We have had multiple run-ins with this dealer's service department. It is this dealer's main failure point. Let me start by saying we have had Chevrolet products for years and absolutely love them.... A handful of these vehicles were purchased at this dealership. We have worked with various sales representatives, Sales Managers, and even the owners directly. With this mix of vehicles, we have had to go to parts on multiple occasions and I can honestly say we have enjoyed working with each of these people, I consider them to be great and I am thankful to have had the privilege to work with each of them. ----------- However, we have had very serious issues over the years with the service department. I will try to briefly outline them... 1) when I purchased my 2024 Corvette, it had been at the dealer for slightly over a year (arrived in November 2023, sold December 2024 due to recalls). I had directly asked the service manager if the car needed an oil change as the oil had been in the vehicle for over a year. His response was that since the car was inside, it would be just like the oil was still in the bottle. I contacted Mobil 1, they confirmed that regardless if the oil is in the car or bottle, one year is their life expectancy, and they recommended replacement. We did our own oil change to protect the car, dealer (service manager) refused to 2) My son's 2018 Camaro 2SS Redline, it had an issue where the car acted like it was being stolen. It went into limp mode, dash lights/AC/power windows/headlights all out, multiple warning lights. We took it to the dealer, they advised that we must have broken the wiring harness behind the rear bumper as it was cracked and allowing water into it. Automatically accusing us of damaging the vehicle, so it would not be covered under our extended warranty. We paid to have them clean it and re-assemble it - they also noted that it was being caused by LED side marker lights and a weak battery, so we replaced the battery as well. We had the car back for 2 days, it failed again, we swapped out the LED side markers, back to the factory side marker lights (note it does not require bumper removal to do this), no change. Took it back, we paid again for them to inspect and clean it. They gave an estimate of $1,500 for the wiring harness and no ETA on availability, this time however they sealed it with Dielectric Grease. That was back around June 2025 and it has not failed since, we paid for the same repair 2x before they could fix it right 3) My 2024 Corvette was due for it's 'first service' which consisted of its first dealer oil change and transmission canister filter change. The appointment was scheduled a week in advance, we brought the car over first thing in the morning. I stopped by after 4pm to see if the car was done yet. Apparently the service advisor (Kathy) had placed the paperwork on the service manager's desk so it could be assigned first thing in the morning. Instead he did ABSOLUTLY NOTHING with the paperwork, the vehicle sat at the dealer untouched the entire day. Kathy apologized and said she would have it taken care of next day, which she personally handled, and I had the car back by end of day. 4) My son needed new tires on his 2018 Camaro Redline, we found the correct tire size we wanted and attempted to order Cooper Zeon tires, the dealer did not have them as an item they could order. I showed them on tire rack that I could get them, and asked if we could bring them in to have them installed, we also wanted to do an alignment. The service advisor said it would not be an issue, so we ordered them from Tire Rack, made an appointment and brought the car in for service. The service manager said they would not be responsible for any damages to his Redline rims because we did not buy the tires from them, and wanted us to sign off on that before they would work on the car. Of course I am not going to give Chevrolet permission to treat his insanely expensive FACTORY REDLINE rims like basketballs, so we refused. 5) My daughter had a flat tire on her 2023 Corvette 2LT, seems the right rear was out of alignment, and the tire wore through the threads and belt. We attempted to have them order 2 rear tires and 2 front tires, our thought was replace all 4 and do an alignment just to resolve any possible issues. We were told they would not be able to get the rear tires for at least 6-8 weeks. I showed them were they were available at Tire Rack and I could have them delivered to the dealer in 2 days. Kathy checked with the service manager, she said she was unable to install them, saying they are not from "their supplier" Her $85,000 Corvette is completely out of service for a least 2 months for a flat tire because of this service dept read more

