We had a huge Hula retreat for around 250 people and the crew from Choura was excellent.

Been coming here since they opened. My wife makes us visit every new coffee shop in the South Bay…read moreas she loves to try all the new things she sees on Tiktok. While some of them are okay, we always ALWAYS end up coming back to Corridor Flow the next week. Yes there might be a chic looking cafe with some fancy fad drink or a roaster just opened up their new industrial styled flagship store. But look forward to copious amounts of sugar covering up the taste of badly roasted beans or concrete blocks used as chairs and grossly high water to bean ratios. It should be a crime to sell over a 15:1 ratio. So why do we keep coming back to Corridor. Obv the coffee is great. The normal drip blend is something all coffee shops in the southbay should look to as an example. They used to use stereoscope beans which is known to be one of the best local roasters, and probably have a partnership with them because the roast is still exceptional. The coffee is flavorful, great mouthfeel, NOT watered down, just enough complexity to keep you curious but not so intense it is not longer balanced. If you actually like coffee, real coffee. This is the spot. It's like a slightly lighter cup of handsome coffee and a way better bang for the buck than blue bottle. They are constant supporters of artists and small businesses in the community, they have awesome style, like seriously their branding is legit. There are plugs everywhere. Like everywhere. Even in the back shaded patio. It's a great spot for getting work done. They even have an entire back area coworking space with private phone booths, printers, and all sorts of business supplies. The business is family owned and run. I forgot the owners names but the guy is an amazing individual and constantly is walking around connecting with people in the shop. I recently complimented someone on their style and the owner happened to be sitting across from me working, and then complimented me for being aware, present, and noticing things that made other people smile. This guy literally complimented me on complimenting others. Dude is meta af. The community is great and this is a big plus. This coffeeshop tends to attract just really honest and good-hearted people. I've met so many cool people here that are passionate about pursuing great things and moving humanity forward. In this time and day where there is so much hate and animosity, this is one of those very rare places where people can connect again. There is seriously no other coffee shop like it. It's comfortable. It's perfect for first dates, casual lunches, catching up with old friends, taking the kids somewhere (they have a dedicated children's section), grabbing a great cup togo (thank you for that dedicated pickup parking spot). and of course, getting work done. We've introduced at LEAST 30 people to this hidden gem over the years, and almost every single one of them says this is the best coffee shop they've ever been to. Yes parking sucks. But it's worth it. I looked around for parking for almost 20 minutes a couple months ago. Blame the city, not the coffee shop. They basically shut off public parking for the whole street opposite of the shop. I hope you guys open up another location someday. I know it's hard to expand in this day and age, but you guys seriously have a fantastic formula. Bravo friends. Cheers.

The shop has a huge lounge where you can relax, do some work, meet up with friends, or get the creative juices flowing. Decor is great they have a lot of local art, with a lot of slice of life hand drawn portraits by a local artist along with a small coroner of buyable showcased art. The coffees are very artisanal, thinks not the run of the mill black cup of coffee with sweetener pumps so be prepaid to pay a premium but very and fair affordable price. Coffee is well made and very balanced with flavors nothing overpowers the entire drink. I had the G.O.A.T, RIP Kobe, and the wifey had the Calamansi Tonic. Both refreshing. Staff was amazing made me laugh immediately, great way to start the day!

Service is good, the tea is very affordable and brewed very strong in somewhat large, absurd yet cute ceramic elephant shaped tea pots, complete with special sponge attachments to absorb drips. Why they can't use a teapot design that doesn't drip as much to start with is probably a conversation for another day - one I didn't bother to have... Given how affordable it is, you can't expect it to compare with high end tea rooms like you'll find in London, and that's totally okay.

