I reached out to Jenna at the beginning of this summer because I needed to have the countertop and wood side panels removed temporarily in order to have floors replaced. She said that they were busy and it would be about a week to two weeks before they could get to me. That was fine. I also asked for a quote. I called back a week later, and was told that everyone was on vacation, but they would get to me by the end of the summer. I also asked for a written quote for my records. I was told, by Jenna, that was not a problem and she would email me the quote. I received nothing. Over the next few weeks, I called and left several messages, none of which were returned. When I finally got Jenna on the phone, she said that there were 5 jobs ahead of me and she doesn't know when they will be able to fit me in. I asked to speak to her manager. She told me he was not in yet, but would give him the message and have him call me. I never received a phone call...or the written quote. If this is how the people at BKM do business, especially with repeat customers, it is DISGRACEFUL. I felt like I was being strung along, and that they never had any intention of putting my job on the schedule. SHAME ON EVERYONE AT BKM! If I could give zero stars as a rating, I would. If you have any granite needs, use Richmond Granite. They came to my rescue and did a fabulous job.

Cycled all over NYC to find someone to cut matching pieces to replace the smashed pieces. Lace was the best price, best service/attitude and quality of workmanship (someone else did a very poor job prior my finding Lace). There was a bit of a snafu on the pieces so I took them back and they re-did the job w/out charge and they did it really nicely. I said to Anthony "you guys are the only quality guys that would do such a small job like this". He said, "well, if we do this right, maybe you'll come back for a kitchen". And that's exactly what happened. Just bought a brownstone in Bed-sty...and they are the first one's I called. They put in a beautiful countertop for a very competitive price. No hassles. No BS. VERY HAPPY WITH LACE. They don't do tile but they called around to guys they work with and sent a guy my way to help me fix a badly done shower drain my seller hoodwinked me on.
