Called ahead to set everything up, gave them my pickup time, and when I checked in a few days before the trip out of pure travel anxiety, they had me down for the exact time I'd given them. Driver showed up right on the dot. The vehicle was a big clean SUV, plenty of room for luggage, and the ride to the airport was smooth and safe the whole way. Got dropped off right at the door we needed, which matters when you're pulling bags out at a busy terminal. The part I appreciated most was the billing. They invoiced me after the trip, so there was no scrambling for a card or working out a tip with the driver in the moment. Zero hassle on departure day, which was the whole point. If you want a calm start to a trip and not a coin flip on whether your ride shows up, book these guys. Worth it.

Da Scene: Call or email before your trip, they can accommodate last minute booking, but try to book a day in advance. They have several vehicles, let them know how many passengers, accurate count/size of luggage and departure time. Da Service: They normally arrive 10-15 minutes early to load luggage etc. Vehicles have been clean and comfy, water available as well. Couple of times we were in peak traffic, alternate routes were taken and we stayed on schedule. Da End Game: They drop-off and pickup in the limo service areas at the airports, so no rushed drop-offs or pickups. Then I get a phone call from some other guy saying that he's driving from Berkeley and will pick me up in 10 minutes. 6:30 am a car finally shows up. This is an entirely different guy (who actually frightened me a couple of times during the ride with his reckless driving). I made my flight but probably wouldn't have if I had to check in bags. And guess what? I find out only when I get to the airport that 510 Airport Taxi had called ANOTHER taxi service to pick me up. So when I go to pay with the Yelp voucher, the driver refuses to take it because he's not with 510 Airport Taxi. Now I'm just trying to get my Yelp voucher refunded. I had to pay that guy, essentially paying for this awful taxi ride twice and now I'm getting texts from 510 Airport Taxi asking if I want to use the voucher for a ride from airport on my return trip (NO!) and that I have to contact Yelp for the refund. This is not a taxi service with a dispatcher. This is a guy who owns a car and a cell phone. BAD NEWS all around!

In my opinion, one of the safest BART stations in the Bay Area…read more A few years ago, we got off from this station mistaking it for El Cerrito Del Norte station. What'd did I know? I'm from DC (Daly City) and wasn't familiar with the East Bay BART stations; especially two stations with identical sounding names. However, it was a fortuitous mistake as it's in a fairly safe neighborhood with a strip mall directly across the station. There's also a good number of underrated places to eat in the area. It doesn't have a huge parking lot, or even a huge parking structure like some stations, but it's adequate enough for the area and it's easy to navigate in and out off. It has a very secluded and intimate feel to it. I also like the fact that the rails are elevated above ground so you can view the surrounding neighborhoods and area. It makes one's commute much more pleasant if you look out the windows and see the sunrise or sunset on any given day. Structurally speaking, its minimal, simple design doesn't stand out. However, the plum trees planted in the parking lot separates it from the rest. Especially when the flowers bloom in late winter. They almost rival the Cherry Blossom trees when it comes to beauty.
