I found many vendors with stained glass lamps and wall art, live edge coffee tables and cutting boards, NASCAR, NFL & MLB collectors gear. Classic reproduction paintings of Impressionist artists. For someone whose an interior designer, it could be a 'go to' spot. Michelle found a unique piece of tableware that her Grand broke and felt so guilty about, but this replacement would make all that go away. My granddaughters and I went to Mike D's Antiques and Estates in Gastonia on 321. The owners were extremely rude and racist. They followed us around the store, talking down to us. He began to talk about how one of the booth owners was moving to England and proceeded to make a horrible comment about Mexicans. My granddaughter calmly told him that it was offensive and she did not appreciate it because she is Mexican. He said "I know", got defensive and continued to make racist comments. They then told us to leave and not come back. They are very nasty people. Would not recommend.

They had alot of furniture, the prices are higher than you would think, even with a half off sale it would still be high. They did have some different pieces if you needed beds there were a few to pick from. My husband asked about some lawn equipment they were selling. The employee wasn't sure if there was a guarantee, because you can not start anything to see. They say it works but you want to make sure. He came back and said there was no guarantee. That's crazy. So they didn't make a sale. They did have some good prices on books, I love cookbooks and always see if there is one I have to have. I found a bread book all different recipes, hard cover for just fifty cent and in great shape! My Mom found a few things she was happy with. When I stopped by today they had a used table from Ikea priced higher than it costs brand new. Who wants a dirty, scratched up table for above retail prices? I'm not sure sure who is in charge of pricing things here, but they should be fired immediately as they are clearly incompetent and not on top of things.
