I decided to give this place another chance after the last review they stated that we could chose meals etc. My husband and I wanted to try meal delivery again so I could lose weight, and he could maintain and we did not have to eat same food every day. The first issue I had with this company is they did not deliver my first meal. This was not their fault nor was not my fault. The Security company that mans our gates where I live had a software glitch. So myself or my husband did not get our food delivered for Monday. I called them once we left the movie theater (which we had phone silenced, thats why we couldn't get driver phone call) I explained that I knew this was an glitch and asked if I could drive and meet up with the driver. I was told no by the man who answered the phone, which he was also rude. I called on Monday afternoon during business hours and explained whaat happed and it would not be an issue again and could they please split the difference of the food. 4 meals, at $11.00 each is $44. I asked them to split the difference and give me a credit for $22. I was told no. I asked them cancel my meal plan. 2 people, 2 meals a day for 5 days is 20 meals a week which we were considering a long term relationship with them. But we have to understand in life, things happen. This should have been looked into from a longevity client perspective, but it was not. Salads were fresh, options of Keto and paleo and vegetarian made this a plus. They also have a $5 delivery fee for each day. read more

The food is decent and the daily delivery is really important so everything is fresh. This company needs to really improve their packaging. Everything is delivered in plastic boxes. That are non-recyclable. NUmber 5 plastic just ends up in landfills more garbage for the planet . Cook unity uses recyclable boxes much better. Also each order comes with a cooler pack It's fake ice that also must be thrown in the trash. They could easily use reusable ice packs. People can return them with their bags they can clean them and refreeze them. all this garbage created just for me to have my two meals a day is very upsetting read more

I love catered fit! Their whole process is what works for me...starting from being able to choose your daily meals! I've tried other meal prep companies and you get whatever the food is for the day, but catered fit gives you several options to pick from! I also love that you can mix up the types of meals (classic, meatless, paleo and keto) so you are not just restricted to one type of food! I love that they have options to deliver your food every day, I love this option as I like my food fresh every day and not sitting in the fridge for days rotting! So far, I love the variety of foods they make and I have my favorites as well. This definitely helps me maintain my healthy food goals, gives me zero excuse to eat unhealthy, saves me the labor of cooking, and it's so convenient & affordable!! read more

So seven months in, and we are still very happy. We have Catered Fit prepared dinners 1-2 times a week, and still find their meals to be as good as most local restaurants, and so easy to prepare. Just a minute or two in the microwave, and it's dinner time! And did I mention that they deliver each meal individually? You don't have to order a week at a time. Now that I've been a member for almost a year, I feel I can finally write this review. I signed up after receiving a promotion code and presentation at a nearby gym. I didn't care too much for the sales rep explanations and the initial attempt at assisting me with questions, but went forward with the subscription anyway​​. Once signed up, I received access to the online portal. There, I conveniently chose my weekly meals (desktop or mobile). Failure to choose meals on time means they will do it for you. You can add disliked items to your profile, and you will never get those. In case you mistakenly​ choose an item with a disliked ingredient, a pop-up alerts you. You can then decide to cancel and pick something else or accept the dish regardless. I have the COMBO MEAL PLAN. This allows me to pick ANY meal from ANY of the THREE daily options (3 Breakfast, 3 Lunch, 3 Dinner) PER category (Paleo, Classic, Meatless). That's 27 dishes to choose from. My default meal type is always paleo, but I venture out from time to time. The plan renews weekly. No contracts. No obligations. Cancel/renew when you want. Also, I can assign each meal as a man or woman portion (based on standard suggested caloric intake). I know they offer athlete and kid portions, but I'm not sure if there's an upcharge for those. Sometimes it looks like a small portion because it can be packaged so tightly​. I suggest replating on regular plates to appreciate the quantity further. The food comes packaged in BPA​-free containers I can heat up in the microwave. That's not the most ideal scenario, obviously, but it's extremely convenient. Whenever possible, I separate the items and heat up on the stove top, toaster oven or both to take a microwave break. Dinner is ready in 2:30 minutes. TWO MINUTES! No shopping and chopping! Nada! Such a time saver. The lunch and dinner food is DELICIOUS. They try to remain as fresh, natural, and local as often as possible. I can't believe they deliver such quality and flavor profiles on a catered service. I've yet to develop palate fatigue off Catered Fit! Note: I did try breakfast and found it wasn't as good as lunch and dinner. On my profile, I have NO beets, broccoli, and cauliflower. Well, while I still detest beets, I now happily eat the other two in the many different ways they offer them! I especially love cauliflower rice. Whenever I see a protein listed as "ground," "patty" or "meatball," I order it. It's their forte! Another plus? Paleo means maduros, tostones, yuca, and boniato are allowed, and they rock it! Once in a while, ​they even have Cuban inspired picadillo. Score! Meal delivery begins on Sundays and ends on Thursday afternoons. If I ever want to pause a delivery, I just do so on the portal, and it rolls over to the next paid day. I can choose to manually renew or have it done automatically. I don't have to be home to receive the food. If I'm not there, I can leave out their insulated bag, and they will leave the food with some of their cooler sleeves. Best of all, I love our delivery guy (Ed!). Like any business, there have been times when I've had questions and small issues. Service has always been friendly, efficient​, and just a phone call away. Everything has been f​ixed on the spot! To conclude, I'll say that Catered Fit has helped me lose 15 pounds (in addition to added exercise, of course). Even though I still clearly indulge on weekends, keeping those five healthy lunches/dinners a week has been key. Highly recommended! read more

