Although the entertainment was not needed for very long because there was no wait time! I appreciated the complimentary water after leaving mine in the car. From check-in to check-out, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and personable. The hygienist was amazing with my two year old son! She explained every step, sang to him, and made the entire experience fun while also providing me with helpful information. Dr. Stephanie was just as wonderful, taking the time to thoroughly explain everything with both knowledge and genuine care. The entire office was very clean and every staff member was approachable and welcoming. Such a positive experience for both of us!

This is our second visit with our 4 year old son and the experience has been beyond amazing. My son got a little scared getting x rays done for the first time but he managed in the end, partly because the whole office was supportive and rooting for him. I was so grateful. The office is spotless, convenient to get to with easy parking and elevator access and 100% directed towards the comfort of children and parents alike. I am so grateful to have found such great quality of care so close to home for those of us living in south dade. Highly recommend!

This Is THE Pediatric Dentist You've Been Looking For!…read more Where do I even begin?! Elite Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is hands down one of the best experiences I've ever had with my children when it comes to dental care. From the very first phone call to schedule an appointment, the customer service was excellent. Friendly staff, consistent reminders, and no stress. But what truly sets them apart is the moment you walk through the door. The waiting room is like something out of a kid's dream, perfectly done. There's a dollhouse, games like Connect 4, a coffee maker for parents, and even a photo op area with a swing and little doctor's white coats! And here's the best part: there's a welcome board on the counter, with the first names of the children coming in that day. My kids found their names right away and were absolutely thrilled -- it made them feel so special, like this was their place. Once inside, it just gets better. Kids get to choose fun sunglasses for the appointment. They offer flavored gel to make the experience more comfortable. Each chair has a TV on the ceiling and headphones, which completely distracts them (in the best way). After the visit, kids get a coin to use in gumball-style machines to grab a toy -- instant reward! And something I've never seen before -- they give you a small bag with lip balm to help with dry lips after the appointment. Such a thoughtful and practical touch! Both of my children usually have a lot of anxiety about dentist visits (and honestly, so do I), but not here. My daughter didn't even realize the procedure was happening -- she was so into the show playing on the ceiling! The hygienists were warm, patient, and incredibly kind. The dentist was thorough, informative, and truly took her time with us. And here's something exciting -- when I joked about how I wished they saw adults too, I was told they're opening a location for adults right in the same plaza! We're beyond happy we made the switch. My kids are actually excited to come back in six months, and that says everything. I texted my co-worker (who referred me) as soon as we walked out: "This place is AMAZING!" If you're looking for a pediatric dental home, stop searching -- this is it.

The doctor and her assistant were so patient and understanding as my daughter was very hesitant and scared; we were moved to a more enclosed, very cute room and she did better than expected there. They offer sunglasses, stickers, and motivational rewards for the kiddos which is so important. The office is clean, vibrant and kid-friendly. It made such a big difference and positive impact on our visit. I will continue to bring my daughter and next time, son, for his first visit. don't think twice about coming here

I am writing this review to share my personal experience at my son's dental appointment today, and…read moreI sincerely hope other parents read this before bringing their children here. Based on what happened, I personally would not recommend this facility for pediatric care. My son is three years old, freshly three, and this was his first visit with this particular doctor (a white male with medium-length light brown hair). From the moment he came in, I felt he lacked warmth, patience, or any effort to build trust with my child. If you work with children--especially toddlers--your priority should be helping them feel safe. That never happened today. I explained that the previous dentist in the same office had advised against fluoride treatment for now because my son can't spit well yet. The doctor responded in a way that made me feel like he thought I was lying, saying something like, "I've never heard him say no to fluoride for any kids." It was dismissive, unprofessional, and set the tone for everything that followed. The worst part of the appointment--what truly left me shaken--was how physically forceful he and the assistant were with my son. This is my experience, but it genuinely felt aggressive and insensitive. My son is not a misbehaved child; he just gets scared when he feels pressured. Instead of trying to comfort him or gain his trust, they pushed forward with the exam while he was clearly terrified. And I want to make this very clear: I was not just standing there watching. I was underneath my son, physically holding him. I was alone--no partner, no extra hands, no emotional support--just me trying to keep my child calm while two adults leaned over both of us. I think I went into a state of shock. I kept thinking, Is this really happening? My maternal instinct was screaming, but the situation escalated so fast, and I felt trapped with two people on top of us pushing forward with the procedure. Near the end, the doctor leaned over to grab a tool from the tray, and from my perspective, he put a significant amount of his body weight onto my son's head. My son is three. That level of force on such a tiny child was horrifying to witness, especially from a professional who should know better. Then he actually yelled at my son to "stop." Yelling at a terrified toddler during his first dental experience is unacceptable. That's when I said, "Okay, we're done." He replied, "Yeah, we're done," and then he turned to me and said something that stunned and offended me: that I needed to "reinforce bad behavior." He doesn't know my son. He doesn't know how I parent. To say something so judgmental, while we were still trying to process what had just happened, was completely out of line. When the appointment ended, I walked out shaking. My son was crying. I was crying. I called the office immediately to file a complaint. I felt violated as a parent, and I felt like my son had been violated as a patient. The force used, in my experience, was absolutely inappropriate for a three-year-old and could have caused harm physically or emotionally. My son's first dental experience should not have involved being held down, pressured, yelled at, and having metal tools forced into his mouth while two adults leaned over us. No child deserves that. No parent should have to go through that alone. For these reasons, I personally cannot recommend this office for pediatric dental care. My experience was traumatic, and other parents deserve to be warned.

I switched to this dentist since it was so close to my house. Everyone was cordial, friendly and…read moreprofessional. My dental hygienist Jianhara, went over the results with me, and clearly explained every step she was doing to my mouth. It was my first visit and I had a wonderful experience.
