Worst place I had ever worked. I was thrown into the 2 year old room on my third day after training in another 2 year old room for 2 days. I saw the most horrible things. I saw a teacher who was barely 18 in a room of 15 2 year olds grab a little girl off the floor by her arm. She ripped her off the floor. The girl couldn't weigh more than 30/40 lbs she was so tiny I'm surprised she didn't rip her arm out of the socket. I had never seen a place like it in my life. Very shady place. Be warned I saw evil when I worked there. I reported it but nothing was done. So sad. read more

This is one of the worst schools ever! My child attended their preschool for a few months and it was a mess. Children would often be sitting on toilets with the door open and unattended. My child was being hit by classmates and when I addressed the situation the teacher did nothing about it. Not to mention the staff is not friendly at all. I rated it with one star because that's the only way I could leave a comment. read more

The school offers a structured day for my children which helps tremendously with little ones learning about their world. My kids have friends, love their teachers, and honestly learn a lot. I really like all of the teachers we've met, they all seem to genuinely like being around little kids all day. I've always felt like my children were in very good hands when I leave for the day. It's a very happy place.

I had a kid go there for 2 years and, other than there being a few good teachers, we couldn't wait to get my child out of that place. The problem is the owner Maureen and her totally undiciplined grand children Max and Thornton. Max will hit your children, spit pudding ( and who knows what else ) in their faces and will basically do whatever he pleases without any discipline. They pick specific kids to be in his class based on how kids test with Max socially because he has some major social issues and then they punish the kids that Max abuses. The owner Maureen will lie, cheat and steal to blame the other kids for max's behavior. If your kid ends up in Max or Thorston's class, please take my advise and get him or her out of that school. Otherwise, your child will be abused. read more

My review is unbiased and solely what I believe, the directors care about the children, but can be rude. Some of the teachers are good, most are not, I left because of the things I had witnessed and tried to correct, one specific incident was when a child 1 was hit by child 2 because child 2 was having a bad day, teacher held child 2 and told child 1 to hit child 2 back. I informed the directors and their solution for this problem was to place said teacher on leave for the rest of the week and place her in a different room when she returned to work. For me I would think that calls for immediate termination. Teachers favor certain children. All in all I would NEVER send my children here again. My daughter hated going here everyday and now that she is in a new center she asks me every morning if she gets to go to school now. Forever Young has a good facade but be mindful, read reviews, stop in unexpectedly and see how they really run things.

When I graduated there were some AP classes (7 or 8) and I think there are even more now. The problem was that none of my teachers were qualified to teach at that level, so most of the work I did was self-taught. The school district is on the lower end of the Delco districts in terms of academics. Couple that with high property taxes and I don't know why you'd raise a family here. I'd guess reasons would mirror my family's: they grew up here so their kids grew up here. That ends with me!

My daughter has recently left and started kindergarten, but it was very sad to leave, and we will continue to go back and visit. My daughter misses the staff and her friends there a lot. I am very grateful that she attended this childcare for nearly 4 years. It has a lovely community/family feel to it and the former students always return to visit which speaks volumes. It is true. The biggest mistake that you will make in life is to send your child here. I had to…read moretake my child through a serious program to quit fighting with kids. It took me 7 months to handle the situation. What they learn: They do let them fight. They do abandon them. There is no thorough program that the kids go through other than watching TV half of the day and fighting with each other, cause there is nothing else to do. The teachers rarely came up to me to tell me what my kid learned today or what he did. Environment Sickness, in 2 month my child got sick four times. That's a record. What do you expect from a place with no air, no sunlight and frequent trips to the outside. The piercing, the earrings, the tattoos and the smoking in front of the kids are all true. And it's too much. Tip: If this was the only daycare you can take your child to, then for the benefit of your child, keep them home with a babysitter. They will learn more, behave better and be much more safer. And I really mean this.

My 3 year old child was put into the bathroom ALONE, for over a hour because she was crying for her mom. For 3 days straight they refused to feed her breakfast and lunch because she cried when she was dropped off at school. But yet I was receiving daily reports my daughter ate both meals. Several times my child came home with poop in her underwear and also a few times soaked with pee and my daughter is fully potty trained. When I spoke to the owner she stated to me that the daily report is just what they had on the food list for the day, not what the child actually ate. When I requested to see the surveillance tape she REFUSED. When I enrolled my daughter into that school I was assured that if a issue occurred that the parents are welcomed to see the surveillance at anytime. I have reported this school to the BBB, the State Inspector and the Philadelphia School District. PLEASE PLEASE DONT SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS SCHOOL. My daughter is traumatized. As a mother my heart hurts that I let my daughter attend a school that basically abused her. The only 5 stars reviews on Google are from the employees at the school.

The teachers alone have been employed there for for decades and every time I walk in there, they're actively engaged with the children. Food is provided so we literally drop our kids off in the morning with no preparation needed and pick them up in the afternoon. My life is sooo much simpler! The parents at this school are actively involved in the running of this facility so you know they care. There is just no question in my mind whether or not I've placed my child in the best environment in the area.
