Why would parents drop 10 grand on a service that basically only amounts to hand holding through the admissions process? From the beginning we were told our son should be "realistic" in his expectations, and that it was a waste of time to apply to schools like UCLA or UMich. Well he got into both after we fired these useless grifters. Any kids that get in to the top schools were probably going to get in anyway. I'm paying extra money to give my kid an unfair advantage. It's not like we were looking for Rick Singer, but c'mon.

Not to boast, but my high school teachers were pleased with my writing. University admission officers are not evaluating a class of 30's essays, but faceless pools of applicants numbering in the thousands. Writing in such a way that catches those readers attention is Jodi's bread and butter. On a personal note, she listened to what I wanted from my college experience and gave me every piece of advice I needed in order to gain admittance (with fantastic scholarships to boot!). As any senior applying to multiple colleges will find, you lose yourself in writing dozens of essays explaining how much you love their institution. When I narrowed it down to my Top 2, the choice was clear, but I couldn't see it. Jodi led me through a visualization exercise that clarified the months of work I had done; I confidently made my final choice and could not have been happier with my college experience. College isn't cheap, but it is a crucial investment in your future. College Admission Coach is not cheap either, but it is worth every penny in order to make sure you're presenting your best self to the college of your dreams (and earning valuable scholarships in the process).

My regular interactions…read morewith David helped me shape my application and make the right choices regarding where to apply. Before working with David I had a general idea of my goals and how to approach them. David provided useful guidance and timely suggestions that were supported by recorded statistics and his experience in the field. More specifically, I learned how to craft an impactful application. With David's support, I was able to put together an application that highlighted the most valuable aspects of my resume which were phrased so as to ensure the information was clear, concise, and effective. David also worked with me to best align my personal ambitions and interests with a college that reflected similar values. He provided realistic suggestions and advice that made my goals achievable and was very encouraging throughout the process. I enjoyed working with David and I am deeply appreciative for his support and advice. I was able to get into my top choice college and would recommend his services to anyone looking for guidance as they navigate their college application process.

We help college-bound students and their parents identify future goals and build toward that success by winning admission to the most appropriate colleges. For the 18th year in a row, 95% of my students secured places at their first-choice college or university, and a majority of our students also win merit awards averaging $80,000 over four years of college. Perhaps the most important statistic is that our students are happy, fulfilled, and set up in their post-high school lives.

I have two very different children, one outgoing athlete and one introvert academic, and Eric took the time to listen and guide each one of them in a unique way that suited each of them. Enlisting Eric's support allowed me to avoid nagging the kids about staying on schedule and instead allowed us to enjoy this exciting experience together. Essay help is good, keeping the essay in your students voice, but helping craft the essay. I think choice of schools is what Eric is used to not what is right for the student. I didn't like the way parents were cut out of the picture after the initial meeting. I didn't like the way Eric takes vacation for a month at Christmas when a lot of applications are due. I didn't like the way he limited the number of applications- this is a numbers game the more applications the more options. I think it was too much money for the service and if you don't have the grades and test scores he can't work miracles. I think putting your money into test prep is a better option of your student has solid grades.

My daughter has been doing Kumon with Debbie since the summer after second grade. She started with…read morethe math program and, as a seventh grader, is currently working more than three years above grade level. A couple years ago, she begged to do the reading program too and worked hard to complete it within a year. Doing Kumon has given her confidence in her math skills, accuracy and speed. She isn't a huge fan of the extra homework that she does daily as she works to complete the math program, but she loves being the kid in her school math class that all the other kids turn to when they need help. She loves easily earning top scores at school. While the Kumon program is the same no matter which center you choose, the centers are not all the same. Debbie brings a warmth and encouragement (for both student and parent!) that we didn't see when we visited other Kumon centers. All her assistants go the extra mile for the kids. I don't think my child would have succeeded the way she has without Debbie's personal attention and encouragement. Debbie always knows whether my child needs to be pushed harder or given additional support, when E is slacking off or overwhelmed. I highly recommend Kumon in general and Kumon of Lake Grove specifically.

It used to be very good but ever since the old owner left and the new owner came and took over shit has hit the fan. The thing that she mainly does is trying to get you to read his emails what you should but that's not really stupid she also wants sent out an email about how this isn't a place to do homework in that it's a classroom but he still first day doesn't give a shit if your child learns anything and only cares if he makes a profit. He has made it so that there are the maximum amount of seats in there because he cares about profit and sets kids back randomly. When I went there he wants decided that enough is enough and the molded meal level also if you don't like it establishment and tell him you're going to move he will try to bribe you there's been multiple times when he's gone outside and offered an adult 100 bucks if they stay now that is downright dirty you ever go here again then go far far away go to a better one who won is good but when it's handled by the wrong person it becomes a cluster fuck. Last but not least the dude has made it so that there are very little rewards and incentives in fact if you wear a shirt with it in you'll get an extra prize because he needs the free marketing in order to stay in business if he didn't have it then he would surely be lost down the toilet do not go here at all he is a narcissistic piece of shit.
