Hey actually I am writing this in response to the last review. I was in front of the bake shop…read moreyesterday and anticipated this guy doing this as he loudly expressed disgust for their flag. I am pretty sure I ran into this gentleman complaining outside with his group about their support of Palestine without ever having gone in. It's a wonderful shop I've been going to for years. Had he entered he would've realized it's a Lovely business with a friendly staff. Their support of Palestine isn't antisemitism they do not mention Israel at all.

Ordered "scrambled eggs, well done home fries, and dark well-done toast" - pretty simple. After a…read morelong wait the eggs and home fires came but not the toast. The eggs were over-cooked and crumbly; the potatoes were not well-done. When I called this to the server's attention she said "the cook says he can't make them "well-done" because they "will fall apart". Huh??? After waiting for our toast for 15 minutes our meal went cold. I got up and asked if we were getting our toast. 10 minutes later it came, but barely toasted (it was still completely white), We asked that they take it back and darkly toast it. 10 minutes later still not toast, I get up again and ask if we are getting toast. She goes into kitchen and a very frustated man comes out loudly asking "Where is A..?" Well A was talking to someone while holding our toast it turns out. She comes to the table, and I kid you not delivers all white toast again! Flummoxed I said this is what we sent back. He then went on to tell us how it is impossible to toast sour dough bread beyond white (something I and everyone at the table have somehow been able to do during our lifetimes) - Guess they just haven't figured it our yet. Bad experience all around.

Cute little cafe serving up some great coffee and delicious food. We spent about $40 for breakfast…read moreso I would consider it more than a to-go type of place. Unfortunately, the 3/5 stars is for (1) Not having any tap/filter water available. I bought water but it's just not a sustainable practice. (2) Not just not having a bathroom for customers but the attitude I got when I just inquired about both things... We were going to grab a couple cookies on the way out, but just ended up leaving.

4.5 A close friend…read moresuggested we take the 20-minute drive from the place we were staying to this spot, and it was well worth it. The place is well-lit, clean, and has a nice, chill vibe. The staff is super friendly, always smiling, and they all seem to enjoy being there. Food-wise, we got coffee, the Early Bird sandwich (sausage, egg, and cheddar on a biscuit), and another biscuit with jam (sorry, no pic). The biscuits are square, flaky, and buttery. The jam appeared to be homemade mixed berry, and it was really tasty. The SEC was also really good--pairing those buttery, flaky biscuits with sausage patties, cheddar, and egg made for breakfast perfection! If you're an avocado lover, the Early Bird should be your go-to, as they give you at least half an avocado. There are two drawbacks to the Walk In: 1) It's not a place with many seats. They have three tables and some counter space, so if you're planning to eat there, be warned. 2) I wish they had more bakery items besides biscuits, bagels, and cookies (which are also really good). They had a neon artwork of a croissant that wasn't lit up, so maybe they used to serve them but don't anymore? Overall, though, thumbs up! If you're ever in the Livingston Manor area, check them out.
