If I could give them a minus six I would! Here are the six main issues (not a thorough list) 1) Appointments are hard to get and usually at least 2 weeks away. 2) As soon as I walked in, I heard the staff talking about another patient in a very condescending fashion, it was embarrassing and none of my business but they didn't seem to care. 3) As I was waiting for the vet, another owner walked in to buy food. He asked "What do you know about hydrolyzed raw food?" The response floored me. "I don't know much about it, but I can tell you it was most likely formulated by a bunch of hippies who don't know the first thing about a proper diet for cats." I don't know about hydrolyzed raw food either, but I do know that vets in general are recommending raw food for cats at a much higher rate in the last decade because it is healthier for predators and prevents a lot of major health issues. This vet's knowledge of healthy food is from the dark ages when people fed their pets the cheapest kibble they could find, resulting in massive increases in cancer, thyroid problems and a whole host of other debilitating impacts. 4) When the vet came into the room, she did not introduce herself, I am not clear who it was I was talking to. It felt a bit disrespectful, like she didn't care if I knew who she was or not. She didn't use my name, didn't ask about the cat, just launched into the whole drama about rabies as though I had no clue about it. I have rescued cats for 25 years and am all too familiar with this disease. 5) The appointment was for a simple "sanitary clip" as my cat has long hair and tends to get stuff caught in her bloomers, otherwise she is perfectly healthy. Staff insisted she have an exam first (additional cost added) and told me the vet would do the exam before the clipping. The clipping would come after she was poked, prodded and had a thermometer inserted where the sun don't shine (another ANCIENT way to take a temperature on a pet). She would likely need sedation after that (another cost of course) to "protect the staff" since she might not cooperate. Ya think??? 5) Despite having seen my cat in the past for this same procedure they made a really big deal out of getting a vaccine history. When I made the appointment, I should have been told to bring her vaccine records, not when I showed up at the door. They called other vets in the area but the rabies vaccine they insisted she have (not required by the county BTW) was administered a few years ago and nobody could find the records at the other clinics. The vet insisted she give my cat a "booster" which I declined because I have been advised by other vets not to give them too often as they can cause health issues. The vet sneered at me "so you are declining a rabies booster?" my response "Yes, I am declining" she sat back in her chair like I just hit her. "Without a booster, I won't let my staff handle your cat because if they get bit, the health department will need to get involved...." we then went around about the examination. Which brings me to number six. 6) I told her I didn't want to pay for an examination if they were not going to do the clip, she said "so you are declining the examination?" I again nodded. "Ok, I will notify the other clinics that you have declined a rabies booster..." which sounded oddly like some kind of threat. By this time, I was pissed off and practically ran out the door, my cat still in the carrier. I vowed I would never allow these people to handle any pet of mine. I will not return to this piece of Sh** masquerading as a vet clinic. This vet needs to pack it in, she is a freaking dinosaur! Spread the word, if you love your cats, don't take them here!!!! read more

I was given a reasonable (low-ish) quote for a spay but... the spay, the pre-exam, and the shots ended up costing me a total of $500 or $600. I can't remember which because it was a year or so ago. I was getting my neighbor's cat fixed and I went here because I could get her in faster than anywhere else... the owner was letting her cat run around loose. I probably will not be going back because the cost ended up being so much higher than what I was expecting and I'm low income. The pre- exam is a separate appointment before the spay and it is required. What happens at the pre exam is the vet looked at the cat... That's all. But I get that they have to check to make sure they aren't sick. If you want a good price for a spay and you need it done fast, I recommend Sweet Home Veterinary or Brownsville Veterinary. Brownsville is the cheapest spay you can get anywhere besides WAG and the old pound. If vets cared about helping reduce the animal overpopulation problem then they would keep spay prices low. Keep in mind if you are getting a stray cat fixed, you must tell the vet that they are your cat, otherwise they won't do it. read more

