My brother was admitted for care and, within hours, was left in respiratory distress without timely suctioning, and his feeding tube was not even connected, leaving him without nutrition for an extended period. Despite repeated requests, staff response was delayed and inconsistent. Throughout his stay, we experienced ongoing issues with call lights going unanswered, lack of basic hygiene care, and unprofessional, dismissive communication from staff. On one occasion, a staff member spoke to him in a demeaning manner rather than addressing his concerns. Most concerning was the lack of urgency during a medical emergency. When he experienced severe respiratory distress, staff response was delayed, and emergency services were only called after persistent family advocacy. He was later hospitalized, where the findings indicated a severe case of pneumonia. No family should have to repeatedly advocate just to ensure basic, timely care for their loved one. This experience raised serious concerns about patient safety, responsiveness, and overall quality of care. I hope the facility takes meaningful corrective action to prevent this from happening to others.

Effective communication with McIver Clinic is very difficult. Months ago, I hand-delivered two…read moreforms to their office and haven't heard back from them. The latest form, which I delivered over three months ago, was a Prior Authorization request from my prescription insurance, and even though I talked with my Doctor about it a couple of weeks ago during my semi-annual visit, and he wrote a new prescription, the insurance is still waiting for Prior Authorization and won't fill my prescription until they hear from him. Also, McIver uses the "Follow My Health" app, but the app doesn't recognize McIver as even existing. I use that app for some of my other providers with success. It doesn't matter if I call, leave a message, fax or visit in person; there is never one word of response. I'm pretty meticulous when it comes to following directions, using apps, and record keeping, but after spending weeks between McIver, the pharmacy, and the insurance, I'm resorting to this review, for whatever good it may do.

I was also made aware of the longer wait by the front desk, so I knew going in it would be a little bit. When I did get in, Nikki came in to take my vitals, she was very personable and seemed very knowledgable. I did end up getting a shot for my condition and she made it painless. I saw Brittany and she was also fantastic. She seems to genuinely care and take her work seriously. She was kind and attentive. I was offered 3 options in-office, which is more than I've been offered at other urgent cares and offered a referral to an othro. They did great. To me, waiting a little bit longer, especially a walk-in is worthwhile when you're receiving quality care.

They were extremely sympathetic. I was dehydrated and could barely catch my breath or stand. This place was so very attentive. I was so thankful. Three hours later I was comfortable driving myself home. I cannot thank these guys enough. This was this past Saturday night/Sunday morning. I will have no qualms about going here again if need be.
