Adele was such a great listener and support to us sleep-deprived and desperate parents, and both times she felt we were on the right track (she was right) and very kindly did not charge or offer her services as she did not think we needed them. She has great integrity and truly cares about helping people rather than trying to force a program. We will be keeping her in mind in the future should we face other sleep issues - she's great!

Sleep training can be such a difficult and emotional process, especially when hearing your baby cry, but Adele's gentle and supportive method made all the difference. Unlike other consultants I looked into, who were strict in their "cry-it-out" approach, Adele was caring, patient, and truly invested in our success. From night one, my baby was sleeping through the night! We only had to give a few bottles before he naturally weaned himself, and as a huge bonus, we also managed to say goodbye to the binky! Thanks to Adele's method, which worked perfectly for us, he is now an amazing sleeper--and in turn, our whole family is finally getting the rest we desperately needed. We are all so much happier! What I loved most about working with Adele was how attentive and responsive she was. She truly understood how much we were struggling, and it was clear that she genuinely wanted to help. She was always quick to answer emails, calls, and texts, making us feel supported every step of the way. Each sleep plan she provided was well-organized, easy to follow, and set us up for long-term success. Even now, I feel confident handling any future sleep challenges because of everything she taught us. I've already recommended Adele to several friends and will recommend her to anyone else who finds themselves in a situation where they need a sleep consultant. Adele completely transformed our little guy's sleep, and I know so many other families could benefit from her expertise. Adele saved our sanity and gave us our lives back. Now, instead of taking shifts for naps, we can actually enjoy our days together as a family. If you're struggling with sleep, don't hesitate--Adele is the best!"

Our 3-year-old son's bedtime drama was causing us to be very overtired (ever since he graduated from a crib to a bed around age 2), and we got practical, insightful, and compassionate advice that so far is working well for him and for us. We were referred to Symbio by my sister-in-law and a pediatrician / mom at my son's preschool, both who've had success with the sleep consultations for their own kids. I'd recommend this to any parent who is struggling with sleep issues for their kids - and do it sooner than we did. Symbio offers counseling and classes by two specialists in infant and toddler mental health with backgrounds in child development and family psychology.

I had read all the sleep books, trust me, and I was at my wits end about how to help my son, who…read morewas 18 months at the time, to sleep through the night. The books made it sound so easy and I felt foolish for not being able to coax him into a full nights sleep. At the time we contacted Noelle, my son was waking in the night at 3 am, and staying up sometimes as long as 3 hours before going back to sleep. It seemed like no matter what we did, at 3 am, he was up and ready to play. \I met Noelle in her office and my husband called us and she interviewed us on what the current situation was and what we wanted to achieve. I really appreciated how well she was really listening to me. I told her I wasn't comfortable with the "Cry it Out" philosophy and was hoping she'd have some ideas. She took everything we said into account and came up with a plan, well more specifically for us what our next step would be. We implemented that step and then called her for the next step and so on until we got the final result. I'll add that our son was climbing out of his crib at 16 months so we had to figure out a plan with him not being in a crib, but rather just being in his room for bedtime. I imagine she might work differently with each family, but for me, I needed the step at a time approach. It was so valuable to me to have someone to speak to about each step and to have her support throughout the process. Our son is pretty strong willed, and me, not so much, but sure enough, with her guidance and some patience we have gotten to the point where James is sleeping through the night on his own. So in summary - if the books aren't working and you're at your wits end, consider getting some help. Noelle was so caring and compassionate and helped us get to where we are today, with full nights of sleep, glorious sleep!

She rescued us from several months of severe sleep deprivation. I was hesitant to do sleep training, but she created an approach that worked for us. She has an extremely intuitive sense of what different babies need and she tweaked our approach (how we went in to soothe, and how often) as we went, based on my baby's reaction. She also gave us a very clear plan and next steps to take on our own. By the second night, my baby slept soundly and only woke up once. Also: Before we did the sleep training, she supported us as a night doula while my son was going through some GI challenges. I thought he would react negatively to a night doula at his age and with his tummy issues, but he was completely calm and soothed by Margo's presence. She also helped me up my milk supply. She was with our newborn right after we were discharged from the hospital, extremely caring and tender, super helpful to me as a first-time mom, and taught us everything about the baby, so we were confident that we had it covered. Her help was integral in upping my milk supply; she would help me with breast massages at night pumps, create schedules and suggestions on how to further increase it, and, needless to say, I developed an incredible milk supply that could feed two (!) babies (no joke, as my milk stash is huge). When we hit the four-month regression, we came back to her for advice on sleep training. She guided us through daytime schedule changes, and our baby started sleeping and increasing sleep time right away. She definitely knows what she is doing, and I highly recommend her services to all, especially first-time parents. Thank you, Margo, for your care with our baby, Winston!

