And the drainage around the house is SO MUCH BETTER. At the time the crew was out, we were having other repairs inside the house, and everyone did the trades shuffle with grace and humor. You haven't seen a crew work like these guys did until you realize they roofed a 7,200 sq ft historic house in just 3 days--including the flat roof rebuilds. So much attention and care was paid to the fabric of the home, and each flat roof got its own plan and treatment. He asked a third time if my husband could join us, citing that I might not be able to remember all the information I was given. They removed 3-layers of shingles, repaired some of the decking, replaced the vents, and put down some three-dimensional shingles. The roof looks great! They day they arrived it was the beginning of the hottest week for the area during this summer (2013). They covered all of my plants and flowers, cleaned up after themselves, and even put down wood in the driveway to protect it from the dumpster that was in my driveway. The only downfall to the whole process is that Double-B said it would take 3-days to complete. They had to come back on the 4th day to put the final touches on the roof and make sure everything was cleaned up well. I can't complain considering it had to be over 130 degrees on the roof those three days. They still got it done and it looks great! THANK YOU DOUBLE-B!!