We took a stray that's been hanging around in for a nasty eye infection. What does Miss congeniality do? Start talking worst case scenarios. Brilliant! cut right to the worst case scenarios as you proceed to talk about doing more expensive, elaborate testing. Ohhh, it could be cat aids-or kitty Leukemia! We can do the simple fast tests to see, or a whole battery of tests and find 'everything' out. OK. Here's a stroke of genius: how about phrasing it as "let's test against the worst possibilities..." Meanwhile, before we even knew if we had a 'Dead Cat Walking' or what's going on with his eye-which may be the factor for the inflammation going on in his mouth (apparent secondary) . Dr. Denture was oh-so concerned about his teeth. "Oh, he's in pain, "I can tell" Wait, whut? "He doesn't act like it, and munches crunchy kibble like it's nothing. (Blank stare), then: "When I touched the area he flinched, I could tell it was painful". Now I have that blank stare. Didn't you note possible inflammation secondary to the eye infection? Why would you poke inflamed gums to see if it hurts? If some stranger started poking your gums, wouldn't you flinch too, whether they were sensitive or not? The only symptom we've noticed is his acting fatigued, probably from the infection. We've never seen him act or react out of pain at home" (ignores this input) "It's so bad, I can't even tell you how old he might be; he could be four, he could be ten-there's no way for me to tell" Doctor Dental has no idea how old the cat may be after close examination, but can immediately tell you it's in pain when it is not acting or sounding like it -except when Dr. Drill was jabbing that needle up his leg for a blood sample and circling it around like there may be a prize in there. What is this preoccupation with dental work? Is it your bread and butter specialty? Are your student loans getting you down? I understand not a few dentists have an affinity for inflicting pain...just saying. The test came back-and no kitty aids or leukemia. Thanks for upsetting the wife with that unnecessary morbidity talk, Doctor Zero Bedside manners. I forget Dr, Morbius' true name. I went to the Cat (Don't) Care web site to find it, but it's a joke. "Meet the staff!" they say, with one Veterinarian listed. One. No Vet Tech, receptionist or other staff is listed. So much for meeting the staff. Anyway, it's a stray and one would have to assume that this cat never had shots, right? That's what I said. Yet the Vet, Dr. Killcat, let the cat leave without its shots. Whut? I guess now he still has a chance to get kitty aids, leukemia or rabies for all we know! See ya next Tuesday! How did that happen? I went out to move the car in their tiny lot from off of the graffiti laden alley, of which the staff thinks noting of taking up the prime spots for themselves. Last visit, we parked out front, the appointment took longer than expected, and we got to pay a nice ticket. At least THAT vet was awesome. What happened to this place?? I noticed some of the staff starting to leave as I stood on the lot, airing a spilled gasoline fumes out. No time ws wasted beating feet out of there. I went to go back in to see how things were progressing, and the door was locked. Helloooo. You know that you still have a patient and owner in there, don't you? Nope. The wife said while inside, they shut off Dr. Dentist 's computer. "Sorry, didn't know you were still in there" In that TINY space? You didn't know? You didn't bother to check? You saw me standing out in the parking lot. Is that normal? Do random people normally just hang out in your parking, lot for no reason? Might I be a paying customer? Or maybe have no business there? Who cares! Not one fleeing employee cast even a glance my way! It;s Fred Flintstone at quittin' time! Doctor Morticia, who perhaps had something more important pending, didn't even finish what we were there for. No details about administering the drugs or what to expect, and no offering on technique after watching him struggle so. I sent an email Saturday to cancel the appointment for the following Tuesday. They never read it. They called Monday afternoon for an appointment "reminder" and what was the next thing they brought up? The dental situation.THAT is what they wanted to plan as the appointment focus, not his eye. THEN they asked almost incidentally, how his eye was doing. Forget this dump. 4 for my friends go there a LOVE it. As for me- I have had some very bad experiences. 