Some things I liked here as a first time customer to this location is that I got in and out within 20 minutes despite a large line ahead of me. I also came back after realizing I didn't have a battery for my cartridge and the second bud-tender delivered outstanding service and which is why I decided to give 3 stars instead of just 1. On the other hand some things I didn't like is when I was verifying my age with my ID I handed it over to the lady at the desk expecting a quick glance check and instead she put it in a copier machine and after asking why they do that she just said it was so they could have a picture of me. Not only was that painfully uncomfortable to watch, there seemed to be little to no transparency about that, I mean I get the picture part but why not just take a picture right then and there like they do at planet fitness and so many other places instead of this very questionable and suspicious process. And at the very least I would like to be asked before they just jump right into something like that. Secondly the first bud-tender at register 2 seemed more interested about trying to rush me through the sale than actually providing a decent experience, while I was paying I handed him cash and asked what the change was so I could give an exact amount and he replied that the payment already went through and left it at that, I mean realistically is it that hard to push a couple buttons and redo the payment? Overall it's an ok place if you're more concerned with time over quality, I feel like your experience is mainly based on who helps you out. I also came for the Clean Green Saturday deal which was actually nice compared to other prices at other dispensaries. So I ordered a raw garden disposable to get home only for it not to work so I had to drive all the way back to this location lol then once I get there the manager Valery wasn't very helpful she told me I had to get the same one to avoid people switching them out when I was literally there less than 20 minutes. Worst Customer Service If I could give 0 stars or a negative rating, I would. I purchased a 10-pack of Coastal Sun pre-rolls in the Blue Dream flavor, expecting a smooth experience based on the product description. Unfortunately, the container was extremely difficult to open--it says to pinch it, but I had to struggle for 10-15 minutes before finally getting it open. To avoid this hassle in the future, I transferred the pre-rolls to another container for easier access. When I finally tried one, the taste was shockingly bitter--nothing like the "sweet berry juice and agave" description on the packaging. It was probably the most bitter pre-roll I've ever had, and it didn't taste like there was any flavor at all. I went back to the store to address the issue. A tall, lean staff member in a facemask assisted me. I explained the situation, but his response left me feeling dismissed. He opened the original container effortlessly, then said there was nothing they could do about the taste if I didn't like it. What bothered me more was the way he implied--without directly saying it--that I might have tampered with the product by transferring it to a different container. When I asked for a manager, a woman with glasses came over. While polite, she repeated the same message: they couldn't help me with the flavor and suggested I contact the manufacturer instead. First of all, this isn't about "flavor." The pre-roll was bitter--far from the sweetness described on the packaging--and that's not a subjective preference. Secondly, implying that a loyal customer is lying or tampering with the product is both insulting and unprofessional. I wasn't looking for a fight; I simply wanted help addressing an issue with what I purchased. This experience has left a terrible impression of the store. This place always asked to see my name on my debit card and then proceed to say that they don't take credit card but when I come with a friend who is Caucasian, they do not ask to see the name. They do not ask if it's a credit card and then when I mention something, she just laughed in my face and didn't say anything and I've been to other locations where I've asked them the question like oh did you need to see my name on the card like you're fine and ask me why I asked and and I say another locations like in Bellflower they like to see my name and they said that's weird that they never heard of that before. First, I've been a customer of catalyst for a while now and usually I shop at the El Monte store but tonight I went to the Bellflower store but when I went in the dude at the counter tells me that they don't accept new people after 9:45 PM. So my question is why don't you tell people on your website or somewhere where they can see it before they drive all the way to your store. I drove from Whittier to make a purchase and was turned away because I'm a new person even though I already shopped at catalyst before just not this location but also like people are walking in and you're turning business away because you don't wanna have to register them after 945 but don't put it anywhere on your website. Don't tell anybody until they get there and so for me, that's it lost the customer, that's taking customers for granted when there are plenty of other places to go. read more

11/3/22 It's another great resource for my auntie to supplement her cancer treatment options. There's so much I do not know about THC & it's properties...and everything about how it's distributed into the body. I got excited when I saw that it comes in transdermal patches. We've given our patients (in my inpatient surgical oncology unit) transdermal patches for antiemetics, so this will probably be no different (except it's not FDA approved) Ours last 72 hrs & are distributed evenly. The THC transdermal patch lasts 12 hrs. I have many more questions & the budtender was helpful but I'll have to ask auntie if she's willing to try this one first. Overall, the shop looks spacious although quite dark, not as neat & organized like Haven. The parking lot is fairly more sizable than Haven though. It's another avenue to explore. read more

Came here to buy a pre role and I'm not a big smoker like that. Came in looking for a sativa pre role under $20 and the guy who helped me (didn't get his name) was extremely rude. White guy with glasses patchy beard wearing a hat. Was asking him what types of strands of weed was the other pre roles and he kept insisting that it was just regular weed not any strand. This is by far my favorite dispensary!! I love the atmosphere of this whole place, every visit is better than the last to be honest. The guy that always checks in at the front is super nice and helpful, always asks me how I am since I'm sure he notices me there all the time. I love all the budtenders, but there are a few that I always say hi to no matter what! The homies are unforgettable and always so nice, helpful, and just awesome to catch up with. I've seen a few budtenders outside of the shop, and its cool to talk to them and ask how they are too. If you look up my name in the system I've been a loyal Catalyst customer for YEARS... I go to the spots in LB and have ALL GREAT EXPERIENCES. I arrived to bellflower at ~6:20pm on Tuesday 11/23 to pick up an online order. I walk inside there are 2 lines with multiple signs that say "online orders" with arrows pointing towards the main line. It's honestly confusing. The cashier at the main register had dark hair in a curly type bun. The Cashier tells the lady who stepped in an online order line that she'll take her next. I heard her (I'm clinically diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, and PTSD. Unfortunately, it affects my memory and attention span.) yell out when she's done with her customer she'll take the online order. The cashier calls next, I take only foot one forward and lady with the online walks up. NO PROBLEM, I TOTALLY FORGOT the cashier mentioned taking the online order next. The customer gets to the register and the cashier says LOUD "yeah, she heard me say online next. She even looked me in the eyes, so I know she heard me"... I was taken back by her customer service because I had no type of bad attitude, BUT kept my composure. I get to the register, greet her with a smile, give her my ID, and tell her I'm here for an online order. She smiles and says in an unauthentic tone "next time if you stand in the online order we can check you in faster". I further explain that all these signs with the arrows point this way confused me and I wasn't sure where to stand. I go to the online order line, the gentleman was extremely nice. Very frustrating walked out after buying the wrong thing and they wouldn't let me exchange it or return it and just pay the difference for what I really wanted I was forced to keep it and pressed to buy a battery from them for a dollar (i didn't have a battery for the cartridge I bought I thought it was a disposable) anyway they wouldn't help me at all ended up buying a plug n play and was forced to keep that cart that will be going in the trash now waste of money guy that served me after this headache to get my plug n play was cool that's why they got 2 stars other wise it'd be one.
