Charged me $40 for an estimate, which I thought was excessive, but I went along with it. He gave me a reasonable estimate and I hired him. He told me that the job would take about 3 days, which I also thought was a bit long based on my experience with stone masons but, again, I went along with it. To make a long story short, after he started the wall, he revised the estimate upwards twice, and two months went by before the job was finished. About half way thru the job, I noticed that the wall was not level. He fixed it, but didn't offer any explanation for why his line wasn't level. After two months worth of aggravation, I ended up paying about 70% over the original estimate, and was left with a sloppy looking wall. A complete amateur job.

They were professional and worked very hard. The contractor sliced a big chunk of his finger off when the shower wall started hopping on the saw. He chose to save the shower wall(very expensive piece) and sliced a piece of his finger off in the process. He had cleaned it all up before I even knew what happened. He got it stitched up and was back to work. True dedication. The bathroom looks amazing. I highly recommend Brewster home improvement.
