We have been adoring the Sandbox so far. My son had a hard time adjusting and the teachers…read morecontinued to work with him the best that they could each time he was there. They communicate daily through an email to update parents about what happened during the day, sometimes there is more info than other days. The staff is helpful. With covid we havent been able to go inside to spend time in the classrooms. I'm looking forward to that. We love the Sandbox and are glad our son is there. Pros: Attentive to schedule changes, teachers/staff will take the time to listen to you, the owner is usually available, my son comes home and seems like he has learned sooo much! Cons: Can't enter school yet(vivid- not their fault) sometimes end of day report doesn't have too much info about the day, not sure how many diapers is usual per day at most places at first we were surprised at how many were used daily but at least we know he isn't left dirty

He rarely was upset with drop offs but when he was the teachers did a great job redirecting him and providing him love. My son also made some great friends at the Sandbox that have been a strong foundation to his confidence and happiness and I owe this to the wonderful teachers and staff at the Sandbox Early Learning Center. I am so thankful my son spent his early years there.

I am sharing my family's experience with Carden Christian Academy on Swan Road in Tucson because I…read morewas unable to find a place to leave a public review. Our experience was extremely disappointing. The school advertises the Carden teaching method, but I found the curriculum difficult to understand, and I watched several kindergarten students struggle with the way they were being taught. Weekly spelling lists contained only a few words with very little practice or reinforcement, and the words were rarely used in sentences to help children understand them. Instead of helping students succeed, the teaching methods left many children confused. I also witnessed a teacher grab a child roughly by the arm. I was so concerned that I found the child's parent and told them what I had seen. My grandchild once forgot his water bottle and was told to drink water from the bathroom sink instead of being offered another solution. What concerns me most is student safety and privacy. Personal information about my grandchild was shared with someone who was not authorized on the pickup or contact list. That is a serious breach of trust. Parents pay a substantial amount of tuition expecting quality education, professionalism, and a safe environment. Based on our experience, we did not receive that. I also find it concerning that I have been unable to locate a public place to leave a review of this school. I hope other parents will carefully research the school, ask detailed questions about its curriculum, student safety procedures, and privacy practices before making the decision to enroll their children. This was our family's experience, and I believe other parents deserve to hear it when making an important decision about their child's education.

I feel that when Mr. Ewald was the principal, the school was an amazing place. The overall morale…read moreamong students, parents, and staff was much more positive, and there was a stronger sense of community and support throughout the school. Since Ms. Chartier took over as principal, it feels like the school has unfortunately started to fall apart in several areas. Academically, many classes seem to be falling behind, and there are growing concerns from parents about the quality of education students are receiving. More importantly, many students no longer feel safe or supported at school, which is extremely concerning for families who trust the school with their children every day. Another issue that has become very noticeable is favoritism. Many parents and even staff members have expressed frustration about unequal treatment and the lack of consistency when addressing concerns. I have personally spoken with several staff members and parents who say they have repeatedly tried to resolve issues, but their concerns are often dismissed. Many describe Ms. Chartier as rude, unprofessional, and difficult to communicate with. It is especially upsetting to see front office staff having to apologize to parents and students because of the way situations are handled. No staff member should feel responsible for smoothing over embarrassing or negative interactions caused by school leadership. Overall, it is heartbreaking to see such a decline in the school environment compared to how things were under Mr. Ewald's leadership. I truly wish Mr. Ewald would have remained principal because the school felt more organized, welcoming, and supportive during his time there.

I am truly blown away by the progress my son has made. My son turned 2 in December, and just five…read moredays later he started at Childtime. From the very beginning, I was amazed at how comfortable he became in such a short amount of time. Within three weeks, he confidently walks to his seat and tells me a sweet "bye, mama!" every morning. What really stands out is the level of education and communication. We receive weekly lesson plans, and I love seeing how much he's learning--things like shadows and light, and even animals I didn't realize he knew. He's surprised me at least three times already by talking about new animals at home! The staff is incredibly kind and genuinely makes my little guy feel loved and supported. This experience has completely changed my day at work, knowing he is in a school environment, not just daycare. Throughout the day, I receive photos, meal updates, and diaper change notifications, which gives me such peace of mind. They post so many sweet moments that I honestly forget to check the cameras--yes, they even have those too! I want to personally thank Dee, Arlette, Mary, Evette, Mari, Michelle, and Mosesta, along with the entire crew at East River. Your care, patience, and dedication truly do not go unnoticed, and I am so grateful for everything you do each day. I am beyond happy with my choice and couldn't recommend Childtime more. 10/10 recommend. If you check them out and see this review, let them know Brittany O. sent you--the referral program is great as well!

I have two boys at Childtime and the school is absolutely amazing! We had recently left a daycare…read morethat was horrible and Childtime came to our rescue. My boys are excited to leave for school everyday and have happy faces when we go to pick them up. Friendships, creativity and responsibilities are fostered at this center and my boys have already learned so much from the short 5 months they have been here. The director is one of the nicest people I have ever met and the teachers throughout the school are wonderful and kind. Weekly lesson plans are posted for parents to see and cultivate actual learning rather than simply babysitting. My eldest is going to Kinder in the Fall and I am saddened he will not return for the upcoming school year but my youngest will be back after the Summer and I cannot be happier. ***I am a teacher myself so I know good educators when I see them***