1. The 1st time I took my cat's in, I had some blood work done on him and was told he has some issues that will cause his "Head to blow up". Weather or not that is the true I am sure there a MILLION different ways to say my cat needs to be on Meds besides his head could blow up! 2. So my cats been on his Meds for months now- I went in to get his nails trimmed and they: A: The Vet was SCARED of my cat!! How in the hell can you be a vet and be scared of a CAT? He wasn't even hissing or being rude at all before they rapped a towel around his head and held them down my his throat. I kept offering to hold my cat- but they YELLED at me and told me he would attack me. I've had this cat for 15yrs! I know for a FACT he would not have attacked me. B: While we were waiting for a Vets Aid to come into the room (about 15minute), before the nail trimming went down (you know cause the VET WAS SCARED OF MY CAT!) She started to talk to me a new herbal medication that would work for my cat. When it was time to pay, she charged me a Consultation. So my $17 nail trim turned into $100. WTH. The worse part about it is... I actually paid them. C: After I declined the herbal pills in till he is out of his current PX, the vet saw my Fiance rubbing my cats ear and then insisted that he has allergies and needs to be tested. Then in the same breath he has arthritis and MUST be tested today. Oh and wait my cat goes out side a few time a month while I am doing yard work so he MUST have the FIV and needs to be TEST ASAP! D: After declining the Allergy, the Arthritis & the FIV Tests & PX she continued to insist that his head was going to blow up and that I was not a good pet owner. E: Finally the Vets Aid came in and they started to use HUMAN fingernail clippers. I could have done that at home. I was coming in to get them done so they could be done PROFESSIONALLY with PROFESSIONAL Cat Nail Trimmers. Human Nail trimmers can crush and split the cats nails instead of cutting cleanly cause my little man intense pain! I have taken my cat to the vet before and I have NEVER had any of these problems. My past vet would have never had done that. It's a shame he retired. After my Fiance and I left- we both were SHOCKED and questioned weather or not THAT just HAPPENED!!! The ONLY reason why I am giving them 2 stars is because I have ONLY ever dealt with ONE of their Vets. My Friends who SWARE by this place have always gone to the other vet and had wonderful results. I took my cat to Cat Care a week ago and was satisfied with the service and happy with his handling,medical treatment, and cost. I noticed Chako had trouble urinating, a problem that we encountered years ago, so I was pretty sure I knew what was happening. Alarmed, I called Cat Care due to its proximity to my apartment, and was relieved to hear they had an opening that day. The receptionist was direct and concise; I'm not expecting a Starbucks barista when I call to make an appointment for my cat. I brought him in, and he was first examined by one vet (don't recall the name), who was friendly and told me his bladder wasn't blocked. Phew. Then Dr. Shea came in and gave me the low-down of possible problems. Chako was given a shot of something potent (seeing your cat doped up is rather unsettling!) , an assistant trimmed his nails (free) and then gave me an estimate for treatment. This treatment was to be done before Chako was diagnosed by a urinalysis, probably because we knew the likely problem. Here were the charges: $48 Examination $22 Demonstration (of how to administer an in-home under-the-skin body hydration) $19 Injection $17 Application of Revolution parasite medicine $33.50 Bag of recommended food + misc. medication and treatment equipment ...for a total of about $200. I was surprised by the price because I expected it to be more after this same ordeal three years ago (admittedly an emergency 24-hour vet). I took Chako home and treated him for a few days. I brought in a urine sample, and after a weekend passed, Dr. Shea called to tell me that the sample came back normal, and that Chako was fine. Yay! So, I had a positive experience with this office. I'll be taking my other one in for a routine checkup, too. read more

