    Spring rolls

We ate at Cau Ut Kitchen and everything was fantastic. We ordered the spring rolls, two phos, and a grilled pork rice plate, and every dish was so delicious. Even though they were very busy, the service was still friendly and fast. We were greeted right when we arrived and even asked if we'd like hot tea, which was a really nice touch. Great food, welcoming service, and a great experience overall. We'll definitely be coming back!

Stopped by here on a Sunday night and it was packed! It's right out side of City Farmer's Market in Duluth. We ordered a few dishes to try and they were all pretty amazing. It reminded me of Cali Viet food. Tastes the most authentic around Georgia! The workers were all so nice and made sure a few times someone took our order. They asked if we had to wait a long time for the food in which we didn't. Totally recommend

Authentic Vietnamese food. Enjoyed our meal and will come back again. My favourite is banana blossom salad.

Service was bad, brought out wrong dish, refused to give a new one and we were forced to eat it.

The Caramel Macchiato was definitely on the sweeter side, but it paired surprisingly well with the savory takoyaki. I do not feel as though downtown Duluth truly captures the amazing food scene of the city, but again, an old friend did like it enough to tell me about it. Inside was pretty spacious. High ceilings and bright. You have to go up front and order, and they'll give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. Pretty standard so far. It's not too loud, even with the music playing in the background, so not bad for hanging out with friends after the food is done, though we didn't. We were all pretty disappointed with our food. It wasn't bad, thankfully, it was just meh. We could've literally drove 5 minutes away for better, so we left as soon as we finished. The good thing is you get to choose what protein you want with your dish, which is nice. However, the chicken katsu here is thin. Also, the K-Fried chicken doesn't really mesh with the pasta. It's like a skewer on the side of your main dish. You can eat them separately and be happy enough. I was ok with the bulgogi, but I would've expected better from a Korean establishment. I haven't tried every single protein option, but I won't lie, tofu in pasta isn't the most appealing to me. For the main dishes, it was pretty bland, especially the omurice. You need the egg and the protein for flavor. The Schezwan pasta wasn't even spicy. At least the carbonara was creamy as it should be.

I've had the Ddukgalbi (open faced burger), the burger (with egg!), kimchi pasta and salad. Everything was on point and nicely plated. Some things like the burger (12.99) are super reasonable, and others like the kimchi pasta (17.99) are pricey, but they are all very well made and delicious. I really liked the burger, though it was impossible to eat like a burger (requires fork and deconstruction). Dont come here if you are in a hurry! Come to relax, nice place for a date or business meal.

Well, hate to be frank, but our Souffle Pancake was just very disappointing. While the pancake was nice and fluffy, the toppings and presentation wasn't even close to being as good as they used to be. I felt this was new management, with a whole, new style of doing desserts maybe? In any case, we did think the pancake tasted good...but it was just lacking in the creamy topping, as only the top layer had this creamy base. The lower 2 pancakes had no cream on it...and tasted quite bland. Even the strawberry sauce was minimal...so minimal, I went up to ask for more. Also, the decorative toppings, including the strawberry, were just BLAHHH. If you come here expecting the Strawberry Souffle Pancake of the past, you'll be disappointed. So nope...just not pretty enough for Instagramming. Made me wonder if the rest of the desserts have gone down as well?? For drinks, my husband had Cappuccino, and I had this Oohlong Tea. Not pictured, but the presentation was just passable...and the taste was just OK. If I recall, their drinks used to be presented beautifully as well as their desserts...but from the look of things, that may no longer be true. Guess I may give this place at least another try. Who knows? Maybe it was just an off night?? Hopefully I can upgrade the review on my next v visit...should the dessert and the drink look and taste better. Fingers crossed??

The Second Level / Upper Floor is reserved for if you are going to be ordering/dining in for the pastas and/or savory foods. I only tried their coffee today on the first level. I did go upstairs to check it out and did see a bunch of people upstairs just sitting and chilling on their laptops with their coffees/drinks; so they may not really enforce their "reserved for pasta dining only" rule. Not sure. Ambiance (First Level / First Floor) - clean, nice, laid-back, chill, cool environment. Casual setting. Cool architecture, design, layout, and decor. Can get loud inside as ceilings are high and can get echo-y, especially if there are alot of people. Also, there is music constantly playing in background. Service (First Level / First Floor) - customer service was quick and straightforward. They were nice and polite. A+. No complaints here. Coffee (First Level / First Floor) - tried their "Korean Iced Coffee" for $7.25. It was one size only and one price at $7.25. It was delicious. Almost similar tasting to a Vietnamese coffee in my opinion (both are delicious). That strong, brewed coffee flavor with this delicious milky, sweetened condensed milk taste. I am not exactly sure if they used sweetened condensed milk in the Korean iced coffee, but it sure does taste similar to it. It's quite good. Also had a "Large Hazelnut Hot Coffee" with creamer for $5.95. It was okay. Total with tax for the two drinks was $13.99. Keep in mind that the WiFi is on your receipt as a QR Code at the bottom. So if you want to use the WiFi, ask for the receipt and/or keep the receipt so that you can scan the QR Code in order to use the WiFi. There was no password on the receipt, only a QR Code that you need to scan. Overall - Yes I would recommend this place for a nice little coffee stop. Check it out for yourself. Enjoy!
