest of the house, they'll be the first one I'll call! Don't hesitate to have them out. read more

Nope, not a satisfied customer. During tear out the A/C electric wire was nicked and a fuse blown. I was responsible for finding a repair person and paid out of my pocket the repair. The electrician said it needed to be wired properly, but Cassady roofing was on a time crunch. To date the issue has not been resolved. Vents were closed up & rerouted at my additional cost. I was charged an additional $100 for the city permit, than what Cassady roofing paid. We have a pool with small children running around. Metal shards of the flashing were left laying around by the pool. One of the kiddos cut her foot. I trusted they had done a proper look at the trash, my mistake! With the original bid, and the extras, it was terribly expensive. I'm having a difficult time writing the final check. $27,000 for approximately 1750 sq ft On the positive side, the roof looks good. First off, they put a hole in my umbrella. I called to get it resolved and then they put in 2 more smaller holes the next day. I've called to get it resolved and they refuse to do anything about the umbrella that I now need to replace. They cleared out the roof the first day and then left the cutaway for the heating unit open and exposed to the elements for a few days. They tapped into my electricity, without my permission, to power all their tools for my complex. Lastly, when they left, they didn't clean up all the crap they left in my yard. Well, a completely new roof went up in September and last Wednesday's storm proved the quality of the work. That's right. NO quality. We heard what sounded like trickling of the rain in between the walls and ceiling; unfortunately, our suspicions were correct as just then water poured right through the socket of the recessed lighting, eventually slowing down to a steady drip by the next morning. They weren't willing to come out to do anything so we went and bought a bucket from the local hardware shop and went to bed with the wonderful sound of water quickly dripping into the bucket. It filled up pretty much. The next morning the company sent a man out to look to see where the leak was but no call from a rep to let us know how they intended on repairing the damage. Thursday morning found that the carpet along the wall dividing the master bedroom and the closet . The dividing wall must have had rain leak in between. An email went out, but nothing. Despite the towels and such laid out, the carpet is still wet. Some damage to books, etc. on the floor but mostly the carpet is squishy. Another email went out - no response. Fri morning "Chad" called once and left a message. Sat has come and gone and no concern from these unprofessionals. Now the floor of the upstairs room is creaking now, so there must be floor damage. Guess it's time to pack up those two rooms as things are going to have to get torn out to repair the damage and prevent mold. DON'T use these guys. They really don't care about the customers. It will be interesting to see how this unfolds. So far I have much cause to be concerned but I would love to be wrong. read more

I hired Cassady Roofing to do a hot mop on my flat roof about 2-3 years ago. Up until just a few months ago I noticed water leakage in 2 of my bedrroms when we had rain for a few days. I had my roof done by Cassady Roofing last year and they left a mess. I had just had my driveway and patio poured with new cement and they left asphalt all over my Spa deck, driveway and patio. I called and one of the Cassady's came out and surveyed the mess and tried to clean up (quite unsuccessfully). The spa cover literally looked worse when he was done that when he started. As of now I have had to replace my spa deck and my spa cover. (Which cost more than the roofing) After several months and an endless battery of excuses, Cassady finally came to the table and offered a small sum of money (not even covering the cost and shipping on the spa cover). I never cashed the check. Now I have gravel coming off of the roof any time there is wind or rain. I called Friday, spoke with a receptionist about getting an estimate on my roof because it's leaking. She informed me she would send out a technician on Monday and they would call prior to arrival I called today Monday she said well we're too busy put me on hold, put the owner on the phone who then told me that she never said they would send someone out today, which is a lie and I told him so, he informed me quit rudely that they have "thousands" of leak calls because of the rain and maybe they could get to me next week when I told him I'm well aware of the rain because my roof is leaking. His response was oh well if I want us you wait in line. So I called him a not so nice name which I can't put on here. I do not dispute what I called him because of his sanctimonious attitude extreme rudeness it was more than warranted. So if your looking for a new roof don't call them, unless you want to be spoken to like you are an idiot and your wasting their time. Jim Cassady, you are an honest man and it shows ! About 5 years ago Jim, you and your son Chad came out and gave me a bid to re-roof my home. The bid was not the highest and certainly not the lowest, (I did not trust this lowest bid), and you came highly recommended from a long-time Whittier resident that had used your company previously. Well, the contract was simple and easy to read,(no small print), and had 3 options. I selected and signed the option that my home needed. Three days later your crew was in front of my house and started on time. They worked a long day, and half of the next day. The were neat and clean. I watched them do the work for a while, and the foreman even asked me if I wanted to come up and see the quality of their work. I declined,(for fear of heights). Well, this job has been done for the last 4 winters, and although we are in a drought, we have had a few really hard downpours, with not even the hint of a leak. Several years when I bought my home I had Cassady Roofing come to do replace the roof. Under contract they were working on skylight and Velux Slylights came out to install the the Sky light however Cassady Roofing were also there to ensure that the roof would be taken care of. I was at work at the time and had my Skylight that had a feature to be prop open and through the inside of my atrium there was a long stick to open reach and open the skylight. Cassady Roofing took my skylight with out my authority and the stick that opened the skylight was against the wall inside my atrium. When I came home I saw the skylight and the stick to prop open my skylight gone. I called their office and asked them for the skylight - Cassady informed me they through it away. I never authorized it and why would they even reach in my atrium to take the skylight - I paid over $1000 dollars for it and it was never returned. How can one trust a company who takes it upon themselves to take the skylight that does not belong to them. Then they came out to fix my leak under warranty in my kitchen and did a mickey mouse job of putting a metal bar across where the water leak was to direct the water down the drain. They never open the roof to see the damage that the water had caused they just covered it up and since I was not home to supervise I TUSTED THEY WOULD DO THE CORRECT THING. Years later I had a leak in the same area and went to supervise it (different roofing company) hey showed me the metal bar that was installed and open the roof and all the wood underneath was rotted. It is amazing that this company is still in business after STILLING MY SKYLIGHT AND THE MICKEY MOUSE JOB IN MY KITCHEN. read more

They did my roof in Jul 2017...I signed a contract with them, but without telling me they hired another roofing company to tear off the old roof. The other company damaged my skylight almost ripping it off the roof and damaging the inside framing. Broken vent pipes and stucco on the exterior of the house...and a bay window (twice!). They hired another vendor to do the repairs and didn't pay the tear off sub-contractor, who then filed a lien against me. He said he would take care of it, but never did. His contract with me says he has insurance for any damage to the house, but instead of putting in a claim to pay for it...he's trying to get me to file a claim against the sub-contractors bond. This has been going on for 8 months now. The funniest, most ironic thing is that I recommended him to my neighbor before this went wrong and he did their roof too! Incredible to me that he won't do the right thing to repair the damage or file a claim with his Insurance company, which is mentioned in his contract. Now I have wasted a lot of time and will waste more making this right in court against both of these vendors. read more
