He was very apologetic for the manner in which the office staff heckled me without the roof inspection for their check. I did not go through a roofers claim and had already paid them a deposit via check without incident this is my first home, and everything what disorganized, not explained clearly, and when things were it was usually by people who clearly arent thrilled by their jobs (as if they are the ones paying for the roof). The roofers completed the job in a day. Despite tornado watch and rain conditions, chimney was successfully completely in a day. The director of operations Samantha K. And her subordinate Jenna, and their attitudes, were absolutely horrendous to deal with-- arrogant, bad tone, and aggressive. Now I see what the previous clients meant by their unprofessionalism, entitlement, and callous demeanor as a result, I wouldn't recommend this company to a dog flea, and would encourage others to not only get quotes from other companies, but to read all of the numerous negative reviews they have received across multiple platforms. Their site manager Jacob, was nice but lost in the sauce. After letting Samantha know Jacob had never sent the photos or reached out she insinuated I might have had his number blocked which was totally false since I have an open line of communication not only for the roofing team but also for other contractos (unrelated) doing upgrades on my home, she covered for the poor behaviors of both parties, and Jenna's terrible disposition, until she finally ran out of excuses, relented, and gave a real pathetic apology. moment she answered the phone. Her tone was dismissive, impatient, and honestly made it seem like customers were an inconvenience. All in all If this is how they treat PAYING customers I can only imagine how problems are handled after payment is made. Customer service reflects the company as a whole, and this interaction with these two women was enough for me to take my business elsewhere and ensure than any of my friends, family members, colleagues, strangers and literally anyone knows I would not recommend dealing with a company that allows this level of disrespect toward customers.

BEWARE OF JAC BUILDERS ROOFING After Hurricane Milton, I…read morehired JAC Builders Roofing to replace my roof. They quoted me $28,700, and completed the job in February 2025. From the ground, everything looked fine... until I had to climb up in July to clean out the gutters near my pool cage. That's when I discovered something shocking: They only did part of my roof. The section over the pool lanai -- which is fully attached to the house -- was completely untouched. Even worse, my old roof is tan and the new roof is black, making it painfully obvious once you're up there. How do you "replace a roof" and leave part of it off -- without telling the homeowner? ________________________________________ More Issues I Found: * While installing the new drip edge, they cut slits down the backside of the gutters, almost to the bottom of my gutters in 4 different places. * In one section, they nailed the gutter through the drip edge 3 times -- leaving two exposed holes. * Their "solution"? Someone came out and smeared caulk in the slits. That's it. The Response (Or Lack of One): I contacted Chris, the person who gave me the estimate. He tried blaming the insurance company. But let's be clear: JAC gave me the estimate (Nowhere mentioning flat section was excluded). My insurance paid the estimate -- in full. In fact, they paid $37,240, including $8,540 for two tarps that I never got to keep and my deductible. When I sent a detailed letter directly to the owner, Joshua Colon, I received no response at all. My Take: As a homeowner with no background in roofing, when I'm quoted for a full roof replacement, I expect the whole roof -- not just the parts they feel like doing. To say I'm disappointed is an understatement. To say I feel misled is more accurate. Final Word: In my opinion, JAC Builders Roofing is dishonest, unprofessional, and lacks accountability. I urge fellow homeowners to think twice -- or better yet, run -- before trusting this company with your home. Don't let what happened to me happen to you.

They did a hack job and it should of been a red flag when it didn't pass inspection by the city the first time but we believed John and his contractor mike were good people and trusted they would keep there word. The project did not start until June 5, 2026, and Pierre R., my original sales contact and assigned project manager, later stated that PSLD marked the roof as "completed" in July. The project involved multiple crews, delays, damage to the aluminum roof structure, and ongoing concerns with workmanship and quality control. The job site was repeatedly left with nails, screws, metal scraps, wood, and other debris despite repeated requests for cleanup. Although PSLD considers the roof complete, I do not believe the finished product reflects the level of workmanship or professional finish that was promised or contracted. My concerns extend beyond appearance to the overall quality of the installation. When I attempted to escalate my concerns, I was told there was no one else at PSLD I could speak with. Pierre stated he was not the owner and did not know who the owner was. I was also not provided with a clear company contact or process for administering the 12-year warranty if he were no longer with the company. Pierre also offered to reimburse his 8% commission on the project as a goodwill gesture. However, as of the date of this review, I have not yet received the reimbursement. While Pierre repeatedly stated he would "fix it" and "make it right," my experience was that the project lacked the oversight, quality control, and resolution I expected from a professional roofing company. A roofing project is a significant investment. Based on the workmanship concerns, project management issues, communication challenges, and lack of a clear escalation process, I would not recommend PSLD Roofing to my friends or family.
