I wish there was a 3.5 star rating. I literally just finished eating my first meal from Cava and wanted to write this while my impression is fresh. I had a lot of high hopes for CAVA and was very excited for their opening. I ordered via the app. I selected a 12:15 pm pickup time. It was ready at 12:07. I selected 12:15 for a reason, as I knew I wouldn't be there till a little after and wanted it as fresh as possible. But ok. No worries. They were being efficient and I can't fault them for that. Anyway, presentation left a lot to be desired. It looked so sloppy and all thrown together. Unappealing and disappointing. I was hoping to be able to try each dip separately and gauge their flavor profiles, but it was all one big bowl of slop, so I have no idea what any individual thing tasted like. The bowl was also only half filled. The portion felt skimpy and disappointing. I wonder if since I ordered on the app they did such a sloppy, skimpy job. Maybe they would have made it with more care if it had been ordered in person. Bowl was DRENCHED in dressing. This may have partly been my fault as I made modifications to my bowl and added tahini dressing in addition to the Greek dressing to comes with. I expected a drizzle of each- as that's what it specifically stated on the app, "Drizzle on Top"- but looks like it was poured on heavy in the corner. Since it was all slopped together I decided to just mix it all up and go for it, but my goodness- the amount of dressing was a lot, even for me- and I love a saucy dish- so that's saying a lot. The overall flavor was good- bursting with delicious flavor. But a bit salty and perhaps since it was just too over sauced, it was too strong. I will def try them again, as I love Mediterranean food and they are very close to me- and next time I will ask for the dressings on the side and I think that will help a lot. read more

Tried CAVA recently and I can definitely see why it's been trending. The food overall is fresh and full of flavor. You honestly don't even need to load up on sauces to enjoy it, which says a lot for a "healthy" spot. That said, they do have a great variety of sauces if you want to mix things up. The pita was a standout. Super soft and really delicious. As for proteins, the honey chicken is easily the move here. On the flip side, the steak was pretty disappointing. Bland and tough, not something I'd order again. Be prepared for a crowd. The place was packed, and online orders were running over an hour behind. Parking is also a headache, which doesn't help the experience. Prices are fair for what you get, and the food is genuinely tasty. Despite a few downsides, it makes sense why this place is so popular right now. read more

CAVA IS WORTH IT!!! Delicious mediterranean custom bowls. Prices start at $11.55 and increase depending if you get selected meats and avocado. Unlimited toppings, rice, and lentils FYI ^.^ Since it was opening day we waiting close to 45 minutes but definitely worth it. Once the crowds die down more we will be back. The food was fresh, lots of flavor, and staff were very friendly. The ambience was modern and clean. Parking was a bit of a mission but that's normal for the weekend since this shopping center gets pretty packed. Highly recommend to anyone! ^.^ read more

Ooooo I been waiting for this one!!!! My bowl was: Arugula and white rice, braised lamb and spicy lamb meatballs, and a bunch of toppings. I had been waiting for cava to open for the longest so when i found out it was finally open i was SUPER excited. I went one of the first days it opened so naturally the line was vvvvery long, I didnt mind waiting this day of course but would never wait that long for it again. The bowl was delicious!! The lamb was amazing, flavorful, tender just perfect. The spicy lamb meatballs were a great pair with everything i got. The pita chips were okay, a bit oily, i'd probably prefer the classic pita over the cooked ones. overall definitely will come back again when the hype goes down to not wait such an insane line read more

After months of waiting for this place to open, the food was pretty good, everything tasted very fresh and the Honey Harissa Chicken was delicious with a little bit of a peppery kick to it, service was a little on the slower side but I'm assuming since they just recently opened that everyone's just getting the hang of things. Tried CAVA for the first time, wanted to see what the hype was all about. I waited in line over 45 min. In my opinion it's not worth the hype. They ran out of pita chips and the tahini dressing. I personally don't like that they place the greens in the bowl first (bottom) and the add the warm rice on top it wilts the greens. Since I'm plant-based I opted for the falafel. But a fan at all they're hard, tiny and chunky with whole pieces of chickpeas in it. The staff isn't very informed on what food items contain dairy or egg. I know it just opened and they're extremely busy but they definitely not prepared for the massive crowds. This was on a Saturday at 6:30pm, finally sat down with my food at 7:23pm. Overall it will be a while before I go back and give it a try again. read more

I was so excited for CAVA to finally open in Miami after loving it in New York, but this visit was a bit of a mixed bag. The main issue was that the hot elements of the food just weren't hot when served. On top of that, several toppings, especially the olives were incredibly salty, and the pita chips were a bit disappointing, dry, and cold because they were all laid out. I know how good CAVA can be, so I'm hoping these are just grand opening jitters. I'll definitely give them another chance next time! read more

Food is OK. The service was Ok. The restaurant was clean.. However, this is the second time that I visit this location and pay over $15 for an empty bowl. The girl literally sprinkled a few arugula leaves and a spoon of rice in the bowl. No exaggeration! Clearly this is something taught by management. . I thought Chipotle was bad but this place is definitely worse. Next time I'm in the mood for Mediterranean food, I'll just go to RICE Mediterranean Kitchen. read more

Well I came in today I'm a vegetarian and they had no more vegetables. Some other ladies were complaining about having to wait for 15 minutes for their food. While ordering I just got white rice and then I didn't know we could only choose 3 sides when I wanted one more she said it would cost more I said of course no worries... she asked me three times if I wanted it on the side or on top I told her on top..... then when it came to the vegetables they had none left. The kitchen said it would be around 8 minutes.... That vegetables take the longest to cook. I left. Disappointing. After waiting in line and going through the process. Food is honestly phenomenal. Better than many places. But the wait is honestly horrible. It's been opened for more than a month already. You will minimally spend 30 minutes in the line , every time no matter the time. They're extremely under staffed , on top of that the staff don't even know what they're doing. I had a line cook help the cashier..... Many people leave after waiting only 15 , and many complain they won't be coming again. It's faster waiting the 30 minute wait from ordering online then making the line. read more