Teapots are also cute. Service seemed slow but I also went during a slow time. But servers seemed nice. They seemed to have lots of tea for purchase and a decent selection of teas for their afternoon tea service. Now for the main event. Tea and food. Tea -Earl Grey Imperial. The bergamot was very prominent but it does mention that in the description. Tea was good but the flavor not to my liking. Food- its not really good. I got the regular tea service with the chado salad. Salad was basic, but did taste good but not worth the extra 6 dollars. Macaroon was stale and disgusting. Madeline was store bought. I know cause it tastes exactly like the one I purchased from Costco. Scone (blueberry) this seemed made in house or atleast baked fresh and it did have a good flavor. It came with a clotted cream (i don't think it was though, a little more whipped cream like but good) and an orange jam (tasty). The sandwiches they made were mostly good. They had a tea egg, a chicken salad, cucumber and lox. Two complaints - the scallions on the cucumber sandwich was unnecessary, the lox seemed a little too dry. Since this was the second time I've been here, I would not go for the afternoon tea. I would go for just the tea and maybe a scones. Im not sure if the paninis are any better but not sure if ill try it. This place had a lot of potential. They should improve their food.

(I put in the request via email about people with a good amount of energy, since I noticed a different in two parties I had been to, but none of the requests that I had placed via email mattered. I asked for high energy and mentioned that my daughter loves music, and they had lower energy and had to ask them to turn up the music. I mentioned that we didn't need a cake since she was getting one later, and they brought a cake.) At some point during the birthday party, I had to actually ask one of the ladies there to turn up the music because we could hardly hear it. That was really disappointing since my daughter really loves music (which I had mentioned in my email to them earlier that week). They didn't do any singing or karaoke since we hardly even heard the music. Super disappointing. It's cute in the sense that the kiddos can dress up and get their makeup and hair done and they did a great job at that part. I also liked that they took photos and then airdropped them to your phone after. The way it's set up, the birthday kiddo rings a bell to ask for more food or whatnot for her friends. The whole set up honestly doesn't seem to foster the values I want in my kiddo, but for a one time thing, I suppose it can make the birthday kiddo special. I feel like they could do something more fun like ringing the bell each time someone said birthday or something to that effect. Given my experiences here as the host of a birthday, it's cute but wouldn't do a birthday or event here again just given the overall service. Also, you'll end up tipping the people helping out, and that will be extra (I think we paid almost an extra 100). From a parent perspective, it's a little awkward. You are told to put "drop offs encouraged" but a lot of PV moms end up hanging out or not knowing if they should stay or go. I've paid similar amounts to other types of birthdays and have definitely felt like the value was worth it. This place, not entirely sure, but understand it's an institution and place of tradition in the area. You have to bring your own food, but they don't serve cake. Make sure you bring socks.

The lady who does the makeup, acting and orchestrating the flow of the party was pretty amazing and in character at all times. She was quick on her feet and funny. The interior was a little girl's fantasy world. They had costumes for boys too that included Mickey Mouse. There were tons of Princess dresses and matching footwear from sandals to heels to boots. The sizes ranged as well from little toddler girls to bigger girls. There's a fashion show room with a stage and tons of stuff to look at. The tea party room had a whimsical giant heart shaped table. The party I went to had a princess character do story time but I'm unsure if she's provided with the venue or if that's from a separate agency. It seemed like the Princess was familiar with the space. The makeup room was fun with two makeup artists. The girls got to do their hair, nails and makeup (or face stickers). The bad: I wish they tried a little harder to involve my shy kid. I know they don't have time to spend coddling shy children nor do they want to be pushy but I think a little encouragement would've helped with a few of the kids. The interesting: They don't allow kids to eat messy cake so they instead have a candy plate with cotton candy, sour rope, icing covered animal crackers, cookies and more. The teapots don't have lids (perhaps for quicker refills and because toddlers might not know to place their other hand on top to prevent the lid from falling).

You can tell this team takes pride in what they do. The wine tasting was beautifully curated, and the staff did such a great job walking us through each pour, sharing helpful details, and making the whole experience feel relaxed but still elevated. Every question we had was answered with ease, and the pacing was spot-on. Dinner was just as impressive. Our table shared the chicken, steak, and salmon, and every single dish was outstanding. The chicken was flavorful and perfectly cooked, the steak was tender and rich, and the salmon was beautifully prepared--fresh, delicate, and full of flavor. Sharing everything family-style made it even better because we got to try a little of everything, and honestly, there wasn't a single miss. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. We felt genuinely taken care of the entire evening, and it made the night feel special. This is the kind of service and dining experience that makes you want to come back immediately--and bring friends. Highly recommend for a wine tasting, date night, or special occasion.
