She forgot to bring extra daily contacts with her so I called Dr. Goerrs office on a Saturday morning when they were closed. He knew another doctor in KC and gave them her prescription so we could go to his office and pick them up. This past weekend I was getting ready for my grandson's birthday party and something scratched my eye. I was walking around with one hand covering my eye. I called Dr. Goerrs on his emergency line. He calls me back shortly after. First he apologizes for not answering my call but he just got off a plane in St. Louis and he hasn't even gotten his luggage yet. I tell him what happened and he sent out a prescription to my pharmacy before leaving the airport. We picked it up right away and I could start using it before the party started. I had a -10 eyesight so LASIK wasn't an option for me. I filled out the form on his website, received a call within a minute, they asked some more basic questions, scheduled me for an appointment. The appointment was extremely professional with great customer service. They are very upfront and honest about what to and what not to expect. They put everything in very easy to read writing, provide you with videos they developed (you'll recognize many of the staff members from your visit). Was I scared during surgery, absolutely. You just have to put your trust in him. You lay on a table, (in my case) you see a purple light and a white jellyfish thing and about four minutes or so later it's done. You sort of have "underwater vision" right afterwards but by the end of the night I was playing video games. The next day I was driving without issue and there was never any pain at all. 1000% recommended, wish I made the call years ago.

In all seriousness, I am still quite shocked when I woke up this morning and I opened my eyes and they just worked. I didn't have to fumble around on my night stand trying to find my glasses. I just had my procedure yesterday, I had been told I wasn't a candidate in the past for LASIK because of my astigmatism but now I can see!!
