I've had a great experience working with Karen, Mark and the rest of the staff there. It seems like a small operation and every time I call in, Karen is very receptive and quick to respond to my questions/requests. One suggestion on the mixed reviews and I can see it from their standpoint, if you don't yell at them or give them attitude, they will be very respectful and quick to respond. I was nice so Karen's been great with scheduling me in earlier than normal, getting Mark over to get the wireless up and running and waiving certain fees. She's been awesome and super sweet. Internet service is the worst that I have ever had. Slower than dial-up and completely unreliable. At times, not even able to load a website. Forget streaming anything. I've tried to run speedtest.net when service is at its worst, and that site can't even load. Had been told that 50MBS service was coming back in November...service continues to be abysmal. People have been responsive to calls and are friendly, but the internet service is absolutely terrible. read more

Catapulsion has been great. Service girl on phone is responsive. They've been to my home at no extra charge to "fix" problems - new router needed, etc. No issues here. Used them for 7 years now. They've even given a month's credit for referral! Only caveat: you may have to leave a message when you call - but they always get back to you asap. read more

The worst of the worst. Terrible customer service. These people would not answer the phone ever...unless you called the sales line. Would never respond to email...I thought you guys worked as an ISP??? Ironic you don't seem to know how to use it! Every service issue we had was our fault. I've been with Catapulsion for several years now. My internet speed is fast and reliable. Anytime I've had trouble, their response time in getting it fixed for me is very fast. High quality connection, knowledgeable assistance with WiFi, courteous, responsive service. What more can you ask for? I don't understand the several hostile reviews. The only problem I have encountered was one I created, and Mark sorted it out quickly and patiently. I moved to Park City in October and asked around then about Internet service. I'm going to make this very easy for you. I've been a Catapulsion customer for three years. My internet has always been pretty slow but I'm not home often so it hasn't bothered me. Last month I started working from home and the internet speed is TERRIBLE. I ran a test online and saw results of 9mbps. I quickly did a Google search and saw several service providers offering 40mbps for the same price of $49.99. I called Catapulsion with every intent of staying a customer. Here's how the conversation went! ME - "Hi, I'm calling about my internet connection. I think something may be wrong" KAREN - "Can you go to ____.com and run a speed test?" ME - "Sure, one sec. I've got 9mbps" KAREN - "Well, you're getting 3 times the amount you're paying for, we should be charging you $100 instead of $50. ME - "Really? I see several other companies offering 40mbps for $50". KAREN - "Well, I guess you should go with one of them then". So I obviously called the first company on the Google search and switched service. I called Catapulsion back... ME - "Hi, I need to cancel my service" KAREN - (she knew it was me again) "Ok, well you know you have to pay an extra month per our service contract right?" ME - "Fine, no problem, glad to be off your 9mbps" Karen and Catapulsion are a match made in heaven! read more

Very dissatisfied with Catapulsion internet service. The service is so slow between the hours of 11AM to 4PM that I can barely check e-mail. At midday, Speedtest consistently rates Catapulsion performance in the bottom 70 percent of all US internet service providers, with upload speed at dial-up rate (60Kb/sec). I do not recommend Catapulsion. You're probably better off with Qwest DSL. I can't stand to do business with Qwest, but Catapulsion's consistent poor service may very well drive me there. read more

I gotta say, best experience I've had with internet service. I've been with Comcast for years and just moved. Catapulsion was very responsive on phone, told me they'd have someone at my house to make sure everything was in proper working condition the day I moved in, and Marc who came was absolutely the best. Slow upload and download speeds nad its the same for the past 10 years while everyone else's service is getting faster.In short...they suck but some of our neighborhoods in Park City are stranded with Catapulsion being their only option. read more

I would not use them at all if I had a better choice, but my only other option is dial up. I frequently receive less than the advertised speed. Customer service is almost non-existent. When I finally reach someone I get excuses and if pressed they say "the speed you will receive is an 'up to' number and the top end is not guaranteed." Streaming movies in the evening is impossible even on lower definition settings. Frustrating is the best way to describe my experience. I feel ripped off every month I pay the bill. read more

They can't keep the billing accurate . they did this new upgrade to the service and now my downloads are almost as slow as dail Up services from years ago . Simply the worst internet provider I have ever experienced...including all dialup options. Daytime performance is OK, nighttime and weekend performance is horrible. This company is fully aware of their inability to perform in the evenings and weekends and continues to charge a rate for product they can't deliver. When paying for 20Mbs you will only receive 2 to 5Mbs on the evenings and weekends...maybe. Usually we are below 3Mbs. They have oversold their ability to deliver. unbelievably bad customer service and terribly reliability have finally driven me to leave. i have used this service for 4 years and watched it go downhill month by month. my internet has been down for 2 days. i'm writing this using the LTE hotspot on my cell phone. i have e-mailed them and called them several times. zero response. i have no idea who these people claiming the customer service is good are, but, best i can tell, it's literally non existent. the network has been a disaster for months. i've been losing service or losing access to dns servers twice a week. latency has been all over the place and often cannot support VOIP. when it runs, it's a good newtork, but the reliability is bad and getting worse. i have probably called them 12 times in the last few months. i have not had a single call returned. now my internet is dead, and i still cannot get anyone there to even notice, much less care. at this point, i would not use them for free or even if you paid me. if you cannot get comcast, internet is tough in park city, but these guys are appalling. use anyone but them read more

HOW DO THESE IDIOTS STAY IN BUSINESS?!!?! Um, probably because idiots like me pay for their (lack of) service. First of all, their Web site hasn't been updated since 2008. How do you NOT update your Web site in five years? Really? Second, their phones are constantly being turned off. I would say 90% of the time I call, I get a message from the phone company saying that their number is no longer in service. Third, the Internet service SUCKS. They claim that its the fastest out there with the most consistent signal...BS. Our service is intermittent at best. Fourth, their CUSTOMER SERVICE f-ing sucks; as in, there is NO customer service. When their phone does ring, no one answers. When something goes horribly awry, they will leave a message on their answering machine stating the issue, but no one answers and no one calls back. It's like they're afraid to face their angry customers. I live near their office. I'm about to drive down there and open up a can of whoop-ass. Which, lastly, makes me angriest.
