In August 2025, I signed a contract with Generator Supercenter in Homewood, Alabama and paid the…read morerequired $4,350 deposit. After the payment was collected, all communication stopped. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company, I received no meaningful response or progress on the project. During my efforts to resolve the issue, I discovered that this was not an isolated incident. I became aware of more than 30 other homeowners who reported experiencing similar situations with this location. I escalated the matter to the parent company in Tomball, Texas. Initially, they acknowledged the situation and indicated they would honor or address my deposit. However, after several weeks of communication, they stopped responding entirely, and I have not received any resolution. As of May 2026, nearly nine months later, I do not have a generator, and my deposit has not been recovered. I also contacted Generac, the equipment manufacturer, to seek assistance. They stated they were unable to intervene in disputes with independent dealers and did not offer a path toward resolution. This has been a very costly and frustrating experience. I strongly encourage others to fully vet both the dealer and the contract terms before making any upfront payment.

I call back and they tell me it could take until the next morning for the unit to "catch up and get back on track"! So we call a friend of a friend who came right over and discovered the wires on the capacitor were installed incorrectly, and ALSO the wires on the upstairs unit was tampered with, crossed, which made that unit inoperable. They had no reason to touch that unit as it WAS working. I believe Aire Serv wanted to come back the next day only to sell more services.
