From the moment I stepped in I was automatically overwhelmed. The waiting room was extremely packed to a point where people were standing around. I arrived to my appointment on time and waited about 2 hours before finally being seen. My 3 daughters were seen one by one and each them were very nervous. They have always done fine during their regular dental cleanings and they were all crying after their cleaning was done. Then I spoke to the doctor about the xrays and was told 2 of my daughters have cavities that needed to be filled. I was told my oldest with the cavity didn't have the procedure covered by the insurance(odd) and I needed to pay close to $300. Then I was told my youngest daughter(3) needed to be put under general anesthesia at the hospital just to have her front tooth filled. Which I thought was very excessive. I proceeded to schedule my youngest appointment at the hospital even did all the necessary paper work and clearance forms. It was the day of the procedure At the hospital when I arrived at 6:00am only to be told that the dentist never submitted the authorization for the procedure. Fed up, I decided to switch dentist and get a second opinion. TURNS OUT my oldest daughter didn't have any cavities but the other place wanted to charge me almost $300 to get the "cavity" filled and my Youngest did not need to be put under general anesthesia for a minor filling.
