A very lovely family owns this place, the awkward part is they live right next door, but that's also nice if you need things. Our family has purchased a home in the area and since we've been renovating it, getting a hotel for the night was a requirement. And it had to be affordable. As my mom and I learned, hotels in Sullivan County are pricy, but this place is doable for two room for a few nights. The motel has the usuals: tv, bed, mini-fridge, . My only complaint? Something about the motel is odorful. I don't know if it's my stepbrother or not, but I could smell the mildew. Loved this motel! Great price, good location, super clean, quiet, and fun eclectic decor. Looks like a little log cabin the room, with colorful linens, a spotless bathroom, and little fridge. Not cookie cutter in any way. You can tell the owner takes pride in running an outstanding business. Ok, so there were no reviews of this motel on Yelp (though we found some other pretty good reviews online)...which leads me to having to say they were wrong. On the bright side, the owner was very friendly & nice. Its a mom & pop kind of place that we usually love. No here's the downer, it was not at all clean. I always check under the mattresses for any kind of evidence of unwanted friends...thankful to say this place had none. BUT, it looked like it had not been dusted or vacuumed in a long, long time. Seems like they were just changing the sheets & cleaning the toilet after each guest. I'm disappointed to leave this review...we are not picky people on decor or anything like that. And like I said, the owner was so sweet. Don't think we'll be back :( read more

I had a last minute trip to Liberty to visit family and needed a place to stay. This place was recommended by my brother and I'm glad we came here. The owner has gone above and beyond other places I've stayed in Liberty. The price was very reasonable. My trip was for a few days but for medical reasons needed to be extended and the owner did everything she could to accommodate my last minute request. She's very friendly and always checking to see if we need anything. The room is clean, very clean. I can't say enough positive things about this place. Going to be the only place I'll stay everytime I come to Liberty. I highly recommend staying here. read more

Clean motel quiet no problems owners were nice probably would come again enough parking for two of my cars

Anyone looking for a clean, well maintained, affordable, quiet location... this is the spot. Before checking in to this location, I was in a very poor location of Liberty NY. Actually, I checked out of the filthy place I was in and slept in my car for 4 hours. Before 8am on a Sunday, I called the Catskills Owner and told her my story. She said " give me two hours and I will have a room ready for you ". That she did. She had turned the AC on to welcome me as well. The place is SPOTLESS. No funky odors, no decay, no hair in the bathtub, no spider webs.... need I say more. She has TV (HBO), AC (cold), Fridge that works, microwave, coffee maker, great cell service and wi-fi. My room had two double beds, was very homey and creatively decorated. There was a walk in closet, spacious bathroom, and I felt very secure staying there as a single female traveler. I could not have asked for more. The grounds are well maintained, she has security cameras that face the parking lot, and there is diversity in the lawn art sitting about the grounds. You will need to drive 3-4 miles to get gas, groceries or find a place to eat. Stop in at the Liberty Diner and you will not be disappointed. Super food, home-cooked, and very affordable.
