It has a very similar set-up as other Fidelity offices: once you walk in, you notice at least 2 associates standing behind a counter ready to help. We had an appointment with our advisor, so we mentioned that, and they let us know he would be notified and we should have a seat. We were early so waited a bit. The folks behind the counter are young, and since not overly busy, were carrying on conversations with each other. Since we were here last, the office put in a new beverage machine: the Flavia Creation 600...completely self-serve. Created a really good cup of mocha with two custom packs of hot chocolate and coffee. And the disposable packets are automatically 'injested' so nothing to remove/dispose. Coming here gives us an excuse to explore the Seal Beach/Huntington Beach area for the afternoon, which is what we did.

On the consultation date after i uploaded my docs, she just did not seem prepared. Amongst a series of problems, from the start she focused on how I could use the software program, not my primary concern. Worse, we spent 45 minutes on the phone with the software technical assistance person (who now also had access to my financials) trying to figure out a fairly simple comparison. At certain points they both appeared to forget I was there. Suffice to say, I left that consultation without my main issue fully addressed. Final straw, when I emailed her later that day to express my dissatisfaction, she never responded. She is probably a great CFP, but with this customer the experience was an epic failure.

We now have to add my husband to the account. Did that, all docs are notarized. Then we called again because of them being non involved on their end, and oh they need more paper work and!!! They want us to fill in info on the office side of it!! My father worked hard to proceed for mom. It's her money!! Her care has exceeded her income! We've stated that!! It's June 29th!! We've been at this since February. We're done!! One more bs move on their part to deny care to our mom will meet with legal actions!!! It's her money for her care!! It's not theirs!!! They've had the luxury of sitting on her money and now they won't let go!!! When she needs it the most! She doesn't even know us anymore and this is the biggest bs slap in the face we have to go through. They don't do their job!! They're making us do their job and figure it out for them!!