This is the first negative review I've given on here. And absolutely warranted. First off I travel the country for work, so I deal with dealerships across the country for service work. Castriota is by for the worst and unprofessional dealship I have ever dealt with with in any state. I brought my truck in for a oil diagnostic test, to find out why my truck was leaking so much oil. I will admit I messed up by mentioning looks like a rear main seal the way it so much oil out, but I don't know I'm not a mechanic. I brought the truck a day before the scheduled diagnostic test. It wasn't no more than a hour before I get a call it's absolutely the rear main and will be 3300 and we gotta take the transmission out. I agreed. Got a call a week later they told me the head valve gasket is leaking as well and they need to take the cab off to get to it and it will be 4k. I was very upset and declined, since i wanted to trade it in for a brand new tuck if it was gonna cost me a fortune for repairs. Any fast word to the date they said it was gonna be complete Jan 2 so I can get back to work since I work out of town. They never called me to inform me that the truck is not complete. I called them Monday morning and they informed they installed the rear main seal incorrectly and will have to remove my transmission again and need the truck for another week. So I could not return to work that week and lost a whole weeks pay. They are by far the worst service department I have dealt with in this country and first negative review I have every given. They're lack of oil dogmatic cost me from making a educated dis ion in buying a new truck and cost me time and money missing work. I cannot recommend Castriota Chevrolet anymore . We lost 2 vehicles in the hurricanes last year . Went here to replace my truck .. Larry ( the salesman) was excellent however when it came time to pay for the 2024 Silverado , the finance guy had added every option to the final price . He then proceeded to tell us , ding, dents , paint , and scratches were covered under one of the extra warranty's he had listed for us. Well, no sooner than I go to a parking lot, of course someone hit my front bumper and scratched it really bad . We contact Castriota , they in turn give us a phone number to call . After calling the number , we then find we are NOT covered for ANY dings, dents paint or scratches! We paid $595 for appearance protection $778 for road hazard $524 for ding shield and $3098 for VSC to be covered for NOTHING ! It's also non refundable! I am a retired GM Parts Manager with over 35 yeaars experience in Service & Parts . I have an older Chevy Pick-up that needed a seat belt retractor . I got a rediculous quote on parts and labor . Parts said belt was discontinued in my color but that there were some available possibly on the locator most all dealers use or in a different color . I asked the service writer if his quote was for real and could he break it down for me . Did not give me a written quote but belt & labor was close to 800.00 . Parts was doubling their cost and then some on parts and service was off the wall on their labor . I bought the belt online myself from another dealer for 145.00 and took it to an uphostry shop that pulled the bucket seat involved out , relplaced the belt and back in for 40 bucks and took less than an hour . I know there's alot of overhead at the dealership but no need for highway robbery to make ends meet . read more

Where to begin? Had a scheduled appt at 9am 3/22 to which I received a confirmation call. Arrived for appt Cathy could not find me so she claimed. She was aware of the issue before hand on my last visit. So they decided to KEEP MY VEHICLE from 8:17 am to 4:39 pm when I had to call and Cathy again had NO IDEA if my vehicle was worked or not. I love the Dealership and they are great when I bring my car in. But they use a third party for the "Carefree Point Protection Plan" and the third-party sucks. I paid $580.00 for the plan, and they will not even return my emails. They make you jump through hoops with pictures and then just deny the claim, I email about love bugs and sent in pictures and no response. I was robbed of the $580.00 I paid for the plan. I had to take it to a Body Shop to have them buffed out. Again sorry Castriota uses this third party and sells their product because it reflects on their dealership. had a starter problem, AAA had already checked out the battery, my truck was towed there on Tuesday morning, No loaner car, and they kept my truck till Thursday night. I rented a car that my extended warranty would cover after my truck was repaired, on Thursday night just before they closed I was told they could not find anything wrong with my truck and assured my battery was fine. they charged me $200 to check my battery. (I could have bought a new one for less) Because there was no repair the rental car was not covered. The next day, on my 2nd trip out from the house, the truck wouldn't start again! leaving me stranded. My how things have changed over the years. What was once known as a reputable dealership, is now known as not so much. Run away, don't walk. This was quite possibly the worst customer service I have experienced. My vehicle is 2 years old. A 2020 Tundra with 29k. I purchased this vehicle after my last vehicle, a 2015 Silverado, began giving me a