For starters, getting anyone on the phone was nearly impossible. Voicemails were never returned and emails required multiple attempts before receiving any response. When we had no other option but to show up in person, the experience was far from welcoming. Throughout my father's entire time as her patient, Dr. Bigelow never once saw him in person. Not once. For a patient with a serious pulmonary condition, that level of detachment is alarming. To make matters worse, she joined a scheduled Zoom appointment over an hour late with zero acknowledgment. My father's health is not something we take lightly. We have since moved on to a new pulmonologist who actually communicates, shows up, and treats his patients like they matter. Everything the negative reviews said about this practice was unfortunately true. Save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

Beware of online myofunctional therapy info - as it isn't individualized!…read more I am so happy to know about Myofunctional Therapy with Carly. I have sleep apnea and I have learned how important it is to have an actual skilled therapist, with many years of experience, in this fairly new and upcoming therapy. Before seeing Carly, I had diligently been doing exercises with a snoring app. As I was doing them I was constantly wondering if I was doing them correctly. I decided to try a myofascial therapist and found Carly and I am so glad that I did. I have learned that some exercises on the app that I was doing actually were not appropriate for my level and others I was just not doing correctly. She does a complete initial face, mouth, tongue and throat assessment to figure out what muscles are not working and then customizes the exercises accordingly. There is time in each session with her to see my progress, to make sure I am performing the exercises correctly and then to add in new ones as I progress. I feel I have a mapped out plan now with an expert guiding my way and that gives me peace of mind and hope that I will be able to not only improve my sleep apnea but likely my health in general. She has a special ability to give you verbal cues to help you understand the goal of the exercise as well as a warm nurturing way to get you to relax while trying it. Along with being a delight to work with, Carly is considered a "Master" in her field and sees patients virtually and in-person with grand results. She gives individualized homework and personalized therapy exercises - something you will never get from an online search. Her experience and education sets her way ahead of many other practitioners, that seem to have only taken a weekend course. Apparently, she holds a 2-year Board Certification and had an additional 2-year course study in the Cranial Nerves. She is the only OMT I could find that has worked in a sleep apnea clinic and she was there for over five years.

She started right on the day after delivery while we were still at the hospital. This was incredibly helpful because it allowed my partner to focus on caring for our toddler while I recovered from my C-section and bonded with our newborn. Mary Ann was exceptional in every aspect of newborn and postpartum care. With her background as RN and an experienced nanny, she confidently took charge from day one. She handled everything--from swaddling and keeping the baby on a feeding schedule to making sure I stayed on track with pumping. She always had my pump parts cleaned, sterilized, and ready to use, which made those early weeks so much easier. She also gave me invaluable breastfeeding support. Thanks to her guidance, I established a full milk supply within just three days of my C-section, and I'm still successfully breastfeeding. She also referred us to an amazing lactation consultant who was an absolute game changer. Mary Ann was meticulous about everything baby-related and followed best practices in every detail. Her logging and tracking were incredibly thorough, giving us complete peace of mind. She was professional, respectful, organized, and kept everything spotless. The greatest gift she gave our family was rest. There were moments when it almost felt unreal how much recovery time my partner and I were able to get because we trusted her completely. She would even bring me a glass of iced water wherever I was--a small act of kindness that made a huge difference in my recovery. Because she took care of so much, I was able to focus on postpartum healing and even carve out time for simple self-care, like getting a haircut. Although her primary responsibility was caring for our newborn, she also formed a wonderful bond with our toddler and always made him feel included. She consistently went above and beyond by helping keep our home clean, making countless trips up and down the stairs without ever complaining, and never leaving before everything was tidied up--even if it meant staying a little past the end of her shift. We're incredibly grateful to Doulas by the Bay for matching us with someone who fit our family so perfectly. The agency made the process smooth, and Mary Ann exceeded every expectation we had. We wholeheartedly recommend Doulas by the Bay to any family looking for expert postpartum support. Doulas through this company are employees (not independent providers) and they stress that this is really good for always having a backup. We were then matched with 2 doula candidates and the scheduling process was easy and professional. However, we ultimately felt that these candidates were not properly trained or vetted. We never received any materials such as CVs for the doulas. The first doula said right away that she had never been a birth doula before and we would be her first birth. Her only experience was that she had been a night doula before. I was shocked that she had never even shadowed another birth doula as part of her training as a company employee. Bless her heart for being honest, but I did not want to pay to be her guinea pig. After this, I requested an additional candidate, but I was told the other one should be great. The second doula was also not a good fit. She kept emphasizing that at previous births hospital staff did not believe she was a birth doula (and thought she was just a family friend). It became clear why. I asked about her qualifications and she said she's working on her bachelor's degree even though she already has a master's degree. I thought this was strange and asked some follow up questions and ultimately could not determine what degree she had (maybe an associate's degree) or didn't have (definitely did not already have a master's). I also asked some basic medical questions about pain control and epidurals and she was not able to answer them. Ultimately we were able to find a wonderful birth doula through another matching company - experienced and with a real master's degree (in public health).
