Words cannot adequately express how grateful we are for how wonderful Madeline/Happy Bark & Tails…read morewere on our wedding day. It was so important to us that our two pups be included on our big day, and Madeline made sure they were both included and so lovingly cared for. One of our pups is 15 years old and as anxious, adoring pawrents we were worried about her ability to navigate our wedding venue and the excitement of the day. Those worries quickly dissipated because Madeline cared for both our pups as if they were her own, and we effusively recommend Happy Bark & Tails to anyone who loves their pup and can't imagine their wedding day without them.

My now-husband and I were in the midst of planning our wedding when we decided to adopt our beautiful puppy, Oreo, and we wanted to ensure that he could be a part of our wedding. Thank goodness we found Happy Bark & Tails. From our first meeting, the owner, Madeline, was informative, and caring, gave us a clear idea of what to expect on our wedding day, and took the time to answer all our questions. Every step of the way, Madeline was patient, responsive, and put us at ease. We even scheduled a meet-and-greet a few weeks before the wedding with Madeline and her husband, Gabriel, who is also a co-owner of the business. We were certain that they would not only care for Oreo but treat him like their own baby. On the day of our wedding, Madeline and Gabriel arrived at our hotel and immediately took care of Oreo. They put on his cute "best dog" scarf and bow tie and handled him while my husband and I got ready for our wedding. They walked him, fed him, played with him, helped him pose for pictures with us, and treated Oreo like family. They transported him to the venue, took him back to our hotel, and stayed with him until we got back. We couldn't have asked for a better company or people to work with! They also documented our wedding day with photos from Oreo's perspective. The gallery of photos was beautiful and something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. I highly recommend Happy Bark & Tails for all your wedding pet care needs. They were great to work with and we have already recommended them to another couple!

If I could give zero stars, I would…read more I trusted Annie's Pet Grooming with my dog, Peanut, and I deeply regret that decision. My dog came home with cuts behind her ears, nails that had been quicked to the point of bleeding, and an uneven shave that was far shorter than requested. Her whiskers were shaved off, and within a day she developed relentless itching. We later found multiple live fleas on her despite her being on monthly flea prevention. I returned to request a refund because I did not believe this level of care was acceptable. Instead of any concern for my dog's injuries or any attempt to resolve the situation, I was immediately met with hostility. The owner called the police, had a report taken, and had me trespassed rather than addressing my concerns. While I was there, I personally observed the owner owner's dog that appeared to have numerous fleas bites. That only adds to my concerns about the condition of the facility. What shocked me most was not just the condition my dog was returned in, but the complete lack of accountability. There was no apology, no concern for Peanut's well-being, and no willingness to acknowledge that anything could have gone wrong. The physical injuries have been upsetting enough, but what has broken my heart most has been seeing the change in my dog. Over the past year, Peanut has slowly learned to trust people after coming out of her shell as a rescue. Since this grooming appointment, she has become noticeably more hesitant around strangers, and I've had to hand-feed her meals because she hasn't wanted to eat the way she normally does. Whether that's from pain, stress, or simply the experience itself, watching that confidence disappear has been devastating. Afterward, I went back and carefully read older reviews. I found multiple customers describing experiences involving dogs being injured, shaved much shorter than requested, concerns about fleas, and complaints being met with hostility instead of accountability. I encourage anyone considering this groomer to read every review--both positive and negative--and decide for themselves. Every groomer can make a mistake. What separates a reputable business from a bad one is accountability. In my experience, there was none. There was no apology, no concern for my dog's well-being, and no attempt to make things right--only denial, hostility, and escalation. My advice is simple: if your pet's safety matters to you, look elsewhere.
