I hate leaving reviews like this. Extremely disappointed in this purchase. None of the succulents pictured were there, instead of eucalyptus there is cheap birds nest. I understand having some substitutes but this is an entirely different product. It's for a birthday and if I would have known it would turn out looking like this, I would have spent my $88 on something else for her. Then they just hung up on me. I looked at the time & saw it's 10 mins of 5pm... "Time ta go, forget you, your family who passed away, your $$, your business & oh yeah, our need for you as a customer." Wow!! That's Corpus for ya. Careless! This is true of soo many Corpus businesses. Some, alot, simply do not value customers. If they had not hung up on me. I would'a chosen the 'Magnificant Life' arrangement (1st pic). very disappointed! My husband was charged $100 for a dozen of roses. No vase and the light colored ones were already wiltering. Plain roses even though he paid for glittered roses for Valentine's Day w/delivery. Very overpriced flowers. The same exact arrangement is sold at HEB fresh for half price & way more full bouquets. Same day delivery was an option, and it was only $15. My friend was out walking her dog when she came back to find the arrangement waiting for her at the door. She told me she "gasped"! I live in another state and I ordered an arrangement over the phone for my best friend's birthday. I selected an arrangement off of Castro's website, directly. While I know that not all flowers are available and that substations may be made, I SPECIFICALLY stated that I did NOT want ANY carnations substituted for flowers in the arrangement. When my friend sent me a picture of what was delivered, the hypericum berries that had been pictured were replaced by none of the than RED CARNATIONS in the arrangement that was delivered. I am so disappointed and angry. I know that not everyone has the same taste as me and I don't expect them to read my mind, but after being so forthright with them about not wanting a particular kind of flower substituted (cheap looking and cheesy), it happened anyway. Clearly, they don't understand what is the equivalent flower. I will not be doing business with them again. read more
