Everyone working for Castro Canvas is professional and conscientious. I never felt like I was being sold anything I didn't want, but was being helped to better understand what I needed. OK colleague boat owners, you know how difficult it is to have quality canvas work done in Ventura County. I cannot tell you how many times I contacted a canvas company, they never showed him or came out, took the measurements and then never heard from them again. Even happened when I was trying to get curtains made for the interior of the boat... Well, have known Juan for number of years (his father previously had done some canvas work on my earlier sailboat) and contacted him. I had a terrible experience with Juan Castro. Immediately after installation of my boat cover the windows clouded up. These were upgraded windows we paid a ton extra for. Castro took no responsibility at all. He said "you chose the materials and my people assembled them". We chose the materials he said were the best. I got him to replace them but he demanded more money for the labor to reinstall the windows. I suggest you find someone else for you canvas boat cover work! read more
