Yelpers, when in Belmont, you need to stop into this business. It's hands down a must see for antique, memorabilia and nostalgia shopping... But, there is a very unique surprise here too... It will impress you for sure, details below! Recommend: I literally can not stress this very unique business enough. What has been built here by the husband and wife team is simply astounding! * I have no affiliation with this business or website in any way, but if you are interested in the history of this impressive early 1900's textile building, which was a economic staple to the area's history prior to and through WWI & WWII, I've left a link here (https://www.bisqueimports.com/History-of-the-Majestic-Mill) that tells a truly marvelous story, I highly recommend. Okay readers, this is going to be a bit in-depth but we write and share these reviews because YOU want to know the 'what, why's and where's' about America's amazing business venues and this business is one that I didn't expect... Hitting up greater Charlotte area I walked up to this business and loved the entrance icon, a 1970's era 'Bob's Big Boy' statue, freshly repainted by the owner to bring homage to the original design and it's a wonderful entrance piece to what's inside. For me, I ate at Bob's Big Boy growing up for years so I loved the iconic doorstep staple-piece! Greeted by the staff with a smile and quickly asked if there was anything I was looking for, I love this style of customer service because they often can direct you towards the right area especially if your time is limited. The store opens up to a well lit, very welcoming design with shopping carts ready to get you going. This facility is so vast, I recommend to grab one for ease of shopping. Just past the entrance area are restrooms and a sitting/resting area with vending machines. The sheer diversity here supplied by the vendors is mind-boggling and crosses nearly a century in articles you can peruse and reminisce through. Throughout this business, you'll note spacious walkways, extremely neat, tidy and impeccably organized vendor booths. Note the ode' to the rustic, creaky, wonderfully historic floors that tie this business with its tremendously rich past as it was a highly profitable textile mill from its inception in the 1900's. Look up and around to soak up the architectural beauty of this building's aged design and legacy framework; I absolutely love this when you find repurposed buildings and the owners have lovingly and detail repurposed this to what you see today. **So Yelpers, here's the bonus round(s) you need to know that there are a very unique couple of additions to this business, and I want to draw specific attention to them. The owners have created an absolutely stunning-gorgeous, rustic, exceptionally charming 10K square space wedding venue and a personally designed southern styled Boutique that has been hand crafted by the owner with impeccable design and broad products to peruse. This boutique is first class beautiful and taking the building's elemental make up and adding the artful design touch again, ties you to its past with brilliant interior design. Sincerely impressive... So let's talk about the phenomenal added gem here; the attached wedding venue. As a private photographer, I was flabbergasted at what I witnessed. The owners have included literally everything in this venue minus your catering. The website photos simply do NOT do this venue justice as beautiful as they are. This venue is enormous, hypnotizing and otherworldly gorgeous. I was informed this venue is so sought after that they have hosted almost 50 weddings a year so that should clue you in exactly how stunning this place is. I'll leave it at that and include a web link here but sincerely, the artful, enchanting design is nothing short of awe-inspiring. (www.majesticmillweddings.com) Friends and neighbors, the Catawba River Antique Mall, the added Boutique and captivating (Majestic Mill) wedding venue is absolutely a remarkable homage to the owners who have poured their hearts into this. PLEASE come check this out, you will certainly, be impressed.

What a fun place to spend an afternoon - especially in the summer when you need to beat the heat. There are many vendors and aisles to rummage though and find old favorites, things you didn't know you needed and everything in between. The staff is super helpful and there is ample parking surrounding the space.

Giving them 4 stars for being a clean, well-organized shop. However, this is not the place to go if you're on a serious hunt for antiques. I would guess that only about 30% of the merchandise is vintage or antique, honestly. That said, it's a good place for interior decorators or people who are looking for a mix of new and old decor.

Nice antique mall, I appreciate that they have shopping carts available and wide aisles throughout. I've found something every time I've come in. I try to come in at least once a week. A lit of vendors restocking on Wednesday.

Customers and vendors did not always wear masks

The staff were helpful. The customers didn't wear masks - probably 20% of the people had no mask. The booths are a mix of antiques, junk, and small design shops. With a few retail vendors in there too. We did find some jars for food storage

Lots of stuff to look at

I really like this Antique mall. Some of my favorite things in my home were purchased from here. I have been a regular since they opened. The vendors change frequently so the inventory changes a lot and I always find new things. I have learned that if I see something I like to not wait because chances are it will be gone by the next visit. Great rainy day weekend pastime.

    Outside the antique store!

Blasting radio, coffee in a pot at $2.49 a CUP! No Southern hospitality here! Prices are high, Hummels at $250? Those days are long gone! Clothes, lots of genuine "Made in China" Trump hats, reproductions, plus some furniture, dolls, glassware, etc. The better stuff and real antiques are in the back where we found nice clocks and some beautiful crystal. This is a great way to spend an afternoon!

Like most malls, the selection and stock ebbs and flows. Nice facilities. Spacious. I have visited several times and would go back again.

Went on a Saturday afternoon just to look around. Well 2.5 hours later I had armfuls of "stuff"!…read more Great random things and fun! Prices are great too! Selection of items is amazing. Now the best part of my visit was checking out, the cashier was friendly and helpful, but there were 3 other ladies there, and they were fantastic! We talked about the store, the prices, the items I had found, and even dogs. All of these women made my day! Thank you! I will be coming back!!

They will scam you out of your money!…read more What I do not understand is the contradictory information I have received. You informed me that the item was donated and even identified where it was supposedly donated. However, when I contacted that organization, I was told they never received my furniture. That raises a very legitimate question: if the item was not received by the organization you identified, what actually happened to it? At this point, I am looking for transparency and documentation. If the item was donated, please provide proof of the donation, including the date and recipient. If it was not donated, then please explain where it went.Your response focuses heavily on the contract, but it does not address the discrepancy regarding the item's final disposition. As a customer, I have every right to question why the information I was given does not appear to be accurate. From my perspective, being told an item was donated to a specific place when that place states they never received it creates serious concerns. I hope you can understand why that would lead me to question whether the item was actually donated, sold, or otherwise disposed of in a manner different from what I was told. I would appreciate a factual explanation and supporting documentation rather than further personal accusations about whose fault this is.
