What a mystical, whimsical magical, place this is. It is old school Florida and super cute. I love it.... If you are a history buff like me, then you must visit. The stores are all adorable and mom and pop businesses. They have holistic stores, antiques, clothes, a tearoom, an art shop, a mini chapel and so much more. They do wedding events here and this would be such a gorgeous setting for that. A real gem!!! Check out my many, many photographs to get an idea!!

I can't believe I hadn't been to this place before! I just loved it. It's so relaxing and it was a beautiful day. There's lots of shade, fun stores to visit and good places to eat. It's a beautiful place to relax, walk around, sit and just enjoy the day.

Looking for free parking? Near the homestead area? This chill spot is great for individuals and/or families. They have cute shops and cafes you can buy/eat from. I went on a week day and there was hardly anybody there which was lovely, as I took it upon myself to have a full blown photo shoot with my friends. Very nice scenery and great way to unplug while not breaking the bank. I wish I got something but one of the shops was closed and I didn't get anything from the library either. I think this is a great spot to do homework out, take a leisurely stroll, or buy from vintage small businesses. I think it's a great way to get outside and I enjoyed my Oreo milkshake from the Latin Corner Cafe. Def check them out!

Went to Cauley Square this weekend to get a Perfume they carry in one of their stores and tried different scent as at the Therapia by Aroma store where I picked the Musk Mallow perfume and a Deep Hydration face moisturizer and a Rose Butter Face & Body Cream! I love that their products are natural and good for you! I love all their products! They feel amazing on my skin and penetrate deeply into my pores! I'm excited to try their other amazing products! There's parking everywhere along the Square!

Cauley Square is a gem - a quaint little historical plaza area with charming stores and cute places to eat. Definitely check out the tea house and all the little thrift stores. Especially a cute place to stroll around during the holiday season.

I've been a couple of times to Cauley Square Shops, and it's a really nice place to feel like you're away from the city. It has a lot of gardens to walk around through, and view the botanical areas, peacocks, and cats roaming about. Some weekends there are car shows, and there's of music, and a couple of food trucks, really nice place to hang out. Though it can get a little packed on event days. There's parking next to the tea room, alone the road, and also additional parking at the end of the street as you drive through the square. Sweet Haven Books, I would highly recommend visiting. They have a lovely porch, and the inside is filled with books and the owners are so sweet and welcoming. The store even has a section for children to play in, read books, and color. It's really sweet, with a well rounded selection of books. Also, they sell macaroons. I've also had brunch at the Tea Room, and though it's alway been packed (know that it will take some time to get a table) - it's never disappointed in service or food. The Bellinis are also great! Just don't be surprised with the little bit of chaos between putting your name on the & getting seated. The location has only grown in popularity. There's other little stores, like a clothing thrift store, a small art gallery, and activities like painting spread through out. It does look/feel like a little old town. Just peruse and enjoy.

This place is really cute and in the middle of the most unexpected area but there really isn't a lot to do. I came here on a Friday morning and there was barely any parking but overall not a lot of traffic in terms of people. I was able to walk around and see the shops and gardens in about 45 minutes. It's a cute spot for pictures with all the quaint little shops and greenery around. I highly recommend visiting the book store that is there. That was my favorite part of Cauley Square. I did see a lot of people dining at the Tea Room. Overall cute spot but nothing out of this world. I say a visit is a must to cross it off your list.

Finally made it out to this magical place with some girl friends for a tea party! The restaurant is nothing fancy but it's really cute! The ambiance is really cute. The food and service was great too! Great place for a birthday or special occasion brunch or lunch.

The Cauley Square Shops is a restored historic railroad town. It was a happy day when Henry Flagler brought the Florida East Coast Railway to the Redlands of Miami making it easy for the farmers to ship out their produce. In 1903 pioneer farmer William Cauley owned 10 acres along the rail road racks. He started off by building a 2 story Spanish style stucco flat iron warehouse. From there packing houses to ship tomatoes north in the winter and homes to house his workers sprung up. A saloon and bordello were added and Cauley Square developed a rough reputation. A hurricane, economic downturn, and less reliance on an agriculture economy caused Cauley Square to suffer a downturn until the city of Miami was going to tear it down. In stepped Mary Anne Ballard, an interior designer and Redland resident. she purchased Cauley Square in 1949. During her retirement restoring Cauley Square became her passion. She had some of the pioneer homes brought in and in 1979 the Cauley Square Tea House opened and other historic cottages were restored. Hurricane Andrew in 1992 dealt a million dollar set back to the project but Ballard found funding for repairs and by 1994 Cauley Square was declared a historic site but was still in financial danger. After Ballards's death her heirs sold Cauley Square to Frances Varela in 2001. She poured millions of dollars into it. After 10 years the grounds were landscaped and 25 structures were restored including a small chapel. Today Cauley Square is a charming collection of two dozen Old Florida cottages, shops, restaurants, gardens, event space, and galleries. Cauley's warehouse that used to have an iron staircase that led to the bordello now has an aviary on the first floor and offices on the second. In a nod to it's history an old red cabooses sits near the entrance. Cauley Square is the last railroad village in Florida and one of the last in the country. I had a wonderful afternoon exploring Cauley Square. During the year they hold a lot of events here. While I was enjoying a visit to the aviary, tea house, and the shops, a wedding was being set up outside. You can book an airboat ride, sit in a salt cave, eat, shop, hold an event, or take home a feathered friend, all in this one area. If there is one downside to Cauley Square it is that parking can be scarce. As a lover of history and cute boutiques I really relished my visit here. If you are looking for a different kind of outing in the beautiful Redlands than look no further. Cauley Square's historic village is a true gem.

Such a hidden gem! Cayley Square has cute boutique stores, art stores, tarot card readers and an amazing Tea Room decorated with vintage paintings, tables, chairs, dishes, utensils and tea cups. Great place to visit on a Sunday afternoon.

There use to be a food truck back in the days at night, (maybe 8 yrs ago) that had these amazing quesadillas with a bunch of different sauces on it. Does anyone know if it's still there?

I have been there multiple times and I have never seen a food truck.

How can one adequately describe a place like no other and still do it justice? Haus Fashion Lab…read morefeels more like a museum than a store.... a museum where you can actually afford to take home beautiful piece of art or fashion history! The owner, Emilio Uribe, is a fabulous modern-day renaissance man, collecting (and creating) tons of interesting clothing, shoes, jewelry, handbags, other accessories and artwork from both vintage and up-and-coming designers/artists. One never knows what to expect when coming back to Haus Fashion Lab.. The owner makes absolutely sure that the store, just as the customer's experience, is continuously evolving. Every time I go back the store seems to have re-invented itself with a new layout or new line of clothing/accessories or newly-acquired vintage items. HFL is fully committed to detail and to providing customers with a vast array of interesting, beautiful objects and personalized service. On one occasion, I witnessed the owner styling (and doing make-up for) a celebrity for a red-carpet event while agreeing to make custom pants for another customer's 12 year old daughter (to match her mother's) while coordinating a fashion shoot going on across the street at Wynwood Walls.... and he still had the time to make each and every customer feel welcomed as he/she walked through the door! I cannot say enough great things about HFL. There is something for everyone... whether you are male/female, young/mature... and whether you can afford to spend $30 or $3000. It is the absolutely perfect place to buy a unique gift for that person that has everything (while picking up a few fierce pieces for yourself!).
