Cast Members and thier guests only! This is an exclusive discount store for cast members to pick up older items that could not sell in the stores across WDW as well as second hand furniture, and decoration items that was once used throughout the back of the house locations (office). In the very back, there are food items available from produce to frozen items and milk. The staff there seems to be always bringing out new things and placing them on shelves. It appears that once all the items are sold, they may not be replaced so if there's something that you want, you might as well get it. Finally, there's a lot of things you can't buy in displays throughout the store, which is part of the history if Walt Disney World.

As we currently have a family member who works for Disney we had the opportunity to go once again to Cast Connection. It has been a long time since we were here and they're actually in a different location now. They do have a lot to choose from in this space. If you work for Disney or you're lucky enough to be family to someone it can be very worthwhile to shop here. For those unaware they carry a lot of out-of-date products such as items from past holidays and I believe items that just weren't selling in the stores. Always an interesting selection of clothing and toys to choose from. They also have a selection of food products that changes regularly with really good pricing. On our trip there I found one item that I truly wanted and it was a set of four 500 piece Star wars puzzles in one box. The price was excellent and I love doing puzzles. I actually saw some really nice backpacks and a couple of hats that I liked as well. If I had room in my freezer I definitely would have picked up a couple of food items that were worthwhile.

MouseGear: where EPCOT's real ride was seeing how fast you could max out your credit card…read more MouseGear was EPCOT's gift shop on steroids -- a temple of merchandise that once stood as the beating heart of Future World until it closed in 2021 to make way for the shinier, sleeker Creations Shop. And honestly? It was glorious chaos while it lasted. History check: MouseGear opened in 1999, replacing Centorium (which was EPCOT's original mega-store since 1982). Where Centorium had the vibe of "futuristic department store," MouseGear leaned into "what if we crammed every Disney product ever made under one roof and threw some gears on the walls to make it look steampunk?" Walking into MouseGear felt like you'd entered the Costco of Disney merch. Mickey ears, spirit jerseys, pins, kitchenware, toys, Dooney & Bourke bags -- if it had a Disney logo, it was here. The place was huge, loud, and perpetually packed, like a holiday rush that never ended. And yet, it was also... magical. Because who doesn't want to impulse-buy a Figment mug at 9:00 a.m. after riding Spaceship Earth? I muttered something like, "It's consumerism run wild. But damn, they know how to sell it." And he'd be right -- this was Disney retail as an attraction in itself. Best thing? The pin trading and limited-edition drops. MouseGear was where you felt like an insider if you scored a rare pin or exclusive piece of merch. It was shopping, yes, but it also had that EPCOT sense of being part of something a little bigger -- part nostalgia, part future, all Disney. Bottom line: MouseGear may be gone, but it's still the stuff of EPCOT legend. Creations Shop is sleek and modern, but MouseGear was messy, loud, and unapologetically Disney -- and that's why people still talk about it.

They have toys that look like race cars that are styled to the right vehicle that you get in on test track and they even sell freeze-dried ice cream because that's what astronauts eat, and that's the type of item you should be eating while you're waiting in line for mission space. Mission space is an amazing ride as well! The cast members here are insanely nice and over-the-top helpful and will go out of their way to get any item that you may be looking for. They had a little bit of everything! They had some incredibly detailed princess dresses that had original price tags that read $300+ listed at 1/3 of the price! I did find a spirit shirt here for $30- I love it just as much as the $100 one I got inside the park. My husband had a field day on tshirts for himself. The parks have a way of making you feel you need it all- this store makes it possible to take a little more magic home. The selection was all over the place from last years items, home decor, lounge fly bags, cruise items, and designer items. When we vacation here again this will definitely be one of our stops! Which makes sense given some of the deals that can be had here for merch direct from Disney. Obviously some of the stuff is going to be here for a reason like any other outlet. But we were able to score some nice clothing at cheap prices that sold out in reasonable sizes after we left. My brother was able to score a nice lightsaber that's usually sold in Galaxy's Edge for half off. If we had luggage space, I would have bought a Mando helmet for half off. My wife was able to score an Aulani bucket hat she lost on our last Hawaii trip for $7! Score! Overall, worth the trip if you have time. Especially if you are open minded and looking for a good deal.

