When I called to schedule they were able to set an appointment very quickly. Spencer and Mark both came out and were very thorough. For the general inspection Spencer looked over the house from top to bottom. Because the home has well and septic Mark concentrated on that. After a few hours we received the inspection report and Spencer sat down with us and went over it in detail. After the inspection was over the next few days we were provided with the 360 degree tour and a floor plan of the house which has really come in handy. Overall I was happy with the professionalism and the quick responses were appreciated. I would for sure recommend if you are looking for a home inspector!

We purchased our home in 2021, and the radon test at time of purchase was 3.7pCi/L. We decided to…read morere-test in September 2025, and the result was 6.4pCi/L. It is recommended to install a radon mitigation system for values that exceed 4.0pCi/L. After receiving 5 estimates (some from vendors that didn't want to visit our home), we settled on Genesis Radon. Adam came out, inspected our basement and walked the perimeter of our home. He has 18+ years of experience, is an Ohio licensed radon specialist and contractor. He is a member of various industry groups, and is Better Business Bureau "A+" Accredited. And this is important because as I researched other radon mitigation bids, some had BBB complaints. Genesis Radon had no complaints. He also offers multiple warranties: Lifetime effectiveness warranty means your values will always be at or below 3.9pCi/L; a 30-year workmanship warranty, and a 5-year manufacturer's warranty on the mitigation fan. After installing our system, Adam set up his radon testing equipment and ran a test for 3 days. The result? We are UNDER 1.0pCi/L.