Seriously, I do not understand all these good reviews. I'll start with the horrible customer service and the fact that Nina Willis, Customer Service Manager, refused to refund $134.99 for food that was delivered after the service was canceled. Canceled 8 days before shipping but she claims it was not in time. The unwanted order was billed 9 days before shipping. She rudely told me I would not be receiving a refund. I donated the food. I wrote to Ms. Ceinwen Harvey , Chief Operations Officer, explained the problem and requested a refund. I did not receive an answer. I wrote her again today. Now to the food. It looks like mush and tastes terrible. I tried the lower calories meals, the vegetarian meals were unrecognizable and even the chicken looked unattractive. My husband's first meal was the steak and he just complained it was tough and tasteless. He told me not to order anything else with beef. Then he told me not to order anything else. Delivery was left outside a secured gate, no notice given that it was here, sat in the hot sun for several hours before we discovered it. I requested special instructions be given to FedEx but Ms. Willis said it was impossible to request a delivery time. So all in all, this was a huge fail, and we're out $134.99 for something we did not order and didn't want. read more

I used Catered Fit for the 5-day plan. I stopped due to a long period where I was out of town and plan to renew next week. I'll break this review into three tranches: food quality, price, and service. The quality of the food was excellent. Food offerings were fresh, flavorful, diverse, healthy and tasty. Five out of five stars in that arena. The price was excellent. It's roughly $8.25-9 per meal. For reference, Blue Apron or Hello Fresh, services that deliver all the ingredients so you can prepare a meal, run roughly $10 per meal. And you still have to cook it; not to mention they're not necessarily healthy either. Service was also very good. Deliveries were on time, and most of my requests were answered promptly. My discount wasn't calculated correctly so I had to pay regular price instead of receiving the $50 offer I requested be used. In terms of issues I encountered a few: menu is set and users can't choose what they want; users only have 4 exceptions (options they don't want); and online account access is nonexistent. The customer service isn't bad per se; more so I think model is just outdated. All communication and account preferences takes places via email or phone. There's no way to sign into your account via the web or an app and make selections, see daily menus, update address changes, or renew/suspend/cancel your account. Not only is this inconvenient and undesirably reminiscent of the 1990's, it's also prone to human error (as you can see from other reviews where customer service experiments were apparently a nightmare). Another nice addition would be labeling individual meals so people know exactly what they're eating. My suggestion to the team is to invest in making the web the go-to vehicle for account access and changes. read more

This company hires individuals who come into residential neighborhoods not only speeding like they're on a race track, but continuously driving over property and grassways that don't belong to them. They have been asked numerous times (very politely) to have their drivers slow down and not drive over any property that doesn't belong to them, yet they still continue to do it every day they come into my neighborhood. Personally, I wouldn't care if their food was the best in the world. If you're running a company that hires individuals that do not show respect for the neighborhoods and the customers for which they deliver, they don't deserve my business. I would definitely not recommend this company for anything, and you all should be ashamed of yourselves! Teach your drivers to respect the neighborhoods in which they deliver. There's no reason on Earth these drivers should be speeding or destroying property that doesn't belong to them. read more