The place was very clean but you could definitely tell that some of the items they are selling here came directly from deadstock warehouses because a few of those things were dusty. You can also tell it is very dated items because they had many things that went all the way back to high school musical and High School Musical 2 movies that came out over 10 years ago now! I enjoyed that they sold many different things like coffee mugs, keychains and even close! A few other shirts were very cute but nothing was in my size that I wanted unfortunately. Visted the store after hearing all the hype online about deals etc and was appalled by what I witnessed. What should be a shopping experience aligned with Disney's typical guest experiences is in reality an auction and shopping hoard that is not discouraged at all by the store. The store had numerous whatnot sellers and live auctioneers conducting live auctions for store merchandise they had not yet purchased. To put this into context, these sellers DO NOT own the items they are auctioning, they are running live auctions that store customers were appearing in without knowing, selling items from the racks that they hadn't purchased yet and interfering with other shoppers as they shopped. It makes you not want to shop there and just go online and attend their auctions instead because at least then you don't have them shoving you out of the way and grabbing things back from you as you shop. They were literally live streaming shelves, starting auctions for items for sale on the shelves and blocking shoppers from buying those items they were trying to auction despite not owning the items. They had carts filled with merchandise for their auctions. When the doors opened Sunday morning the whatnot sellers were all waiting first in line and clearly knew the staff, calling some by their first name, joking with them etc. As soon as they get into the store they grab everything off the shelves and stock pile the items in their carts, cutting off shoppers, families etc. In the rear corner of the store, two men stood "guarding" multiple carts overflowing with toys they hoarded off the shelves as guests tried to shop. They refused to give the items to shoppers and claimed they were buying them. All the while standing in the back corner with piles of items that in store shoppers wanted to buy, however the whatnot sellers grabbed everything to try to auction them off from inside the store. It was crazy. You had the option to wait for them to run their auctions and see if someone online wanted to buy the item and have a shot at them then deciding to "put it back" What a joke. The staff seem very well aware that this was going on and didn't want to acknowledge it when it was called out to them. Some of them clearly have a relationship with these people. I attempted to notify a manager on the floor who I saw people auctioning within her line of sight. I asked if she saw this happening and she gave a blank stare. I then asked if she knew what whatnot was thinking maybe she doesn't understand what's happening, but she said she knew what it was and didn't understand what the issue was. I explained that there were a group of men guarding carts full of merchandise they haven't bought in the back corner of the store while their partners ran live auctions in the store. The manager just stared at me. Im not sure if she was getting a cut of the action or what. It was bizarre. A quick search on Google showed this practice is not permitted, yet the store workers and managers did nothing to stop it and engaged with sellers who were in auctioning. I took numerous pictures and videos of this happening. Amazingly, the auctioning customers were fine to record and conduct their auctions, but I was given dirty looks for taking pictures documenting what was going on. I watched as a woman visiting from another country repeatedly attempted to buy a toy from the shelf only to have a seller tell her they are auctioning the item and to put it back on the shelf. The woman's child was clearly upset and the mom was upset by the situation. This was the nonsense that staff allowed to go on. I will not shop here again because of this practice. I don't care what discount they are running on old merchandise no one wanted. The way you treat customers whether in the park or in your bargain hut should be the same as both carry the "Disney" brand name. I don't know why a company would allow their brand to be devalued by this nonsense. I LOVED that the Nike outlet had a sign visible to all strictly prohibiting this practice, not allowing auctions in their store nor will they permit the return of items from the auctioneers, preventing item hoarding. THANK YOU NIKE AND SHAME ON YOU DISNEY CHARACTER OUTLET!
