If you are looking for a place for your child to have experience with on stage productions, you can't go wrong with Ms Jackie. I think she truly supports her casts, and also has very high expectations for her shows- there is dedication and work involved to be a part of Showtime. Ms Jackie will support them every step of the way! As our girls have gotten older, they have also been able to have the experience of working backstage and in the booth, which gives them other skills and a real appreciation for what it takes to make a production happen. Luckily, Creepy Hollow stays open a little after Halloween which worked out perfect for us! Creepy Hollow has been on my radar for awhile. I heard it was the scariest around so I had to check it out. I live in Pearland, so getting here was easy. I'm sure it's a drive for most people. We got there early so parking was a breeze, but they do have people directing traffic as it does get busy during the Halloween season. We came on a discount weekend so it was 5 dollars off the 40 dollar price rage. Kinda steep you say? I think it's fair since you get 3 attractions and entertainment all throughout the grounds. You can also pay extra for speed passes to skip lines. On top of that, you can also pay extra if you don't want the actors to touch you. Yes you read that right, they do touch. None of us paid for extras, and for the most part, the touching wasn't over the top. Some were a little much, but nothing inappropriate, just rough. The scare factor was definitely there in all the attractions. They did a great job with the set ups and themes of the different houses. I definitely had a few scream moments even though I was supposed to be protecting the gals. They also have shows, shops, entertainment and food throughout the property. Overall, my peeps and I had a blast and are planning on coming back next year for our spooky fix!

First of all, it's more like a Haunted House theme park as there are three main attractions: Scare Factory, Pitch Black (clown themed), and Dark Woods Swamp. There was also a mini dance room as well and random characters throughout the park whose goal was to put you on edge or simply make you gawk! I did zero research into this and thought it would just be a simple haunted house. I was very wrong! I can see why they call it the scariest in Texas as I thought the main attractions were well thought out with props, sounds, smells and of course the wonderful actors! One person in my party got abducted at one point! That really freaked me out lol. I recommend going early because the lines can get long. We were there for about 2.5 hours. Most impressive were the castle, mermaid, carriage and white crown. The alleyways with curved light features were very cute. I did not see the maze or space shuttle that were mentioned in other posts. It took us about 1 hour and 15 min to view all the lights. I got discounted tickets on Groupon before I got there.

we have attended magical winter lights for years now, and it truly gets better every year. the…read morechoice to move to the fort bend county fairgrounds in rosenberg was a good call. the venue is gigantic with plenting of parking, sooo many lights, a carnival, food and craft vendors, and acrobat performances. at ~$25 (cheaper on groupon), the entry fee is really worth the amount of attractions they offer, plenty entertaining for both adults and kids alike - the lights: very stunning and there are so many different themes. travel through an ice kingdom, stroll through dinosaurs, enter in outer space, and end up in the east! this year for the first time they have a cozy and festive mini train that takes you through the park for only $5. also don't miss the wishing tree and write your prayers and dreams to hang up for the new year :) - the acrobat performances: BESTTT part of the experience hands down. this alone is worth coming here for. these acrobats are insanely talented and showcase chinese culture so beautifully through classic stunts, beautiful clothing, traditional chinese dances, music choices, etc. the performances are different each year, but they last around 30-40 minutes and have 2 showings every night! - the vendors: i dont really care for them since they are overpriced (as expected), but its hard to resist a cup of hot chocolate or some elotes on a cold winter night. the crafts are pretty interesting and uniquely chinese, which is worth checking out at the very least. - the carnival: it seems like they just stuck this part on for people to do in case they are bored, but its nothing special. just an average carnival with typical games and pay-to-win prizes overall this is an amazing experience to get into the holiday season and in my honest opinion sooo much more worth than constellation field or surrounding light shows. some aspects of it definitely shine brighter than the others, but theres def plenty to do and see regardless!
