The one thing I wanted to eat were the rocky mountain oysters mainly because I haven't had it in years and ALSO so I can persuade my 12 year old to try it without being told exactly what is was. Yes, I am that mother. She isn't an adventurous eater so I thought I would try anyway- unfortunately they ran out of rocky mountain oysters but that was the only downer of the night. I can honestly say, I cant wait to make the 12 hour drive back to Declo just to eat at this place again. After we ate and went home, all we talked about on the drive back to Albion was how delicious dinner was and how we cant wait to come back. She will not refill your water for two hours. She will not ask if you want dessert. You will witness her do this while taking the plates, filling the water, and offering dessert to everyone around you, including people who came much later. When pressed, she claimed she thought I was 'in a meeting' because I was on my laptop - despite me not talking, wearing headphones, nor having Zoom up. In other words she lied to our faces. You know how, when you are at a restaurant, you look around and meet eyes with your server and she comes over? Ever do that for two hours - in a small place where she is constantly less than 6 feet away - and have her NEVER do that? Draw your own conclusions.
