Reviewed some Lennar homes in FL. Found the floor plans to be quite good but the exterior designs…read morelook like government projects. No architectural detail on these homes. These homes are mass produced like an assembly line. No interior customization is offered. All the homes have the same flooring, padding, carpeting, tile, cabinets, lighting, etc. Considering all of this, including the overly inflated pricing, we were put off. Home shoppers beware

If I could give no stars I would. Buyer beware do NOT buy a Lennar home. They throw these homes…read moretogether and pay no attention to workmanship and make horrible mistakes. Don't fall for their so called "warranty" either as they do not honor their warranty. I've had two major issues with this home and they did nothing about either one. Most recent I have a leaking window on the second story that has had a window inspection with caulking, then roof inspection and then hurricane shutters company inspection all this and they say "After investigation of the source of the leak from your second story window it has been determined that this is a homeowner maintenance issue. After having the window company, roofers, quality assurance manager to look at stucco and paint, and the painter and also due to the age of your home this is something that will not be covered under the lennar 1-2-10 warranty. If you have any questions please let me know. I wanted to make sure I did everything in my power to see if there was something I could do for you". I have had four other new homes built (by reputable companies) and never once have I ever had leaking second story window. I guarantee that this is a builder issue. They didn't even bother to open up the interior wall to actually investigate where the leak is coming from before they determined that it is "homeowner maintenance" issue. This just shows that they are trying to place the blame without even knowing where the actual leak is coming from just so they don't have to pay to fix their sub par workmanship. If you ever see a Lennar builder sign drive away as fast as you can. The first problem I had with this 2017 Lennar home was I walked into my dining room to find a puddle of water. I had to call a plumber and they had to open the ceiling and walls on first and second floors to find the leak and it was a PVC pipe (that I still have as evidence along with plumbers and water mitigation companies reports) and it turns out it was a screw in between the first and second floor that was screwed by mistake into the PVC pipe by the builder. The screw at first plugged the pipe but after two years the screw rusted and fell out leaving the hole for water to start leaking before long it leaked all India's the walls eventually ending up coming out into the dining room. I had to put a claim on my homeowners insurance for $15,000 and pay a $2500 deductible out of my pocket. This is the kind of builder that Lennar is. They take your money but take no responsibility for their horrible Workmanship and do not honor their warranty.