Dr. Patricia is a wonderful veterinarian. My cat has hyperthyroidism and she has visited here a few times for medicine, exams and to have blood work and urine samples taken. Every time we are treated with respect and my normally skittish cat is very comfortable with them, even though they have to stick a needle in her leg to take blood. They recommended a study at Oregon State for my cat, since she was recently diagnosed, and they have also recommended another clinic where she can get radioactive iodine so that she won't have to get medicine twice a day any more. They do like to sell their prescription foods, of course, because that is one way that they make money, but in my case I decided to buy some to maintain both of my cats' urinary tracts. $30 a month is a pretty small price to pay for the piece of mind I get knowing that they will remain blockage-free. I would definitely recommend this vet for anyone who has cats, since it is great to have a doctor who specializes in cats, and Dr. Patricia always makes a follow-up call to make sure the patient is doing well. And they give senior/student discounts! read more

Seems to gave gone down hill since Dr. Tran left. The vets seem to use out of date medical knowledge and equipment. No one has any knowledge of anything involving nutrition, and the food they carry is super expensive for being made of such questionable materials: 'meat' by-products, pork, corn, etc. The front desk staff is also super, super unfriendly. They're rude on the phone and in person. It used to be worth going there when their exams were comparatively affordable, but even that has changed. Spend your time and money elsewhere (Healing Paws, Bush, even The Veterinary hospital). read more

There will always be a soft spot in my heart for Dr. Shea after the wonderful care she has given several of my pets over the years. I have taken two rabbits, two rats, and my 14 year old cat to her many times. Dr. Shea is extremely thorough and super intelligent, and I always feel confident that my pets are in good hands. She and one of their wonderful vet techs were unbelievably kind and compassionate to me when my rabbit Luna passed away in their office this spring, and they treated her with such gentleness and love in her final exam. This meant more to me than words could ever convey. Dr. Shea and the techs treat your pets like their own, with love and respect. One of my rats died shortly after a visit to Dr. Shea, and again she was incredibly kind and compassionate. I received what felt like a very heartfelt condolence card shortly after both the death of my rat, and years later after the death of my rabbit. I agree that their front office staff can be rude, and they always seem to be running behind on appointments, so I routinely have to wait up to 30 minutes after my appointment time to see the vet, but I know from experience that they run behind because they take the time with each patient to do a thorough and wonderful job. The other vet with a Southern accent is also wonderful, and very gentle and kind towards my cat. I've always been able to get in quickly when I have an urgent issue, and have always been pleased with their service. My boyfriend took our cat in recently for an urgent problem, and he was very impressed with the service too. They have definitely earned a life-time customer, and I always recommend them to anyone with cats (or rats or rabbits). read more

The staff here are engaged in some kind of longterm personal drama that is intensely uncomfortable to witness even in the short time it takes to buy cat food. I don't have any experience with getting veterinary care at CatCare, and I never will, because my experiences purchasing my cat's special diet here have been so bizarre, there is no way I would ever bring an animal here for medical care. read more

We have used CatCare Limited for many years. If you believe your cats are precious, their veterinarians are a comforting presence. Dr. Shea has been both compassionate and creative when treating our cats and we have found her to be particularly valuable when we have been faced with end of life issues. One of the most laudable aspects of her personality is her willingness to say "I don't know" when the condition requires a specialist. Dr. Samsell doesn't work as frequently as she once did, but if she happens to treat your cat, you are in equally good hands. The office staff are competent and efficient. A couple of reviews have complained that they are "rude," but I see it differently. Their work is serious and important and they behave accordingly. If you want to chat endlessly about the weather or complain about the cost of flea medication, you may be told that it is time for them to move on to the next task. If you spent as much time in their waiting room as I have, you would be amazed as the stupidity they confront. Nevertheless, I have never witnessed anything other than professionalism on their part. read more