Terrible packaging. Fed Ex destroys the gel packs to keep things cool so they explode in with your meals. Individual meal packs are usually not airtight so they go bad very quickly and delivery times range all over the map so if you're not home, your food is getting warm. This company is food born illness at its finest. Most meals I've had from here have been sour. We've reached out several times and they don't really care. No effort to help make it right. The manager Nina Is so rude, thinks customers lie and always sides with her team. Missed several deliveries, they don't always zip the bag food in placed in, resulting in food not staying cool. Despite sign on door & several calls, they continue to ring the door bell occasionally. All steaks are terrible quality/cuts, very fatty & end up throwing away most of it. Had many times food wasn't delivered in the delivery time slot provided. Packaging isn't the best, had a few cracked containers where plastic was found in the food, dirty/slimy containers from food leaking. Too bad because the food is good, delivery and customer service are terrible. I could get past the delivery, but was so insulted the "manager" (you can't speak to anyone else but her), is so rude & doesn't acknowledge or believe the customers feeling/experience. I've tried other Companies who's portion sizes are much bigger, steaks are actually edible at other places. They do have a great breakfast and salad options. I also liked their variety of food selections. Not a lot of choices out there for food delivery services in this price point. But ultimately customer service is #1, which they don't have here. Terrible Experience. I ordered one box to try to see if I liked it. Box was delivered on Thursday. I wanted to cancel Monday after trying some of the meals. I do not wish another delivery. When speaking to customer service, I explained that cancelling orders and refunds are up to company discretion, and I would like yo be cancelled even before any more food was sent out. The worker then told me he didn't have the "time to see" if the company will credit the order back. What do you mean there's no time? I was very cordial and cooperative but this is ridiculous. I really want to like Catered Fit. Their concept is so great and if they actually had their stuff together I think I would be a very happy customer. Unfortunately, I've had to call customer service at least once a week about something that has gone wrong with my deliveries. Here is what I have been putting up with them. 1. They forgot to deliver a full day's worth of food. I called and told them my food was never delivered. They said that it's too bad and they'll credit my account for a full day of food in my next billing cycle.. OK BUT WHAT DO I EAT for the day they forgot to deliver my food!??? I rely on catered fit for my MEALS so I want to stick to the meal plan!!! 2. The following week my JUICE was missing from my meal delivery. So the food was delivered but the juice, which costs just as much if not more was missing from my delivery. I called immediately to have this issue addressed. Again, the customer service told me they will credit my account $8 in the next billing cycle to make up for it, and after asking kindly he REFUSED to send 2 juices the following day to make up for it. I don't want $8 credit, I want my juice delivered. I asked to speak with a manager because this person was not helpful at all and he said the manager was not in and that he will have a manager call me the following day. The manager didn't bother to call. 3. The customer service says they deal with "THOUSANDS" of orders per day so sometimes they forget to deliver the correct order.... or deliver your food completely, but since they are so busy it's ok!?? 4. There was a bug in my bok Choy today. Yup. I bug that looks like it's been marinated and cooked with my meal. It's disgusting. Someone getting Catered Fit in LA found a beetle in their meal, and I shrugged it off because I thought it was an LA thing and it would never happen to me in south Florida, but it did. That was the final straw. I'm disgusted. If management doesn't bother to somehow make this right I will have to cancel my membership. I really wanted to like it and when they are actually delivering food the meals are great. I think this is definitely a management issue. I've been on a meal delivery kick lately because I've been SUPER BUSY with work, working out, and fighting crime. Out of 3 places I've tried, and they are my FAVORITE. I chose the paleo meal plan with breakfast, lunch and dinner. The meals are absolutely delicious and there are so many options - you get 3 for breakfast and 6 choices for lunch and dinner. I didn't see any others with options like that. ALSO - they print the calorie counts on the boxes, which no other company does. They also have a convenient option to check off the boxes for the ingredients you do not want, which again, the other companies do not offer. The meals are clearly labelled with what they have in them. And, they charge a bag/ice deposit, but don't request the ice back like some companies. They just want you to hang the bag outside nightly (the meals are delivered DAILY too, which is very cool). They also offer snacks and coffee and stuff too which I did not try this time. The only issues I had were my meals were mixed up one time, and another time they delivered someone else's meal to my by accident. Both situations were rectified, though it took some time to get ahold of them. The only reason I am still not ordering from them is the cost - fighting crime unfortunately pays peanuts. I was welling to purchase another meal but was asking if they could give at least a discount(even if it's just free shipping) knowing that my package was stolen outside my front door. I love love love their food choices.. The variety of choices and flavor of CateredFit make me forget how easy it was to lose weight on the Paleo portion of their selections. I bore easily, ( I was drawn the way lol) and I have yet to bore with the choices they offer now for over a year. The service is excellent. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I've never had prepared meals that are so fresh and so much food. With only 300 calories I know I was definitely not eating enough food with my workout schedule. This has helped me lose 8 lbs within the 1st 2 weeks. The meals are delicious and full of flavor. BUYER BEWARE. The customer service is the worst I've ever encountered. Upon signing up for a program you are automatically enrolled into automatic renewals - of which I was aware. I did not like any of the food (it tends to taste like plastic). So I untoggled the auto-renew option for my account. I double checked this because not only do I dislike the food, but was headed out of town. I called their customer service line and Nina proceeded to yell at me that they can only refund the remaining three weeks, as opposed to giving me a full refund for their technical error. After I told them I would never order from them again because of that experience, she proceeded to let me know how unimportant I am because they already have 'thousands' of customers. It used to be a good company but quality of food and customer service has been doing down. My food was delivered to wrong addresses for many days even though I called and spoke with customer service, it took a few weeks to correct the issue. Also my food was delivered very late and the one other night at almost 10 pm with bag torn apart. Also I am tired of these drop in quality in food and delivery but I cannot get a refund. Best Meal Plan I've tried! Top choice for Miramar, Pembroke Pines area. I've tried Perfect Fuel, Deliver Lean, Fresh Meal Plan, & 22 Vegan. Catered Fit has way more meal options than any of those. More variety & more flavor. I've been using the service now for about 6 months. I have 4 meals a day. That's a lot of meals. The food quality & standard of prep, cooking, & presentation is consistently good. With other food services, I sometimes received undercooked protein (probably a result of low quality control prep). Other plans gave me off portions, mislabeled meals, missed or botched deliveries. Not Catered Fit - haven't had a problem once. I thought the daily deliveries would be a hassle. But, while the delivery time is a little early in the afternoon for a working person, it's packed well enough to stay fresh until the early evening when I get home. Plus, daily delivery ensures that the food is fresh (much appreciated after having issues with other plans that deliver for several days at once). Catered Fit even has the confidence to post short videos of their kitchen on social media. That seems like a small marketing tool, but it speaks volumes to their transparency. Plus, they run discount specials often - which helps to try new foods & save some $ if you order as much as I do. The customer portal is user friendly & up to date. And their customer service has been responsive & professional the couple times I've had to call. Whether you are watching your weight, tracking your macros, or simply looking for a tasty, varied alternative to cooking every day, I strongly recommend Catered Fit. I found them through a promotion they did at my gym. But, they taste sooo much better than what I usually associate with fitness concious food. Can't say enough good things about this service. First of all I'd like to say I'm not reviewing the food. I was at my gym the other day where catered fit had a table set up. The girl that was there said that they had a special that they were offering so that we could try it out and I told her I was definitely interested. She asked for my information which I wrote down on a clipboard and she said someone would call me. If she had asked for my credit card, I would have given it to her right then and there but she did not so I figured that she wasn't equipped to take payments. That was on Monday and this is Friday (no contact thus far) so I decided to call them myself. The person who answered the phone said that was a special that had ended and they would not honor it - they did offer me one day free which was substantially more ($33) than I would have paid with the deal. This is something that I'm looking to do long term and they're going to lose a customer over a few dollars when they were obviously at fault for not contacting me? Not very good customer service! I like that these services offer deals for first timers so that you can try out the company before you commit. I guess I can cross this one off my list :,-( read more

