I'm not in construction, but am a better contractor than he is!! The price quoted seemed reasonable but the responsiveness and service provided was atrocious! I realize there is lead time in ordering materials, but had I not continued to hound Marlon I don't think the job would have ever happened! When the job did occur, it was all screwed up! We were getting replacement French Doors installed. First of all, we had to provide final payment before Marlon would allow his guys to even start the job. The check I gave Marlon was cashed before the guys were even done. We both work from home, so I guess we should've supervised the job, but we were paying for the job so we shouldn't have to supervise it, right? Well, the guys leave and then we check out the doors to find out they were installed backwards. Swing-out doors with internal blinds were installed as swing-in doors so the blind controls ended up on the outside of the house! After about three weeks of hounding, Marlon, he finally sent his guys back out to check it out. Did they fix the doors? NO!! They continued to insist that they were installed correctly and left. I ended up having to hire somebody else to turn the doors around and pay them to do it so now the reasonable quote was no longer reasonable! I told Marlon about it, and he promised he would repay me for the door re-install. After 2 months of asking and reminding him he never did so here is his review. Never ever hire Tricolor Flooring or you may end up with Marlon and you will regret it.

After paying a 50% deposit on July 10, I was told I would be scheduled immediately. That didn't happen. I had to follow up multiple times just to get a start date. Communication was poor and unprofessional, with broken promises and missed callbacks. The crew finally arrived on July 29. The tile was installed with an extremely thin grout line--something I was never asked to approve but chose to accept. They said they would return the next day to grout and then come back the following day to move the heavy furniture back, which was the agreement I had in place with their representative. Instead, they grouted the next day and replaced the furniture less than an hour later, ignoring the recommended 24-hour grout curing time. When I called the project manager, his dismissive response was, "What do you want them to do?" The crew came back to remove the furniture, clearly annoyed, and became argumentative and disrespectful in my home. One even said they used a thin grout line specifically so they could move the furniture sooner. Later, I was contacted by someone in management, Jonny Sibrian, whose tone was equally rude and condescending. I explained I was arranging a third-party inspection to ensure the tile wasn't damaged due to rushed furniture placement or the use of vinegar (an acidic cleaner that can harm uncured grout). Instead of understanding, he accused me--twice--of trying to avoid paying my bill and even made a veiled threat. I've always paid for quality work, and I fully intend to pay the balance if the job passes inspection. But the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disrespect I experienced with this company were unacceptable. I would not recommend Perfect Choice Flooring to others based on how I was treated or the quality of their work.

Wonderful!! My…read morehusband and I had purchased flooring from another store and ended up short by 2 boxes. They of course discontinued the flooring so I was on a hunt for anything close. As soon as I walked in I was asked if I needed help and I showed my piece of flooring. The very nice gentleman immediately brought me to a flooring that was a near perfect match. He grabbed me a sample to see if it would click in and helped me figure out how we would use this since it didn't quite go together correctly should I purchase it. I took the sample and ran to another flooring store to just make sure there wasn't a better match and ended up going right back to lumber liquidators for this flooring. He made sure I had the right glue depending on how we were going to try to match the floor and had me rung up in no time. He even carried it out to my truck for me! Super helpful and I definitely recommend!