I have interacted with two doctors at the office, both of which are very knowledgeable, gentle and have been practicing in the Eugene area for multiple decades. Prices for treatment and products are reasonable and affordable (including for students on a budget). I felt compelled to chip in with a review after reading the negative ones here. I own a number of animals and have also done volunteer work with the Feral Cat Coalition spaying and neutering ferals, and humane society volunteer work. In other words, I've seen a LOT of the local vets in action. This allows me to take an informed pick of what I consider to be the best vets in town. Dr. Ann Samsell here at Catcare and Dr. Rena Cowan at Eugene Animal Hospital are my top choices. Ann is experienced, competent, good with animals, and really relaxes and takes her time with clients. Her staff is excellent as well. If you want a caring vet who has the experience to back it up, Ann is wonderful. They are less focused on getting you out of the office as quickly as possible and more on providing actual consultation and quality animal care than most vets. I find it hard to believe that anyone here was afraid of a cat. I bring a 38lb African serval to this clinic and nobody is afraid of him; I think that's a pretty good litmus test. If you're willing to draw blood from the front leg of a wiggling creature the size of four regular cats.... I'm going to editorialize for a minute here....vets and their staff rely on the use of their hands and eyes. The vet you see in the office is also your pet's surgeon. Feline teeth and claws can do serious damage (just ask the former animal shelter manager I volunteered with who was sent to the hospital by an 8-week-old kitten!). If they can't handle your cat without risk of injury, and you or one of their staff cannot effectively restrain kitty, it's not fair to expect them to risk their livelihoods and the welfare of the other pets they are responsible for through the clinic in order to clip its nails. That's not being afraid, that's being sane. In my experience the people here have gone to great lengths to get the job done patiently, effectively, and kindly. There are very few vet teams I trust with the welfare of my animals (trust me, I could tell horror stories), and this is one of them. Incidentally, I see Dr. Ann because her personality and approach to diagnosis and treatment is a good match to my own. That's the only reason this review references her and not Dr. Shea, whom I also believe to be an excellent vet. It's not intended to be any slight on Dr. Shea, who also has a squadron of loyal clients. This is a good clinic. read more

My beautiful Emdee was spayed at CatCare Ltd 9 years ago and has never seen another vet. About three years ago I had a very unpleasant experience with Dr Tran, and we hadn't been back since, but in March when Emdee had what we thought was a bad ear infection, we wanted her to go where she'd been seen before and hoped we'd see Dr Samsell or Dr Shea instead. This time Emdee saw Dr. Patricia Shea, who was absolutely wonderful; I told my husband afterwards that I wished there was a Dr Patricia for people who I could have for a doctor! While Dr. Shea diagnosed probable untreatable cancer at the first appointment, she gave us the space to try antibiotics and pain meds, which made Emdee much more comfortable, and for almost 6 weeks she seemed to be her old self. She gave us a whole lot of love and joy. Dr Shea also offered to do a more invasive exam or to refer us to a specialist. Last week Emdee started to fail. When we called, the staff fit us right in the same day. Dr. Shea and Kristine were incredible: warm, supportive, informative, affirming, and loving. To my surprise after Em was sedated and had been taken in back to have a catheter put in, Dr Shea came and sat with me. It was very comforting to have her there to talk with. I hadn't absorbed at first how severe the cancer had already been 6 weeks earlier; Dr Shea told me that after her initial exam, she had expected Emdee to have only a week to live. Instead she'd blessed us with 6 weeks. With their loving help, Emdee passed over in my arms, and I'm more grateful to Dr Shea, Kristine, and the amazing staff at CatCare Ltd than words can express. They kindly offered to send a bill so we could leave rather than having to deal with that at the same time. Unrelatedly, I have severe MCS due to pesticide exposure, and the office was safe for me, which was also a *huge* blessing. I highly recommend CatCare Ltd. read more

I adopted a cat in December 2015 in my hometown, and when I brought her back to Eugene with me when winter term started, I knew i would have to find a local veterinarian. Having only had my recently adopted cat for a month or two, I was worried when she exhibited strange behavior, and called and made an appointment with CatCare. My cat was declawed by her former owner, so she tends to bite when upset and is not very tolerant of being poked and prodded. When I brought her in to CatCare to be examined, the vet and vet tech tried to wrap her in a blanket, and naturally my cat, who was scared and in an unfamiliar place, tried to jump out of their arms. My cat wasn't even growling nor did she try to bite the vet and technician, yet they said she was "far too aggressive" to examine, and that if I wanted her to be fully examined, she would need to be sedated each time. My hometown vet, which my family has been taking our pets to for over 20 years, strongly opposes any unnecessary sedation, and so do I. However, because I was in a new state, had a new pet, and thought that listening to a veterinarian's advice was the right thing to do, I consented to having her be sedated for a full examination. Not only was it difficult enough to get an appointment for my cat that fit with my schedule (since CatCare's hours of operation are not the best for people with jobs), but they sedated my cat for no good reason. When I came to pick her up at the end of the day, they said they couldn't find anything wrong with her, and handed me a bill, which itemized several tests and bloodwork, none of which I had approved beforehand. I ended up paying around $300 for a vet to tell me nothing was wrong with my cat, other than the fact that she is "too aggressive." Also, I have a problem with how pressuring CatCare is in regards to the food and treats they sell. They appealed to my concerns for my cat and basically said that if I didn't feed her this specific food they carry, that she would have serious health consequences, even though she was already eating a food selected by my hometown veterinarian. I also question whether the veterinarians here have even been keeping up with current veterinary medicine, and I found the veterinary office itself to be outdated and unprofessional. The examination rooms looked more like bedrooms, and lacked the typical examination room furnishings one would see at a reputable veterinary office. CatCare is truly "Limited" in their expertise and ability to "care" for cats. The only thing they really seem to care about is making money. Since this horrible experience, I have taken my cat to Bush Animal Hospital, where the vets are well-educated (UC Davis vet school for the win!), qualified, and not afraid of my cat. read more

