We have USED CAV now for four homes. Two brand new builds and two already built. They are outstanding with new builds in that they want to understand how you live, watch and listen. They did superb with pre wiring as well had providing and setting up equipment. They tuned out rooms to perfection no matter what house we had. Their service after installation is equally awesome. As for houses that were not new builds, they were creative and solution oriented and there was nothing we could throw at them that they could not provide a great solution for. I was having problems with our TV system after a lighting storm. I asked Custom Audio to come out and take a look. We had used them before to change from an Elan system to regular remotes system. They charged me $3600.00, which I thought was excessive, but I paid it without question. After the lighting strike Custom came out and assessed the damage. They came back with a quote of almost $12,000.00 to replace the total system which was "fried". I decided to get a second opinion and the service man fixed the total home streaming in 2 hours for $230.00. He $1500 per hour. I complained to them but they still charged me $400 for the consultation. I paid it, but told them I was very dissatisfied. They said " we're sorry". Buyer beware. read more
