I do wish Malls had Carts especially when you buy so much to carry around without going back to the car. The entrance we went in it was pretty far and it's located in the security office. You just leave your license to get one. I was so shocked at how many stores are closed. It's sad to see Malls are dying and stores can't survive during covid or a slow economy. The big Anchor stores that use to be there are now discount merchandise stores,two big ones and a Belk. Still some smaller old favorite stores like spencers and clair's still here. They have a play area for kids and a area set up for Santa even though I didn't see him. For being so close to Christmas I was surprised it wasn't busier. The food court now consists of maybe 5 or 6 places and only like 3 were open for business. Will definitely go back for the 2 big Discount Stores they had a lot of items marked down from Regular Prices. When returning the Wheelchair there is a sign on the door with the phone number to call . The security guy was friendly and even walked us to the only door that was unlocked that they don't lock when the mall closes. He even allowed us to leave the store with a cart (they are not supposed to leave the store.) Since it was full of bags!!! I don't know how you would carry everything otherwise. It's a big Mall and we will be back!

Over the years, they have really tried to make it more appealing. They have a nice play area with life size game pieces for chess, checkers and Jenga. They now have a hang out room. Bring a book, borrow a book, drawing area, fuseball table and comfy sitting areas. The stores here always clean and organized. The food court is spacious.

Bubba's honors military service member with a discount on food purchases and has a sign thanking us for our service. You can shop for housewares, local foods, boutique clothing and jewelry, toys, Lake Life and Lake Norman local gifty items, like tshirts, pillows, tea towels, etc. There is so much to look at here, and trust me, you will find something you love! The staff there is very friendly and the store is so well stocked. The prices are very fair compared to other boutique style stores, but I'd say the Village Store has the biggest selection of home and gift items in the Lake area. They have begun putting out their fall decor, and they really have some beautiful displays during the Christmas season. I really enjoy shopping here.