Knowing that vets have to deal with high stress situations regularly, I tried to keep the poor reviews I read here BEFORE going to Cat Care Ltd. in perspective. I've now spent a good bit of money on my two boys at this establishment so I feel its fair to share my opinion. I've been consistently underwhelmed by the staff and the vet who did my cat's dental surgery (however I do appreciate the care Dr. Shea provided) but today they downright pissed me off and lost my business for good. I'll also be sharing my bad experience with all of my cat loving friends and recommending that they go elsewhere too. 2/3 reviews here talk about the rude, unfriendly, and snippy staff. I've had the same experience, consistently. Cat Care Ltd's allowance of its staff to treat clients so poorly and to be so openly rude is an interesting business model. Especially considering most veterinary customers are repeat customers. To sell very expensive professional services and products and allow the front desk staff to be rude and condescending to customers is without plausible explanation. I won't even get into the wait time, both when you have an appt to see the vet, and to pay when you're done. I called today with a sick cat, probably just a UTI, but no doubt distressed and needing urgent care. It's Thursday at 8:30 am. I call Cat Care Ltd - despite the fact that my cats are their regular patients, "Kat" tells me they're busy and can't see my cat at any point today, not at all. "Go to the emergency vet" Kat told me. I ask if they have any arrangements with other local vets for occasions when they're too busy to see their patients. "NO," she said. "Can you recommend a vet?" I asked. "NO," she said. I'm incredulous at this point, "So my cat can't see his regular vet at any point today, and I need to go to the (very expensive and unfamiliar with my cat) emergency vet." Kat replies, annoyed:"We 3 emergencies this morning and appointments all afternoon." I took my cats here for a couple years and I was generally underwhelmed with the service I received. I do like Dr. Tran and the vet techs but I was not impressed with the rest of the staff at all. The front desk workers were condescending and snippy, and the other vet I saw kept trying to push Royal Canin products on me no matter what I was coming in for. She also became angry and upset when one of my cats threw a hissy fit during an exam - you'd think someone who works at a clinic specifically for cats would be able to handle this kind of issue calmly and professionally. For the prices they charge you can definitely find a more competent friendly vet clinic. read more

Staff not very helpful & tell you the doctor is too busy to return a phone call on urgent matter. Took my cat to the emergency room vet & returned home before I received a call back. Needs more licensed vet help in the clinic. Never taking my cat there again. read more

After several years of routine appointments, vaccinations, dental treatments, etc., I was relatively pleased with the dedication of Dr Patricia Shea and her team of veterinarians, assistants, front desk personnel, etc. Dr. Shea took copious notes on each cat (I had two) and discussed treatment options with me. Thus, it was unsettling to be advised to take my cat to an Emergency Clinic in Springfield for his end-of-life injection (I had written an e-mail on Thursday afternoon and received a phone call on Friday morning). I was told the office only had one vet and that they were "overbooked" for Friday. I thanked the receptionist, and promptly called Edgewood Animal Clinic (they did not know me) and explained that my cat was indeed ready to go. They said to come right in (they also had just one vet on duty) and we were treated with kindness and dignity. Cat Care called a bit later to say they would look for "wiggle room" in their schedule, but by then, it was too little too late. I will not be continuing treatment at CatCare Ltd after this. Whatever the issues were that day at their office, I will not forget the feeling of being brushed aside. read more