myriad of problems. While I owned the Silverado, I brought it in one day for an oil change and alignment. When I left that day, the alignment was worse than when I arrived. I was told it was possibly due to belts inside the tires or hitting potholes. The alignment was only slightly pulling prior to arrival that day. When I got home, I called and spoke to Dan who said it was likely due to being older, tired and the belts inside being worn or broken. I inspected the wheels and one of them was missing all of the weights. I should've learned from my previous experience but clearly I did not. Now, wanting to give the dealership a second chance, I went back again for the same thing. Oil change and alignment. The alignment was only slightly off but I wanted it done before it got bad and the tires become ruined. My appointment was 5/23/22 at 1pm. I arrived at 1245. My truck was taken back on time. At 345, I had yet to have any updates on my truck, so I decided to inquire. Cathy Davidson told me she would find out. About 5-7 mins later, I was told my truck was missing a part and it could not be aligned and it was still on the rack. She told me I would need to leave my vehicle and the part that was needed to align the vehicle would need to be specially ordered. If a part was missing and/or broken to begin with, the alignment, and the caster/camber would've been off more than just a slight pull for a 2 year old vehicle. I asked her to have the techs put the truck back together and I would need to come back, as well as what was being explained to me did not make sense. There were no also loaner vehicles available. It is not feasible for me being a single father with one vehicle and in need transportation to leave my vehicle, especially having little to no time to make arrangements. Cathy explained to me that she had been busy and was consumed with other tasks. Mind you, this did not appear to have been the busiest of days. As I was leaving, the steering wheel had massive amounts of play in it and the caster/camber of the tires was compromised. Nearly 200 miles later, the part arrives and I come back for service. My two front tires are now severely worn down prematurely and they have less than 30k on them. The tires are Michelin LTX A/T2 and are excellent tires. After 90 minutes of waiting for this to be fixed, I was informed the service manager Nick Galida ordered the wrong part and I would need to leave my truck...again. I was offered a loaner vehicle this time. I left my vehicle. Just now, I was told my truck is finally ready and there is nothing that can be done for my inconvenience or the premature wear on the tires. The tires have clearly visible areas on the outside of the tread form cupping and the caster/camber being off from when it was originally taken in for service on 5/23/22. Now I'm left with 2 ruined tires and have been inconvenienced for the duration of this mess, not to mention needing to spend more money to take it somewhere else to get it fixed. Horrible, just absolutely putrid customer service. I will never bring my vehicle here again, I hope this also deters future people who are in need of service from going here. To be fair I am only giving the 1 star rating because my initial experiencing was good but at the end of day, it's the last interaction that pushed that left a bad taste in my mouth.My recommendation to anyone looking for certified pre-owned vehicle is, Don't buy a certified pre-owned vehicle from Castiota Chevrolet. I do love my Colorado I bought but there were issues only 4 weeks after purchasing it. I had to replace the battery, it was completely dead and my brakes needed work. Really not something you expect to have to deal with a few weeks after purchasing a certified pre-owned vehicle. I specifically looked for certified pre-owned when searching for my vehicle because with it come the longer warranty and a thorough inspection to ensure there aren't any issues. Now I know that advertisements aren't always accurate but the term certified pre-owned comes with the expectation that the vehicle should run like new. When I brought the issues up with the salesman that sold me the vehicle, he basically implied that if I brought the vehicle in that they would look at it and see what they could do. I brought the vehicle in and I was dealt with summarily by one of the sales managers. The sale manager had no compassion for me the consumer, only protecting the interests of the dealership. They didn't even offer to pull it in and look at it. I was basically told that they followed the guidelines and that was that. They shook my hand and got up and left. I had the truck, features, payment, warranties and GAP coverage that I wanted. (You know, Tom, the same as the red one that I wanted from your dealership, just in cyber gray metallic). You wouldn't even come out and talk to me, or even apologize for your staff and the way they were treating us. Instead, you allowed your salesmen and finance manager to disrespect, and talk down to my wife and I. Until I put your finance