Sketchy, sketchy, sketchy!!! stay away!! I'm a single lady, and one of my tires was low and the sensor was on, so I went in and asked if they could do me a favor and just put air in the tire and he asked for my keys which tire is it, he takes the car to the back after five minutes. I go around the corner to see what he's doing. He's got my car jacked up and doing who knows what. I ask him what he's doing and he tells me I need all new 4 tires. I say thanks anyway you didn't have my permission to put it up on a jack, he takes it off the jack and walks away in a huff. I get in the car. The sensor is still on now there's less air in the tire per the sensor read out. Who knows what he was going to do to my car or my tires.! do not go here read more

My car ended up needing the engine replaced. They found a good used engine and got it installed for me the next day. Our brake lights surprisingly went on after having the car checked out elsewhere before a road trip. We went to Morrison's because it was nearby the house and opened early on Saturday (8AM). Despite being busy, they promptly looked at the car. Thankfully they didn't find anything, topped us off with brake fluid and didn't charge us. Huge thank you to them! read more

They replaced an oil gasket in my car, which was cracked and caused an even bigger oil leak than the initial issue. Took the car back and waited literally a whole day because they had to get a new part from Hyundai but they replaced it. They also had to replace spark plugs free of charge. Unfortunately the damage ruined other sensors in my car that I've had to get repaired. Seemed kind of sketch that a "brand new" new part came cracked. Maybe this was just a bad day for them but I won't risk taking my car back. read more

As a woman who is generally cautious and judgmental about her surroundings, I really have to disagree with the description of Morrison's being "sketchy". My boyfriend and his family sent me here about 4 years ago because they had been using Morrison's in Spring Hill for years. I trusted them so I gave it a shot although I was skeptical because, well, how often do we have good mechanic experiences? I have come to Morrison's for all my automotive needs since then. I'm happy with the prices, the people (especially Joe. We mostly see him when we walk in and he's very friendly.), the time of service, and the fact that I overall can trust them. read more

The guy that owns this place is a selective scammer .He almost got me twice . Back in 1999 I took my 1989 Mustang GT to him for a/c problems . A day or so after taking it home I notice the air is blowing warm , so I took it back and i'm told the fan blower is bad . I don't know how the mechanics didn't know this when looking over the whole a/c system . I paid $600 plus the first time and now an extra 90 bucks and he refuses to accept a check when I gave him 600 in cash the day before . It's 12 years later and I take my 2001 Ford Ranger to be looked at because I notice it's shaking pretty bad when driving it . Being it was 12 years later I didn't realize it was him at first and he changed the name of his shop and it was at a different location . I remember him coming in the shop and telling me and another gentleman we have the same problem and it's the compressor . It would cost me around $600.00 for a new compressor and I decide I want a second opinion . I take my truck to 2 or 3 other shops , including sears and find out it's the rooters that are bad . How do you diagnose a compressor problem for rooters if the vehicle was carefully looked over . The compressor is still good and it's almost 5 years later . When I mention the name "Moorison , I receive some disgruntled looks from customers and told they had a bad experience too , and at least 2 co-workers mention this as well , as well as another local mechanic whose brother is friends with Morrison , only he mentions many of his customers had bad things to say of Morrison .Bottom line , avoid this guy or stand a chance of getting taken . I also, asked the owner about a part I replaced last year, his quote was half what I paid else where. As an individual on disability, I am so thankful. Trusted them to fined out all that was wrong with RV truck part only A/C, called me 45 minutes later with the results . I agreed to have all the work done ,because I knew what needed done. Horrible. The building looks sketchy, and I didn't want my wife going there alone. When you walk in there is no one to greet. Very awkward. Has fixed our vehicle 3 times now for the same issue. The last time we picked it up, it had a new problem. They took it to the back to rectify, however now I am late for work. read more

How many have gone in there to get their ac fixed whatever the problem is just fix it to have to cone back approx 2 weeks later for the same reason you originally took it in for? First visit almost $800 for a new compressor we were told. 2 weeks later no charge but told Schrader valve. Another week later still the same problem that we were there for originally is happening again. Starts out cold then goes.warm. Now the 3rd visit we're told it is the condenser and they want another $400 plus to fix that. From reading I'm under the impression that the condenser should be replaced at the same time as the compressor. If there was a thorough inspection done at first visit why is it 2 visits later and still the same problem? Why are we being charged n additional fee if it should have all been replaced or fixed at the same time? We are being told this just happened between weekly visits. But again, still the initial problem is not fixed. What exactly does the warranty cover? Too bad there no option for no stars. read more

I moved up to the Hudson area many years ago and being a women didn't know where I could go to get my car fixed. A friend suggested that I take it to Morrison Discount Auto Repair. They were very friendly and did the work and I was very happy with the work that he has done for me all these years. Terrible place to go. Would not recommend to anymone. My headgasket blew they fixed it not even 4 months later the head gasket blows again. now the shop says it needs a new motor and i have to pay for it. What happen to them saying they would guarantee it for 1 year or 100,000 miles Very unprofessional and scammers at that shop. they will be hearing from my lawyers. read more

I had used Morrison's for several years, thinking I was getting a decent price & acceptable work. Unknowingly, That was because they used rebuilt parts. It usually took two appointments to get a job done right, such as parts left on floorboard, car not running right, a headlight pointing to the ground due to an elbow bump. There was always grease left on the floor mats from boots. One instance, I had electrical problems with my dashboard lights. When the shop finished working on it and billing me, Joe told me I would have to go to a dealer and have the computer set up. The dealer did a complete re-diagnosis and corrected the problem including the computer set up. The straw that broke the camel's back happened when I was told I needed a fuel pump. Joe quoted $400. then immediately said the vehicle had a flex-fuel system which would bring it up to $500. I eventually found out the vehicle didn't have the flex-fuel system. After thousands of dollars of business, he never got a chance to work on my next vehicle. Bye, bye Joe. read more

I brought my 2015 kia soul to these guys for a simple oil change, after picking my car up and bringing it home I noticed an oil leak on my drive way. I promply took my car back and talked to the manager about it and after looking at the car again he told me that it was just a little oil that got spilled and the mechanic did not wipe it off. I took my car back home and after washing my drive way I noticed my car still had an oil leak the next day, so I brought my car back to them for the second time all over a simple oil change and this time the owner told me that they did not replace the o-ring around the oil drain plug. Now after two weeks go by I pop my hood to fill my wiper fluid reservior I noticed some sort of bracket laying under my hood that was not there before these guys touched my car. I will never go back to this place, not even to have air put in the tires. I have nothing to gain from this, just wanted the public to know how me and my car were treated at this place read more