I had a great experience here when my cat was quite sick. Got a same day appt with Dr Shea who spent well over an hour with us doing labs and a thorough exam. I expected to get grief about not having done vaccines or previous exams but I didn't feel judged or pressured at all. Doc spent a lot of time giving me info about food flea treatments and cat enclosures and also explained everything she did and saw and her diagnosis and treatment recommendations. She recommended Science Diet and any canned food . The bill was over $200 but the charges seemed reasonable for everything that was done and the medicines I brought home. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The place is kind of folksy with labs done in the kitchen but very clean and warm. Kitty recovered well after he was treated for dehydration and given two antibiotics. I am bringing my other car in for a checkup. read more

Dr. Shea consistently provides truly outstanding veterinary care with patience, exceptional knowledge, compassion, and excellent follow-up. The staff at Cat Care have always been courteous, compassionate and caring towards me and my cat despite what other reviewers have said in this forum. I have been going to Cat Care for 11 years now, and have never had a bad experience. My cat is almost 17 and has severe Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which has been successfully managed by Dr. Shea and her team. The vet techs are skilled, friendly, and I trust them all. CatCare Limited has excellent veterinarians and support staff. We have had 2 elderly cats with diabetes diagnosed and treated at CatCare over the past 12 years. Dr. Patricia has been excellent in her care and treatment of them. Our current cat with diabetes is 19 and doing great (our previous diabetic cat lived to be 20). The support team at CatCare is caring, attentive and absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend them! read more

This clinic is awesome. They truly cared about my cat (he recently passed away). My cat had issues & they recommend expensive testing I couldn't afford nor wanted to put my cat through. They were very understanding with my decision. I was very impressed with their compassion & awareness on treatment pricing for me, always giving me an estimate before treatment & working with me to make it work for my budget. I think their prices are the best in town. And they aren't always trying ti sell me a "wellness plan" like some clinics & they always spent a good amount of time with my cat unlike those other clinics. read more

I've been taking my 3 rescue cats here for the past 11years. Not any more I don't know if its because Dr Ann Samsell is no longer with them, But I have read so many reviews as to how rude their staff are to people to people. I you go to the same place that long and see it getting worse up front, well somethings also wrong out back. Prices have soared Got charged $35.99 for one cats teeth to be CHECKED, that's right just looked at and told tarter Payed the now$52 for the exam then near the bottom charged Another $96 for a (healthcheck plus. one receptionist started to argue with me over a proceedure I was encouraged to do by these same vets She said she'd never heard of nor would anyone dare use 1st av animal shelter to by their revolution At 1/8 the cost Shje actually fell on floor trying to jump up and get in my face When I asked if she was new. She said I've been here longer than you 3 years? Nice math, as I said I'd used them for 11 Find any one else they gone down the proverbial Sh----r Today I paid almost $500 for 3 cats to be examined and one to get a rabies shot, I would have purchased the revolution myself if I'd known they charge $19 To do it. read more

Cat Care Limited is by far, the best veterinary clinic I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I recommended this clinic wholeheartedly. Kathryn and Laverne and Ann are excellent receptionists and appointment schedulers. They are all extremely kind and understanding and have bent over backwards to work with me. The vet techs are all extremely knowledgeable and exceptionally kind. Dr Shea is THE BEST cat vet in the entire area, hands down! I have only trusted HER with the care of my precious kitty, and she has been an amazing vet for my fur baby for many, many years. She is brilliant! So clear, honest, loving, incredibly intelligent, experienced and professional. I hold this clinic in the highest of esteem. If I were to procure another kitty, there is nowhere else that I would go other than this clinic. I can't express how grateful I am for this place. They all are amazing.
