The sign up process is simple but a little long. It consists of a survey that is completed on the website so that they can gather some basic information about you, which I assume are for classification reasons and to match you to focus groups and studies. Once I completed that initial sign up survey I have been contacted several times through both emails and phone calls. These emails and calls are basically screeners for the focus groups to make sure you qualify for the study. I have qualified and been chosen for several studies over the past year. These studies take place at the office downtown and have ranged from 1-8 hours. Compensation has been anywhere from $75 to $250 for my time. I even had one experience with them where I had a study scheduled that had to be postponed until a later date. New Orleans Perspectives went above and beyond and sent a small compensation due to the fact that the study had to be postponed. I can't wait to work with them more in the future.
