Previously I have had pretty bad experiences with make-up artists who don't really take into consideration your facial features, bone structures, etc. and just create the only makeup that they know how to do well. You end up looking like everyone else (I am sure you have seen countless faces like those on Instagram). Nicole did an amazing makeup on me (I was a guest at a wedding) which got me multiple compliments and what was also very important -- I felt really beautiful and comfortable in this look. It was a long day and my make-up looked amazing during the whole wedding (11am-2am). I'd definitely recommend her if you want a world-class make-up artist.

I will further explain... *On Groupon it states "Haircut and Balayage for $89" I called Yvette to ask about her availability before purchasing the Groupon & when I mentioned to her that I would be purchasing the Groupon she told me not to purchase it and that she would HONOR the price stated on Groupon. *After booking my appointment she asked for a current picture of my hair & a picture of the end result that I wanted. I sent her this via text messages. *The day of my appointment I showed her additional pictures. Yvette had a clear understating of the color (caramel brown) balayage and haircut that I wanted. *Yvette began dying my hair & after she finished rinsing it she decided to let me know of the price change. She would be charging me $120 instead of $89 because I have a lot of hair apparently. This information would have been useful before she began dying my hair. *She then went on to say that she will remove the part that states "haircut" from her post on Groupon because it's too much. She clearly did not want to cut my hair. She only trimmed the tips despite the fact that I had sent her PICTURES days in advance showing her my HAIR LENGTH & the hair length that I wanted. Again, this information would have been useful to inform me when I first arrived to the salon and showed her additional pictures. *Bottom line, I felt tricked into her services. I did not get the hair cut that I wanted OR the hair color that I wanted. It was a complete disaster. My hair color looked cheap, as if it had just been bleached. It was so yellow that I had to purchase a hair box dye from Wallgreens and re-dye my hair myself the next day. *I would not mind spending $120 if the end results were what I wanted and asked for. I'm very disappointed. I wasted my time and money. Lastly, I also let her know that I have a tender new piercing in my ear and to please be careful, yet she yanked it very hard with the comb. It hurt alot and was swollen the following day. My over all experience was awful. Save yourself and go anywhere else but here.
