My mom sees Dr. Kani frequently and just recently, I had a vein procedure done here. Each time my…read moremom or I have an appointment, we never had to wait more than 15 minutes. The front desk personal are always professional and the waiting area always clean with plenty seating. Dr. Kani is very nice and patient when it comes to helping my mother with all of her heart/artery problems. The only problem I have with doctors in general, this statement is not limited to Dr. Kani only, is that when it was time for my vein procedure, he tells me that it's not going to hurt, that I would barely feel anything! Wrong!!! I'm not sure why they make this statement when they have never been through the procedure themselves. Not to mention, my tolerance for pain is different from others so why not just say, a certain percentage had pain, this percentage did not feel pain. ‍ Having said that, you better believe when it's time to have my right leg done, they will not touch me unless they give me a Valium or ???? Lol. So to end on a good note, Dr. Kani and his staff are great! If my 84 year old mother loves them, so do I!

The medical professional working with me, had a sharps container that did not have a lid on it and was very very full to the point of hazard. 2. The professional working with me, dropped a pen inside of the open sharps container that did not have a lid on it. She reached and grabbed the pen out of the sharps container and set it on a " sterile tray" that was holding all of the equipment and supplies for the procedure I was about to have done. 3. The professionals were giving allergy shots through a window that was between a treatment room and the waiting room. They frequently were leaving vials and syringes preloaded and unattended within reach of all people in the waiting room. 4. The professionals left their computers unattended with personal medical information breaking HIPAA. The computer screens did not have privacy screens on them and were left in view of people in the waiting room. 5. The medical professionals were asking medically sensitive questions inside of a patient room that led into the waiting room (previously stated open window leading to the waiting room), which is also in violation of HIPAA. 6. After they performed the allergen pricks, they would send you back to the waiting room -- not supervising you to see if you have an allergic reaction. This is extremely unsafe in the instance that someone does have a severe allergic reaction that is not caught in time.
