I'm from DC (Daly City) and wasn't familiar with the East Bay BART stations; especially two stations with identical sounding names. However, it was a fortuitous mistake as it's in a fairly safe neighborhood with a strip mall directly across the station. There's also a good number of underrated places to eat in the area. It doesn't have a huge parking lot, or even a huge parking structure like some stations, but it's adequate enough for the area and it's easy to navigate in and out off. It has a very secluded and intimate feel to it. I also like the fact that the rails are elevated above ground so you can view the surrounding neighborhoods and area. It makes one's commute much more pleasant if you look out the windows and see the sunrise or sunset on any given day. Structurally speaking, its minimal, simple design doesn't stand out. However, the plum trees planted in the parking lot separates it from the rest. Especially when the flowers bloom in late winter. They almost rival the Cherry Blossom trees when it comes to beauty.

We shopped around quite a bit for shuttle services and they had the best rates for our group size. But what really impressed us was how flexible they were when we needed to make some last-minute changes to timing and pickup spots. They could have been difficult about billing adjustments but really went out of their way to make sure we were happy. It's clear they actually care about taking care of their customers, not just getting through the job. Made one less thing for us to stress about on an already busy day. Then we take off turns out the place wasn't as far away as I thought just like 2 blocks away. So, I find the place going down the road and he stops turns of the thing that says the price when I last saw it it was like $4 something then when he stopped he was like $10. I have no problem giving a tip when you're friendly and helpful. I just gave the money and left. He must of really needed it. It was weird I am from out of town and my first interaction with a person in this town was very unwelcoming. I come from the suburbs where people are generally nice and friendly I was just expecting the same. I was just shocked by this behavior. I don't come to this town very often but now I know which cab company not to use. It's the holiday season if he wasn't so messed up I would have give a bigger tip but he screwed himself from making more money by being a con man.