manager in his place in the middle of your showroom, in front of all the other possible customers, and walked out. But, I guess in a sense I should say thanks for treating us like crap, even though we made it blatantly obvious I was going right back to a Ferman Chevy dealership the next morning for an oil change in my Acura (purchased from Ferman as well in 2013). Instead, someone calls my house and cell phone at 2100 and didn't even have the backbone to leave a message on either device. Way to go Castriota. Hey Tom, Semper Fidelis. I took it in to get a recall done. My sensors on my tires were acting up. I asked them to check it out. I have to say Dan in service was amazing and an asset to your company. Helpful and kind. That's why you got some stars. Your mechanics or people that evaluated my sensors are not. They came back with 3 needed to be replaced at 166 a pop. I took it to my local guy next day and he fixed the for free with his relearn tool. After moving here from New York I found that my air conditioning in the car didn't seem as cold as it should be So I went to castriota chevy They checked my ac and told me it was a little low on refrigerant To check and recharge my ac they told me it would be over $700 for a simple recharge One reason is they want $175 an hour for labor and we're charging me $490 just in labor which is ridiculous considering all they do is hook up the equipment and the machine does the rest Doing some more research I found two other dealerships Wesley chapel Chevy wanted $210 an hour The best dealership was register Chevy in Brooksville they get $128 an hour So bottom line do research on the dealerships before you go in for a repair not covered under warranty read more

So two days after I got my yearly Mobil 1 oil change in my 2000 Vette I lifted the hood to see if I needed to flush the clutch fluid. Yikes, after a 27 point inspection the reservoir only had 1/4" of fluid in it. Then I noticed the wire from the underhood lamp was laying in a pile. Not simply unplugged but physically ripped the wires out of the fitting rather than unplug it at one of two places. Ruined. I found another used harness on ebay from a trusted source for $22, This place has totally gone down the toilet in the last year. I've had nothing but good things to say until now. Moan. I went to Ferman Chevrolet for my first oil change showed him the tire and he said no problem I will turn it around. I was standing there when he took the tire off the guy ripped the tire and put it on the car, Ferman Chevrolet fixed it. Billy is a great service manager. Very high pressure sales team. Had one vehicle in the color I wanted, but it was too expensive. Spent four hours trying to convince my wife and I to buy one of the three cars that matched our requirements. It was four hours of try this price, I said no, go back the the sales manager. The head of sales finally "remembered" that the model we wanted had zero percent financing for 72 months. That was at the end of the four hours. We were finally so tired of the song-and-dance that we left, with the sales manager following us out the door telling us what a great deal this was. When we got home, there were four messages from Castriota Chevrolet. One was from Tom Castriota himself. They never offered to locate a car in our color choice (three were available in the area). We purchased our vehicle at another Chevrolet dealer for the same price. It took about 2 1/2 hours for the whole deal to take place. No running to the manager. I have been eyeing a Chevy volt for quite some time and I was one day searching online and a deal that was to good to be true popped up. I went ahead and types in my info, thinking it would be a couple of days before I hear from someone. In about 30 seconds my phone rings and a woman named Elissa is calling from the dealership, I was blow away mostly due to the speed and he fact that it was 740pm. I live 3 hours from the dealership, so I filled out the online application, got approved, worked out financing and Minor details. Elissa was there with me every step of the way, constantly updating me as to any changes. Several days later I drove to the dealership and was glad to meet Elissa, whom was my sort of angel on the inside. The transaction was so smooth that I was weirded out, due to the fact that my past dealership experience were horrible (stay away from I-95 Toyota in South Georgia, their crooks) Brent prepared all the financials in record time and before I knew it I was on my way home in my new car with the family!! Customer service and repair work is bad. Took my 2012 Acadia in for a problem with the radio not connecting. $176 for diagnostics, could not find problem do it did not get fixed. Took my 2019 Camaro in for oil change and they returned it with under inflated tires. Had to have them inflated to proper pressure. Camaro convertible had a broken part so I made an appointment to see what repair parts it needed to fix it. When I got there, the service manager said they didn't have time to look at it.
