We appreciated the arrangement of coffee creamers. I had the Cattleman's breakfast with ham. It's a very thin slice, but filling. The Hubbs had the hamburger steak breakfast, which was just okay. Passing thru our way from Hayburn to St George. My husband Yelped this special gem and we (family of 5) agreed on giving it a try. My husband had the bacon cheeseburger (jealous I didn't order for myself!) my son also had a burgers! Thin and flavorful (nearly a smashburger style) and my daughter and I shared the combo basket (2filets of fish,2large butterflied shrimp, and 2chicken strips plus fries and bread) I also ordered the side salad, hard to pass on a salad with olives and beets! Everything was so good I didn't even take pics of everything. Our server was very pleasant and super sweet to my kids which I absolutely love! The gravy wasn't over-powering but could have used some extra flavor. The other items were also a bit underseasoned, but it was an easy fix with added salt and pepper. Great authentic diner in a tiny town--definitely worth getting off I-85. I especially recommend this diner to you folks visiting the west because this is as real as it gets. All the locals are here in their pickup trucks, beards and caps. We had the Cattleman's breakfast--one with sausage and one with bacon (4 pieces!). The eggs were cooked to perfection and the country hash browns excellent. We ordered a biscuit rather than toast and literally watched the cook whip up the batter--we had to wait while they baked but they were brought over hot right out of the oven, honey and butter on the side. What a gem!!!! We were driving between Salt Lake City and Boise and we were hungry. Saw bikers and farm trucks and knew we found the place. We like diner food so this was the place. They had sweet tea and so most of us had that. One of our party had chicken strips and tater tots and another had a chicken sandwich, onion rings and vegetable beef soup. Both said the food was great and the batter was on them was wonderful. I shared a patty melt with my friend and had home cut fries. Found not a thing wrong with the meal. Well isn't this a gem out on the border of Idaho - Utah We stopped 15 minutes before it closed and they were so great to still serve us and they were great. 5 stars for service 5 stars for food The double bacon cheese burger was on point and the fresh house hand dipped onion rings were amazing! I wanted to try their biscuits because yelp raved about it so I had them make me an egg biscuit with cheese. I took the bottom off to try it with jam and it was awesome savory and sweet way of eating it. It was huge! And if I didn't get enough carbs our family ordered the huge cinnamon roll that was perfect from the outside bite to the inside. The kids meal was $1.25!!! For mac and cheese which was from a box but the fresh cut fries made up for it and what kid doesn't like kraft cheese?! Steak salad was huge and yummy. We like how they chopped up the steak. What a fun find in a small town while traveling. It's like this diner was plucked out of central casting. Unfortunately, if you're "not from around these parts" you'll clearly get the eyeball from some of the more senior, local patrons...which--when combined with an inexplicable fly issue--explains the mark down. We drove in from City of Rocks, early in the morning, on dirt roads. As soon as I gained cell signal I looked for a spot to eat, expecting nothing in an area this remote. I saw Mollie's and decided to give 'er a whirl. SO SO GLAD I DID! Super-classic exterior. Like a diner from the 50's, but not in a cheesy "trying too hard to look classic" way. Our waitress was incredible. Frequent coffee refills, speedy service, and awesome conversation (we chatted about cameras for a while). Oh, and she was probably about the same age as me, but still called me sir :) Food is a cut above the usual greasy spoon setup, I got a breakfast plate (forget the name) and everything on it was unique. A really Great meal and we also got a Shake will return for breakfast and this is one place I hope we come back to and stay here in our truck. It's peaceful. And we were able to take a great walk here in this town..WE came back for Breakfast and the breakfast plates were huge, we took some biscuits and gravy with us. I also like that others were able to get the cinnamon rolls and steak salad and see those pictures and my man was able to get his breakfast the way he likes it, three eggs and a pancake and his sausage. I really hope we can get the onion rings next time and the cinnamon roll and I'll probably get a steak salad that looks delicious in someone's photo. This place is historic. It is run from day to day by the grand-daughter of the namesake, Mollie! Our kids stopped here in their moving truck in 2013 when they were moving to the Pacific Northwest. That picture of our daughter, the Coke emblems, and the counter sits in our kitchen in OKC even now! We ordered breakfast and hot chocolate. The food is great. The service is homey and excellent!