Cateredfit is the best thing that has happened to me. Seriously! You get fresh food delivered in the evenings to enjoy the next day. I love the different options they give you when you choose the meals, it's very easy. I do it from my cellphone the second they send me the reminder email. The food tastes really good, I reheat mine in the oven instead of the microwave and it comes out as if it was just prepared. I started using this because of my trainer Tamara, she recommended the paleo diet and I can see results. She gave me a discount : TAMARA25. For $25 off my order. Good food? Seriously tp the people who think this food is good do not know what they are talking about. Too much salt, too much fat!! Some of the meals were floating in grease. Too much emphasis on kale, Brussel spouts and other dark greens that all tasted the same. My stomach has been complaining since I started with this service. The spices used were all the same! The Thai food tasted like the curry and the Mexican food. Delivery costs were ridiculously high. Basically it was 50% of the cost of the meals for fedex delivery. I did however find customer service to mostly be good which is why they got two stars. read more

So happy & satisfied with CateredFit. It's been around 4 months of ordering. Something good I can say came out of COVID & working from home. I don't cook but eat very healthy so this is a lifesaver. I'm a pescatarian so I eat only fish dishes from here (I'm picky with my fishes & they're great) and I eat the vegan option as well. I'm always in awe with the variation & creativity of dishes. The recipes come from all over the world, it's always a different flavor so you don't get bored. Change is key for me & this has it.
